The Price Is Right Live on Tour

Seeing The Price Is Right Live is a little bit like being reunited with a childhood friend. Anyone who grew up anywhere near a TV from the early 1970s onward probably has the classic game show embedded forever in their consciousness; seeing it play out in front of you (and maybe even taking part) can be a thrillingly surreal experience. But it's much more than just a nostalgia trip. Whether you're a lifelong fan of the show or it's your first exposure to the whole concept, the stage version of The Price Is Right is an enormous amount of fun, with random audience members picked to compete for cash and prizes by playing challenges like Plinko, The Big Wheel and The Showcase. If you're among the lucky attendees who get the famous call to "Come on down!" you just might feel a little chill go up your spine. But even if you aren't, it's still a blast to be part of the whole thing as it happens.

About The Price Is Right Live

In 1972, a part of TV history began its journey with the premier of The Price Is Right on CBS. When contestants heeded host Bob Barker's iconic call to "Come on down!" and take part in what has become one of America's most beloved game shows, a legacy started that would last for decades to come. The Price Is Right is one of the most popular, longest-running TV shows ever, so it's not surprising that it spawned a stage version in 2002. When you attend The Price Is Right Live, you may not be on TV but you're still getting the full experience. Whether you're one of the randomly selected contestants or a spectator, you see the classic game played out before your eyes, as people do their best to guess prices in order to win cash and prizes.

    Price is right

by Mckrrobi on 3/1/16Star Plaza Theatre - Merrillville

It was a fun show, but the organization of this was the worse I've seen so far. We waited an hour and a half to register. We waited patiently like everyone else in this room that was jam-packed, he tried to put us rows so that's the order we go in to register. When we started to register everyone was cutting and getting in front of everyone, so people that waited no time got to register before me( who waited forever). I know the order you register doesn't matter it's just the fact we were waiting respectfully. Also they only had two beer lines open, so I waited prolly 40 minutes for a beer. The show was fun though, but if all places are in-organized like this one, I would never go back.

    Kind of Shabby

by SassWytt on 3/1/16Star Plaza Theatre - Merrillville

The theater is kind of dirty and shabby. Even stank. The host makes the show very entertaining, but the prizes you win are not comparable to the tv show. Basically cash prizes with the highest amount given out that night of $250.

Price is Right - fun night!

by megabrew on 2/29/16Fox Cities PAC - Appleton

Bought our tickets as soon as they went on sale, 3 1/2 months before the show. Arrive early enough to "register" to be one of the people called. There were about 40 names called during the evening, some for a chance to get on stage, others for random gift card give-a-ways. The games that were played were all classic Price is Right games - which made it VERY fun. All of the contestants were enthusiastic and the woman next to me was called on stage for the showcase! It is definitely a bit "scaled down" from the Hollywood version in terms of value of the prizes but we saw someone win a trip to Las Vegas, a home theater system, a washer/dryer set, cash. It was fun to see the bloopers and highlight videos that would play in between Todd Newton was great as the host and everyone seemed to leave with a smile on their face!

    Not what everyone expected

by Anonymous on 2/29/16Fox Cities PAC - Appleton

The host was rude to the contestants. There were many people who misunderstood that it was truly not the show, as the advertising was misleading. It was a very disappointing evening.

The Price Is Right Live was a good time

by Lucy1006 on 2/29/16Fox Cities PAC - Appleton

We had a good time at The Price Is Right Live - Stage Show. However I thought the prizes could have been higher value. The showcase portion was kind of low value, instead of an electric bike I thought they could have at least given away 1 of the trips they were offering.

It was over rated. Seats were great but they didn't do a whole lot during the show and only gave away maybe 6000 in cash and prizes.

    Price is Right Live

by KimJ2 on 2/29/16Fox Cities PAC - Appleton

It was okay. If you are really a lover of the show it is fun. I have been to the show in California so that was the real deal. This is fun, but not the real thing.

    High energy show!

by PJFK on 2/29/16Fox Cities PAC - Appleton

This was a fun show to attend filled with high energy excitement at every turn and Ashlé (the onstage assistant/model was certainly a site for sore eyes). I would recommend this show to anyone who enjoys having a good time.

    The Price is Right Show

by Ray55 on 2/29/16Black River Coliseum - Poplar Bluff

I liked the show but thought they could have talked less and called more people down to compete. I thought the showcase was way under priced. A nice bike, a trip to Hollywood, a trip to Hawaii, and a new car all for $21,000. Both contestants overbid.

All in all, it was a fun experience. However, I was kind of disappointed with the fact that the games did not have the same dollar amounts to win as the original show does.

Don't waste ytour time or money!!!!

by PMRobey on 2/29/16Black River Coliseum - Poplar Bluff

Show was more comedy than anything!!! Stage show nothing like the real thing. Most prizes were just blown up pictures on a screen. Unsure if the people who got to bid and go up on stage actually won the items they originally bid on. If you won the spin off, you got $250. Showcase showdown was a joke, the prize was an electric bicycle, a trip to Hawaii and a new car. You had to get within $1000 of suggested retail price to win the trip and within $100 to win the car, of course, both people overbid, yeah right, coincidence? I think not!!! every round had new contestants, which gave more people the opportunity to win. Would not recommend to go see this The Price Is Right Live Stage Show!! If you want to see The Price Is Right, go to California and see the real thing!!!! Not worth the wait or the money!!!!!

    Waste of time and money

by Katz10 on 2/28/16Effingham Performance Center - Effingham

Overrated!!! The registration process was poorly designed. The give away prizes were not that great, the show was 90 min but about 1/2 was the announcer talking...ugh.

The Price Is Right was Fun, Fun, Fun!

by msbbjane on 2/27/16Black River Coliseum - Poplar Bluff

I had originally bought the tickets for my husband for his birthday, however, we were divorced before this event so I elected to take a lady friend of mine instead. We both were losing our voices from all the hollering we were doing. The crowd was large and loud and we were excited beyond measure. Only disappointment was lack of amount of games played. I did get picked when our host Todd Newton, came down into the audience to check out t-shirts and I caught his attention. We were not to take videos or pictures, but my friend videoed my segment with Todd, so I could show family and friends. I NEVER have the nerve to do anything like I did that night, but for some reason I came alive with his prompting. Haven't had so much fun in years. Thank you Thank you Thank you!

It was nothing like the one on tv they did stuff differently so if you want the real price is right this is not it at all. Drew didn't even host the show.
