Very Good Show. My daughter is into musicals and she enjoyed it very much.
The Sound of Music at the Fox was amazing! It was even better than the movie....the head nun can SING!
I am a SOM nut ! I went to Salzburg , Austria to see all the sites of where the movie was filmed! Last night, at the Fox, (under the stars), was magical... What talent ! Thanks and keep bringing Atlanta this type of quality entertainment !
The play was great. Everything was just wonderful...the singing, the stage, the actors. My favorite thing, though, was seeing my 13 and 11 year old's faces while they watched. They were so entranced, and couldn't stop talking about it after. You won't be disappointed.
Absolutely amazing! Almost as great as the original. The songs were in a slightly different order but the whole production was very well done. The actor playing Max was fabulous. I would definitely recommend it.
The show was absolutely wonderful; however, there were some sound issues in the first act. At a few points, the actors' mics were not turned on and only those in the very front of the theater could hear what the actors were saying. In the second act, this problem was solved. Overall, the Sound of Music is a great show and one you should not miss! Additionally, the Fox Theatre Atlanta is a beautiful venue and the staff was friendly and helpful.
We have seen the Sond of Music on several occasions, this one ranking with the best!! The sets were very well presented, the characters knew their material and the singing was moving! The convent choir was amazing. Maria and the Captain' s chemistry was apparent and the children played their parts with ease. No matter how long this show goes on, IT IS ONE TO SEE!
I took my 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters to see the sound of Music. We enjoyed it very much. We love the Fox!
The singing was amazing. The nuns were incredible !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The humor that was thrown in made it a musical that didn't let you be bored. I laughed throughout the musical. Thanks and I'm glad I went. My daughter and I had a wonderful time.
The cast was great and the music is as amazing as the soundtrack for the movie!
Absolutely fantastic show. They all had such wonderful voices & very well acted.
It was such a treat to see The Sound of Music on stage after only seeing the movie. My friend with me said he enjoyed it even more than the movie. Loved it!
Loved the music. The story was out of order from the movie but there's a lot of movie to pack into a 21/2 hour show. Some of the songs seemed rushed. Wasn't happy about the family seated behind us that brought a baby and 3 kids that talked throughout the show.
It was one of my favorites!! Only Phantom is above it for me.
Good show. Great music! Had some sound problems but it was the first night so hopefully they'll have the bugs worked out now.
This was my first time to see Sound of Music LIVE. Yes, it is different from the movie but seems to actually be more in tune with the reall action. Moved quite quickly and in order. Loved it and the performers was great.
I saw the sound of music about 4 yrs ago and it was absolutely awesome, all the Characters looked like & sounded like the actual actors/actresses fromt he actual movie....We enjoyed this show too very much, but not quite as much as the 1st time we saw it...No one looked the part of the actual characters except for the clothing and the singing of some was a bit off. All in all, I would recommend you see it if you love the sound of music, the presentation was wonderful
The show was great and completely entertaining. The cast did a great job of capturing a classic
