The Night Before Christmas - a family tradition

by HPMom on 10/26/12McFarlin Auditorium - so convenient! - Dallas, TX

Our family has been going to this ballet every Christmas season for the last four years. It has become a special family tradition that we all look forward to. Etgen Atkinson's performance is fun and family friendly. Besides the beautiful dancing, one reason we choose to return to this ballet over the others in the Dallas area is because of the convenience of McFarlin Auditoium. After the Saturday matinee performance we head over to Snider Plaza for dinner at one of the many restaurants.

I have taken my grandkids to this for the last few years and love it. Its easy to get to and easy to park. Its a beautiful, traditional Christmas show and I love this old theatre on the SMU campus...free parking!

    Absolutely beautiful!

by beachchick601 on 10/19/12McFarlin Auditorium, SMU - Dallas

The Night before Christmas is a must-see event, especially if you have children that are interested in dancing. Dallas Metropolitan Ballet puts on a beautiful, professional production with not only their talented dancers but they also bring in professional dancers from New York. Santa comes down the aisles with candy, and the production really puts you in the Christmas spirit. The stage, the lighting and the props are spectacular. This should be a tradition for any Dallas family!
