The Midnight is a synthwave band consisting of Atlanta-raised singer and songwriter Tyler Lyle and producer Tim McEwan. The pair formed in Los Angeles as a songwriting duo in 2012 and independently released their first EP, Days of Thunder, in 2014. Their debut album Endless Summer followed in 2016, trailed by 2017’s Nocturnal EP and 2018’s Kids. The Midnight reached new heights in 2020 with their third album, Monsters, which marked the duo’s first time charting on the Billboard 200. They also added a new dimension to their live performances by introducing a five-piece band setup.

Great band, we love them and have seen them twice now! So much fun and a great venue.
It was a really cool first concert experience. The lights and the fog were really atmospheric and really fit the aesthetic of The Midnight. Unfortunately I had to leave after a few songs of the main show due to my girlfriend getting a migraine, but from what I was able to see/hear it was phenomenal. Hopefully the next time goes according to plan!
So much passion goes into this music and you could feel that at the show. They establish such an intimate connection with the audience. Truly a special experience that I will remember for the rest of my life.
Seeing The Midnight live was amazing. The opening band got 45 minutes, which seemed to be a little too much. It took another half an hour to for the band to take the stage, but it was worth it. The venue was decent. Taken altogether, it was a great experience hindered by too much waiting for the main act.
Awesome live performance & engery. Props to bring the saxophone back to the live music scene again.
Hands down the best show I've ever seen. The sweet sweet sounds of the saxophone are still ringing in my ears.
Seeing The Midnight was a refreshingly nostalgic experience. Not only are they incredible live, they brought an energy to the room that was pure happiness and reminiscent of being time-warped right back to the 80’s. I plan on seeing them as much as I can in the future!
The Midnight was absolutely amazing! And they had an amazing group called Violet Days with them that I’ve never heard before. The only drawback was that the venue had no coat check and if you left you could not re-enter so I was stuck holding my signed vinyl record the entire time. But their staff and the performance were so amazing it totally made up for it.
The Midnight is an experience that everyone should have the honor of participating in. They consistently put on a fantastic show and the fans are just as into them. Drove 4+ hours to see them and it was completely worth every hour and penny.
The Foundry is a nice little venue upstairs at the Fillmore. Honestly, I didn't even know it existed. Intimate, but perfect for a lesser known group. The opening act was Ayokay, and he was good, touring for the first time after releasing an album a few weeks ago. A nice mix of visuals and audio, with a video screen playing short videos to go with his songs. The main event, though, was teh Midnight. ON the tail end of their first US tour, the boys did a fantastic job, covering all four of their releases, from the first two EPs to the newest Album, "Kids". They threw in a few acoustics in the encore and a cover of "Boys of Summer" . They were loud, they were lively and they did not disappoint. CAn't wait for them to come back!
The real sexy sax men. Don't settle for any impostors. This is the real deal.
Great concert just wish they sang more songs but was a greattttt time great event great music!! I will def go see them again !!
Like a religious experience. Euphoric. One of the best I’ve been to
Really fun show. Wishes the opening act hadn’t waited until after 9pm to go on for an 8pm showtime. Also sounds mixing was such that sometimes you couldn’t really hear the sax.
