  • The Orchestra

by PeaceLoveFeats on 7/3/18Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

Players from the original Electric Light Orchestra played all of the hits and did an AWESOME job! My wife and I sat in the 5th row of the balcony with a great view. Sound was good, not great. Mix was a bit hot on the keys and strings which partially covered the vocals which were 3 part harmony and spot on. Overall, a great night!

Musical and vocal perfection! Each member shines individually, but when their brilliant artistic abilities blend, forming instrumental and vocal layers, the live concert experience is unparalleled!!

Great show, venue, and band. Lots of fun listening to ELO music. Jeff Lynne should join this band

  • Great Show The Orchestra (ELO)

by Spikey01 on 7/2/18Resorts Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Superstar Theatre is an intimate venue. The band was great and I think they had just as good time playing as we did watching and listening. I really enjoyed the show. They played all their old songs and they still sounded as awesome as they did in the 70s.

  • Absolutely phenominal

    by 2018cruising on 2/10/18Moody Blues Cruise - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5

My husband and I have been on the last four Moody Blues cruises. The Orchestra added such wonderful entertainment and we always love seeing them perform. The cruise certainly would not be the same without The Orchestra. They create such a fantastic energy and everybody enjoys them thoroughly. They are such great guys and they are so personable. You see them around the ship and they are always friendly and engaging. They perform all of the songs enthusiastically and it's obvious that they are having a great time right along with you. You can tell that they really love performing. The members are so good looking and personable. I listen to their CDs constantly and I never tire of them or their songs. We can't wait to see them again. We love them. When I am having a bad day, I simply put one of their CDs on. Instantly, my day is completely turned around into a great day!!!! Yes, they are THAT good!!!!

  • The Orchestra/ELO...at Belterra 8/26/2017

by MyNana123abc on 8/31/17Belterra Casino Resort and Spa - FlorenceRating: 5 out of 5

Another great concert....I'd forgotten how many hits they have. It was 40 years ago when I last saw them in concert and they sounded great. Very enjoyable time.

  • Surpassed Expectations

by elorulz on 8/30/17Belterra Casino Resort and Spa - FlorenceRating: 5 out of 5

These guys won over much of the crowd after just a few songs, and after 20 excellent renditions of ELO hits, they made believers of everyone there in their maximum for a casino 90-minute set. The drumming is the best it's been in years, Hux was a fun frontman & sounded great on vocals. Eric & Glen provided lush harmonies, and of course Lou, Mik & Lou Jr. provided unsurpassed string sounds.

  • ELO rememberable

by Anonymous on 8/29/17Belterra Casino Resort and Spa - FlorenceRating: 5 out of 5

Since Jeff Lynne doesn't want to play in the USA or only in NY and LA. The orchestra is just as good with two original members. They sound fantastic and they played all the main songs even one that only true ELO fans would know. Diary of Horace. They only play smaller venues which gives true fans a great experience. This band should be playing larger arenas. I first saw ELO in 1976 in little theater in Buffalo where I remember the true energy they had from Eldorado album Face the Music tour . I have seen them play larger venues like Out of the Blue tour and Time. This brought back many memories. I highly recommend seeing The Orchestra if you are true ELO fan. I would go see them again in heartbeat. Enjoy the band since you may never see ELO with Jeff Lynne together again.

  • The Orchestra rocked!!

by Ppiediddy on 8/29/17Belterra Casino Resort and Spa - FlorenceRating: 5 out of 5

The band originals were spot on. The other musicians took us back to the 70's and 80's with their strong stage presense

  • When music was worth listening to!!

Very much enjoyed going back into the 70's listening to some of the many hits of ELO!

  • Very Good

by Mowerup on 8/29/17Belterra Casino Resort and Spa - FlorenceRating: 4 out of 5

Though Jeff Lynn wasn't involved, the group sounded good. The music was played, to the original form. Making the night enjoyable.

  • good show if your an ELO fan

good venue and show was great, would recommend to others. didn't realize how many commercials use ELO.

  • Great Music

by luval on 8/24/17Tilles Center Concert Hall - BrookvilleRating: 4 out of 5

This is a nice venue to see a concert. Especially the bands they had playing. ELO-the Orchestra was very good and Orleans was too. Al Stewart was the main reason we went and he played a short 1/2 acoustic set. (Except for the last song the "YOTC" Orleans joined him)

  • Disappointed

by PortWashington10538 on 8/23/17Tilles Center Concert Hall - BrookvilleRating: 2 out of 5

Sound was amped up way too loud. Everything sounded muddy, totally obscuring the musicianship and ruining what could have been a great concert. Either the band members are getting deaf, their sound crew and Tilles techs didn't do them any favors, or both.

  • The Orchestra Killed It!

by chichi500 on 8/22/17Tilles Center Concert Hall - BrookvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I was actually there mainly for Al Stewart since he is rarely in NY, though my husband is a huge ELO fan (yes, we're middle aged and so was the rest of the crowd!)....Al was a pleasure, did "Year of the Cat," a true work of genius and I was thrilled to see him play that live (with Orleans as his back-up-awesome!)....Orleans did an incredible blues song-excellent! I was not much interested in The Orchestra and never considered myself an ELO freak, but I was totally BLOWN AWAY by them! I desperately wanted to dance in the aisles, but was too embarrassed. By the last song, everyone was dancing, so I figured I would join in. This was more fun than I've had in I don't know how long. Now I keep singing ELO songs all day and added them to my Pandora list. My husband, who is hard to impress, loved it too and let me tell you, they sound totally like ELO! Though....I think they could prob have a little more fun w the songs and change them up a little-I don't think they should feel like they need to completely reproduce the album versions and I imagine that gets boring for them. If you like ELO, The Orchestra is as close to them as you'll ever get and totally worth seeing!
