The Sleeping Beauty Tickets

As a devotee of ballet for the past +35 years, I can say that this performance was sheer perfection.

It was exquisite! Beautiful costumes,stage screens and props. The ballet dancers were awesome and made everything magical! I enjoyed every minute. I would see this again with this ballet group. They have been touring the US since last November. They work hard! I would recommend this to everyone!

It was a wonderful ballet. Dancers were trained to perfection. The Costumes were amazingly beautiful...Downside: got a little repetitious at the end...but it did not take away the joy of watching my granddaughter observe the dancers and costumes with awe and wonder. Thank you.

I really loved the Sleeping Beauty performance. The quality of the backdrops and legs was the best. That 2d act downstage drop, the leafy, forestry one, was superb. The quality of costumes was the best. Of course the dancing was wonderful. The corps was great, and individual dancers were so great to watch. The only thing that disappointed me was the revival of Sleeping Beauty. It was up stage, with dancers all around. It was not a dramatic scene. I did that scene for our local ballet company, a scene with a daybed style bed which had numerous leafy vines running over “Beauty” and up and over the bed. When she was kissed, the vines which ran offstage, were slowly pulled off her and the bed, and off into the wings. “Beauty” then arose. It was a much more dramatic scene. The synchronization of the company was flawless. The costumes were custom and authentic. Loved the ending wedding scene with Little Red Riding Hood and Poussin Boots being invited.

Ballet was wonderful! Lovely costumes, terrific performance! The only drawback was the audience members who streamed in well after the show had started. Would suggest the ushers at the Plaza Theater hold latecomers until the end of Acts. It was very distracting to have people coming in so late.

The set was beautiful, the costumes whimsical and fairy-tale perfect, and the music and dancing enchanting!. Enjoyed the entire production.

My group would have loved to have a program to see who was performing, the schedule for the performance and background for the story. We were not the only people looking for a program!
