A remarkably funny play based on a serious/sensitive time in world history
It was a fantastic production ! loved every minute of it. Thanks for coming to Boise
A show like the Producers is dependent on timing and this crew had it together. It was crisp, direct and perfectly performed. I have seen this show before and it compared very well with those other performances. The actors fed off the crowd's energy which was nice to see since it doesn't happen all that often in Boise. I like to be closer to the stage but my wife likes the perspective of seeing the entire stage. The audio system was perfect, I didn't miss a line. The best part of the mezz is the slope of the seating greater so if you end up with a large person in front of you you are not trying to see around them.
The Producers was a very professionally done production. The character of Max probably was the most notable performer. The elegant sets including the Springtime for Hitler was astounding. The Morrison Center is definitely the place to go to see Broadway touring company musical shows!
Well done! A most entertaining evening. As good as I've seen on Broadway. Talented cast. Leads nailed it.
If you are a member of the PC police stay away. It was anot her great work from Mel Brooks!!! I would see it again.
The singing and dancing were excellent. My disappointment was in the very frequent and unnecessary sexually explicit references. There were no warnings that this was not "family appropriate" material. I splurged by buying my family tickets for a night out at the theater to be very embarrassed. Way more explicit than the movie.
Great show. Definitely recommend it. My husband who doesn't normally enjoy the theater laughed the whole time. Talented actors, orchestra was spot on and nice venue.
The show was awesome, we had such a great time. Funny, and great music. I would choose a different seat in this venue. The hand rail for the stairs blocked my view.
Hilarious! Typical Mel Brooks humor. A great cast! Baleystock and Bloom were fantastic!! I really enjoyed the experience!
Top notch fun & entertaining production..some of the jokes were dated & not PC today but funny nonetheless! An evening well spent!
Everyone in the party loved it. One said her cheeks hurt from smiling. First time to this theater loved the leg room
Loved having this quality of show in Huntsville. Extremely good acting, singing and dancing. It is a funny show too. So glad that we saw it. Well worth the $
My wife and I have seen The Producers five times, including one on Broadway. The cast that performed in Huntsville was talented, enthusiastic and energetic. They took a funny, well written play and made it their own.
This is the first show in Huntsville that we have attended and I was disappointed this show. I feel the players were fair, not as good as New York, but OK for Huntsville. I was more concerned with the content. I guess that I needed to do more reading on the content before attending. Living in the south, the content was a bit risky. I was surprised that there was not a protest outside seeing that we live in the Bible Belt. The hall where this was shown was too cold, I almost left to go get my coat.
Good Show. Very talented performers, Very funny !!
Well produced. Singing was very good!!! Very enjoyable evening.
Fantastic. Was more than we expected. The cast very professional
Cast was excellent. The show was entertaining from beginning to end. Lots of laughs, had a great time.
Some scenes were minimalistic compared with the broadway production, very understandable for one night performances, but still an excellent show and laughs galore. The talent absolutely rivaled the broadway production. Could have stayed and laughed another 2 hours!
