  • The Orchestra was OUTSTANDING !!!!

Everything I hoped it would be. I wish they would tour more often. The only down side was that Mik Kaminski couldn't be there do to the events happening with the volcano eruption in Europe. I guess I will have to see them again.

  • The Orchestra totally ROCKED!

Sound quality was awesome! My seats were just a few arm lengths from the stage. They did my favorite ELO song Water On High, which blew me away. Another great surprise was Rockaria complete with an opera girl. It was just all good stuff from the first song. If you love ELO music, then you'll love these guys. Even if you like ELO, you'll still love it. Everyone was singing along to every song.

  • An entertaining night with ELO

It was a lot better that I could have imagined. The band sounded great and they all seemed to be having fun. Well worth attending... can't wait for them to come back!

Even an Icelandic volcano disruption causing legendary Mik Kaminski to be sadly absent, could not stop this event from being memorable for all the best reasons!! These guys need to be seen morel The Orchestra rocks!!!!

We went to see “The Orchestra” (ELO) and got there a little later than we wanted to. Show time was listed as 8pm so the six of us ran up the escalator around 7:45 so we wouldn't miss the show. Resorts apparently didn't get the word that the show was sold out. We still had to stand in line from just before 8 to about 8:20 and we were no where near the end of the line. I guess Resorts told the band they were still checking people in at show time. The show started around 8:20 with about a tenth of the crowd still trying to find their seats, the bar, or the bathroom. I got back from the bathroom as the band started and my wife gave up standing in line for$3.00 water. It was shaping up to be a disappointing evening until the band came on. WOW All the troubles faded away and we were entertained by a great group of musicians. My wife (who wasn't even born until the discovery album) enjoyed the show as much as I did. Even with Mr. Kaminski stuck in Europe due to volcanic ash, the show was fantastic. I would go tomorrow and pay double to see them again (as long as it was not at Resorts.)

  • The Orchestra (E.L.O.) was awesome !

The band , although not all original, performed each piece flawlessly. We have been waiting several years for a gig in the United States and they did not let us down. I drove a 17 hour round trip to see them in Atlantic City and I would have gone further. Each member did a superb job on their performance, so well that it was definitely a step back in time. They interacted with the fans throughout the entire concert and welcomed everyone's participation with the entire set list. Hopefully they were as overwhelmed with the audience as we we're with their performance, to persuade them to return for future performances. For all E.L.O. fans out there ........ this was a performance not to be missed.

  • orchestra was fantastic

temendous show, hope they dont wait 10 years to come back to this area, glen burnick(formaly of styx and playing paul mccartney in beatlemania) is great....mik kaminski and his blue violin didnt get out of england due to volcano so they made light of it and use organs to fill in. we wondered who would do the high voices like in rockaria...and it was very well done, they a girl who sang the part all dressed up...very funny and very good

  • ELO

They did a fantastic job of bringing back ELO's hits. Their performance and harmony at the Resorts Hotel in Atlantic City was great even with a band member who was unable to make it last minute because of the closed London airports due to the clouds of ash from Iceland. I would highly recommend their wonderful performance.

  • ELO rocked!

by Scottwriter on 4/18/10Resorts Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 4 out of 5

I went with my cousin last night to the concert at Resorts in Atlantic City, and we both liked and enjoyed the concert, but my cousin called it cover band because there was only about one original member of the original lineup of ELO. Though it was mentioned during the show by a band member that one of the original fiddle players was stuck and unable to attend and perform due to the Volcano in Iceland, which made air travel from Europe almost impossible in some places. The players of the ELO reunion were definitely professional and spot on, and there was even a guitar player from the band Styx which was cool, but a true reunion would have had Jeff Lynn who left the band in 1986 only to return in 2000 and he even came out with a new ELO album in 2001 which had former Beatle George Harrison on it prior to his passing in late '01, and his band mate Ringo Starr was also on it. So over all the concert was good and raocked, but it still paled in comparison to an ELO lineup with Jeff Lynn.
