  • Rocketman is a showstopper! It is a must see!

by Mimi on 7/17/23Rating: 5 out of 5

What a spectacular show! I treated my mom for her 93rd birthday 🎂. We are fans of Sir Elton John's music. The gentleman, who performed as Rocketman, was superbly talented. Wow, he could play that keyboard! He and the rest of his band were sensational. Mark on guitar was amazing as well as the drummer & the other guitarist. It was our best night ever! Definitely, Rocketman delivered! What multi-talent ! Rocketman's costumes were exquisite!

Rus the rocket was unbelievable! The non-stop high energy was great. He plays and sings as good if not BETTER than Elton John. It is a must see show.

  • Entertainment!

by Kitkat on 4/17/23Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Full throttle entertainment from the performers. The energy filled the room and was felt. Very talented musicians. Great list of hits played although "hercules" shouldn't have been included IMO. It changed the vibe for awhile. The venue delivered great service, clean bathrooms, safe environment. Good times!

  • Simply Spectacular

Close your eyes and listen to decades of Elton John's best material. Open your eyes and see four musicians at the top of their game. The Rocketman was definitely one of the best shows I've ever seen. Everyone will enjoy the quality and energy of the entire show. A definite DON'T MISS!

  • left at intermission

by Fleecy on 4/17/23Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

The music was so loud that it was terribly distorted, making it a very unpleasant experience & a waste of money. We couldn't understand what was being sung or said. There were 2 back-up singers (at least I assume they were singing) who we literally couldn't hear at all. Blocking our ears helped a lot, but who wants to sit through a concert holding their ears the whole time? We saw people leaving long before the intermission, & we certainly weren't the only ones who left at the intermission. That being said, the audience overall was extremely enthusiastic. Maybe they didn't care that the sound was distorted.

  • Very Talented Musicians

The lead singers voice and piano skills are top notch! The band is full of talent. All the songs were performed beautifully and the band really did a great job getting the audience involved. Be ready to sing along!!

  • Great show

    by Don W on 4/16/23Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 4 out of 5

The show was excellent and the only reason for not five stars was the band was often too loud and drowned out the Rus Anderson the singer

  • The BEST!!!

by JoniF on 4/16/23Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

EXCELLENT! A++. We would have thought we were at a REAL Elton John concert. The performer was EXCELLENT, he looked, dressed and sounded EXACTLY like a young Elton John. The staging was perfection. KUDOS!!! Can’t say enough wonderful things about this show. Simply WONDERFUL!!!

by DennyB on 4/16/23Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

These guys nailed it!!!!! A ton of energy/talent along with a great sound system all made for an AWESOME concert evening. The band & crowd fed off each other and rocked for 2 1/2 hrs. Only disappointment : they didn't sell any cd's afterward...........man I wanted to hear their version of Levon again and again.

  • High energy, very entertaining!

The costumes were spot on, the musicians were great, but the piano playing was totally amazing, making me wish I had taken my piano lessons seriously! Lol !! Just a very fun evening;)

  • Unexpectedly Bad

    by Summerspot20 on 4/15/23Rating: 2 out of 5

The band was good, Anderson has some good piano skills, costumes and mannerisms mimic Elton John, but this guy cannot sing the songs. Couldn’t hit the notes, was out of breath half the time, and his stories were SO long-winded, it was a waste of time. I love a good tribute band but they have to actually be able to sing the songs. Don’t waste your money or time. We left after a little more than an hour.
