THE OAK RIDGE BOYS IN CONCERT:
The Oak Ridge Boys' timeless country and gospel classics may date back to the World War II era, but the band is still a force to be reckoned with in the 21st century. Their showmanship is unstoppable -- whether they're playing oldies like "Elvira" or the smash-hit "Leaving Louisiana In the Broad Daylight," they always keep the energy high at their live shows with perfect harmonies and tight fingerpicking. It's been over 50 years since the Oak Ridge Boys first performed together, and their voices are still sharp as ever as they treat fans to their gospel-infused country tunes on the 2014 Boys Night Out tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
The Oak Ridge Boys' founding member Wally Fowler started the band in 1949, recruiting an existing group called the Calvary Quartet to perform with him as the Oak Ridge Quartet. As a nod to their country gospel roots, the quartet changed their name to the Oak Ridge Boys, and their career took off from there. The group has had several personnel changes over the course of their tenure, but that hasn't stopped them from producing hit after hit during their decade-spanning career. The Oak Ridge Boys have released 31 studio albums -- a number of which have reached gold certification or higher -- and over 30 Top 10 singles, an enormous feat for the world-renowned country quartet. With numerous Grammy, Dove, CMA, and ACM Awards under their belt, the Oak Ridge Boys are truly a one-of-a-kind act. After over 60 years of touring together, the group is set to delight fans once again with a string of highly anticipated shows.

It took several times to get tickets ordered online. Tried again for a different show and same experience so didn't buy. The Paramount in Anderson was great.

The Oak Ridge Boys Christmas Farewell Concert was fantastic!! Those guys put on such a personal experience of sharing from each one of them - Our group had ages from 20's to 70's and EVERY SINGLE PERSON was thrilled with The Oak Ridge Boys performance concert. The Paramount Theater in Anderson, IN was a beautiful setting - so elegant for the Christmas Season! Just wish the opportunity to purchase Tshirts, cds, etc was made AFTER the show - when the audience is really excited about what they just saw!
I've seen them in Texas years ago and saw them 3 years ago at Honeywell center. And there Farwell tour was truly amazing They'll never be replaced! Good ole boys
They are doing their Farewell concert & this was also Christmas show. It was truly amazing

Awesome Music, Oak Ridge Boys made the concert so much fun for the audience Had never seen them in concert before. Loved every bit of it. Highly recommend seeing them especially if you like Country and Gospel and Christmas music. These guys are legendary
You can never go wrong with the Oaks. Sad to see this last farewell Christmas show. But it will be alright. I have their music to listen to for a long time.
Even though the guys are getting older, they still know how to put on a great show! The song selection was excellent, the messages were wonderful and at times quite moving. They are ending a fabulous career on a wonderfully right note. The concert was completely sold out, and the audience was singing along and having a wonderful time.
I took my dad to this and we both enjoyed it so much! The only improvement would've been more comfortable chairs.
When getting phone scanned for 4 tickets, only 1 would scan! 😱 Fortunately someone in the office checked my order number and gave us paper tickets. No one knew why the QR code only came up for 1 ticket! The Oaks were great!
one word FANTASTIC !! Hate to see them go. We all love them
The OakRidge Boys were amazing! They are such a great group of guys!! Great singers even at their age! It's kind of sad though, ending of the greatest music era ever.
It was a great experience. They did a wonderful job.
I've seen thenm several times. They just get better and better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The ORB's are still as awesome as ever, loved seeing them in Little Nashville, IN.
These guys still have the ability to give a great performance after 50 years. Mostly great songs from the past but also some new music just released. Crowd was really into the show. I heard nothing but great comments from everyone. See them while you can!
Great show. I really enjoyed it. But it was with mixed emotions. This has been announced as their farewell tour. I don't blame them. We are all getting older. I am retired and not as old as they are. At least, I got to see them one more time. I was not disappointed.
