Thought the ELO show was terrific! They played everything I wanted to hear and sounded great and were very enthusiastic.
As usual, these former members of ELO & ELO Part 2 came thru w a great, fun filled set for 90+ minutes. The only song that disappointed was their worst performance ever of Rock n' Roll is King, but the band soon regained its footing for the rest of the evening. Included in the set are ALL of the hit ELO songs you'd expect AND ELO songs Jeff Lynne no longer plays live: Strange Magic, Xanadu, Fire On High, etc. Their versions of Showdown, Turn to Stone, Livin' Thing, 10538 Overture, Standin' in the Rain, Mr Blue Sky & Can't Get It Out of My Head are almost too good to be believed.
The Orchestra starring former members of ELO are so wonderful and amazing. They always put on a great show. Love love them.
The Orchestra sounded awesome. Second time seeing them at The Paramount. Nice venue in the heart of Huntington. Really good set list. Played all the ELO hits...and a few more obscure ones (The Diary of Horace Wimp...describes a co-worker of mine to a T!). When they come back around...I'll see them again...they're that good!
This was a great show. Lots of talented people. They played many of ELOs hits and sounded really good.
Great concerts, every time... The Orchestra adds its own great music and interpretation, as well as keeps much of Jeff's music alive. I hope that they have mutual appreciation for each other's contributions...don't miss The Orchestra!
This is the 1st time I ever saw ELO in concert and I'm glad I did. They are still amazing after all these years.
I love this band, they play great rockin' songs with enthusiasm, a joyful experience. Always want to jump up and dance, don't know how everyone stays in their seats. Their violin player is the Cat's Meow!...and all other band members do a great job playing their parts. The band really works well together and you can see they are enjoying themselves...it is infectious...
The Orchestra featuring former ELO members won the crowd over w great performances of Evil Woman, Sweet Talkin' Woman, Livin' Thing, Xanadu, Strange Magic,Don't Bring Me Down & incredible performances of Can't Get it out of My Head, Fire on High, Telephone Line, 10538 Overture, Standing in the Rain, Turn to Stone, Do Ya, Mr. Blue Sky. Fans were saying lots of great things about the band at intermission & afterwards.
I really didn't know what to expect but The Orchestra really delivered! This show is not just for die hard fans of ELO (like me) but even for the casual fan (like my wife, who really enjoyed it!). Go see them!
