The Slutcracker Tickets

Performers were most definitely exuberant, as was the audience. Sat in front row balcony: with my friend and, I believe, a mother and daughter -- which was sweet and cozy. While the idea is inspired, the narrative thread, for me, frayed. Difficult to get a sense of what was going on and why. That is, while the introduction said that familiarity with the Nutcracker didn't matter, I felt a little lost. Toward the end I was consulting my virtual program, impatient for things to wrap up. There's a positive therapeutic aspect to the experience. It's healing to see skillful bodies of diverse sizes, ethnicities, playing and mugging and being their full selves. Yay! Visibility. Open sexuality charms as well. Ultimately, I may just not be a burlesque person. Yet I appreciate an escape from what can feel like the strangulating norms of the season.

I've been coming to the show every year for about 5 years. The dancers are exceptional, the story is witty and entertaining. There's something new every year!

Funny experience and I recommend for a few friends

It's hilarious, fun, amateuresque, ridiculously fun props, brave performers, nudity with little to no boundaries. Go see it if you want to bring a conversation topic to the Xmas table

The theater was nice but it felt so cold like the ac was blowing right on us.

With the pandemic closing the show down, it's nice to see it upand running again. It seems to improve every time I have seen it.

It was funny and witty. A much needed adult night with the usual tradition but with a twist - loved it!

We left during intermission. It was so chaotic and confusing. The dancing wasn’t even done well. Waste of money

This show has become a yearly birthday event for my daughter and I. This is her 4th year and my 3rd year going. We bring a couple of people with us every year and get them hooked in coming back every year. This show is a shining example of amazing artistry and inclusivity. The interpretation of the nut cracker is like no other. Every year there are new and original cast and amazing costumes. You come in as an individual and leave feeling like part of a family.

On the show was amazing this was my fifth time seeing the slutcracker I would go again every year totally worth it it's reimagined it's fun it's Interactive it's everything you want a show to be everyone should see it every Christmas season

The show itself was wonderful, the Somerville theater is garbage. Seats so small and general admission is a bad approach especially for sold out shows. The one bar couldn’t accommodate the crowd and the line was beyond long. Again; show is great, Somerville theater sucks

The show was easy to follow along , very comical and I loved how body/sex positive it was . Everyone needs to see this show . It was so good . It had something for everyone . Can’t say enough how much I truly enjoyed my night here .

This was by far the worst theatre experience. There was no story line, the acting was subpar at best. Left at intermission and along with many other who did the same. Difficult to believe this is about 15 years in the running. If I could, I would give this zero stars....

The costumes and the enormous statue (not going to give it away) were just delightful! The beginning is a little slow but it certainly makes up for that. The dancers were strong and talented and everyone exuded sexiness. Such a fun show!

The cast was amazing! I love the diversity, humor and talent of this crew! I will be returning again next year!

Went with my friend to celebrate my 30th. It was amazing. The show was professional and hilarious. The performance was way above expectations. I'll be going back next year. I work with mostly open minded 20-40year old women and I'd definitely feel comfortable going with a group of them. I'd blush if a family member was around but it isn't raunchy or embarrassing. Can't wait to see it again.

I enjoyed the show a lot. This was my first time attending. The director did an incredible job re-inventing the holiday classic for our time and our community. Lots of laughs in a space of acceptance & respect. Thank you!
