THE BRILLIANT ORIGINAL RETURNS "MORE SPECTACULAR THAN EVER" - Sunday Express
The Phantom is back to thrill audiences once again! Cameron Mackintosh presents a revitalized new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's legendary musical, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, which was rapturously received by London critics when it reopened in 2021. Featuring Maria Björnson's brilliant original design and based on the celebrated direction of Harold Prince, with musical staging and choreography by Gillian Lynne, PHANTOM will launch a new multi-year North American tour in November 2025, premiering at the Cadillac Palace Theatre in Chicago December 11, 2025 - February 1, 2026.
THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA is widely considered one of the most beautiful and spectacular productions in history, playing to over 160 million people in 47 territories and 195 cities in 21 languages. Andrew Lloyd Webber's romantic, haunting, and soaring score includes "The Music of the Night," "All I Ask of You," "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again," "Masquerade," and the iconic title song. It tells the tale of a disfigured musical genius known only as 'The Phantom' who haunts the depths of the Paris Opera House. Mesmerized by the talents and beauty of a young soprano, Christine, The Phantom lures her as his protégé and falls fiercely in love with her. Unaware of Christine's love for Raoul, The Phantom's obsession sets the scene for a dramatic turn of events where jealousy, madness, and passions collide.

One word: overwhelming. I saw the Phantom movie 3 years ago when I was in college and finally had the opportunity to see it live with the Phantom Tour. Boy oh boy was it worth it. The performances were absolutely mind blowing and the music sucks you in from the very first moment. Everyone should get out and see this performance. 10/10 would see again every day for the rest of my life.
Fifth time seeing this show that I love. This performance was a let down. Partly because of the theaters set design, partly because of less than stellar actors. No where close to NYC Magestic Theatre in Broadway.
Absolutely wonderful performance! If you get the chance to see it, don't pass it up. Wish we could go again!
Love this play. I've seen it about 6 times. A little different from the others, but still great. Best music ever.
Incredibly entertaining, every minute of it, the dancing the singing, the set, everything!
I took my daughter to it for her First Time! It was so exciting for her! I feel that this by far is the best performance I have seen. Five Stars for sure! I would give 10 stars if I could! I will definitely see it again and again! This was the best theater to have it shown as well!
Whomever decided to change Phantom after 30+ years sucks! Sometime last year they came out with a new production that changes the stage and story, and not for the better. Having seen Phantom over 50+ times since 1992 I am a purist, I hate this new version. This is the last touring show I will be seeing for the foreseeable future, as there is no way to determine which show you are getting when you purchase tickets. On a positive note, the actors were good.
I took my wife to see this show as she is a big Phantom fan. She was in awe of the sets and the musical abilities of the cast. This was a very well done show.
Great show, great seats! Balcony center, always a great view.
