I wanted to see him but my ride broke down and I didn't have another way there I hope to see him the next time he is here
My husband and I have waited at least 2 years to see Marcus In concert. Definitely worth the wait
This performance was great, the musical ability of each artist was tastefully shown. The house sound system @ Aura needs a bit of work. If you are standing at the stage you cannot hear the vocals that well, you could hear the instruments perfectly. Otherwise it was a great way to spend a Friday night!
Music was great, but the place kinda sucks. I had been there a few years back, but it must not have been as packed. With a sold out show, there was no good spot to see the stage. Unless you have a seat, the layout is not ideal.
Marcus King is the real deal and the future of Rock and Roll, Blues, Jam, and Country Music. Also Hannah Wickund was amazing, Future Queen of the Guitar!! A must see show!!
These guys are amazing! They played an array of different tempo songs and genres of music. Rock, Blues, Country/Americana, Jazz, etc. You name it, these guys cross over into it! Mostly rooted in blues, Marcus and Co. didn't want to stop playing, you can tell they love what they do, yet they still leave you wanting more. They also get in a jam with several songs but always showcasing extraordinary talent onstage, no show boating. How these guys haven't totally blown up yet is a mystery but I love seeing them in the theater venue. Non stop show with incredible talent. Don't miss the opportunity to see these guys!
Don't know if it was the venue or the sound setup by the band. The very booming base drowned out the vocals. You could tell vocals were being sung, but no chance of being able to hear them. We listen to a lot of the artist's recordings which we enjoy greatly, but the concert from our seats did no justice to the artist.
As reported elsewhere, the sound engineers ruined the opportunity for hundreds of fans to here one of the great young guitar players in the world. Decibel levels beyond deafening and horrible mixing made the entire show almost unhearable.
Hannah Wicklund got things off to a roaring start and the Marcus King Band took off from there. It reminded me of some of my favorite live Allman Brothers records. A truly exhilarating show! The Uptown staff was excellent as always!
I’ve seen a lot of shows across a variety of genres. This was a top 5 artist and a top 5 show. Marcus’ voice and guitar skills are incredible. His band is phenomenal, especially the drums. Was the first time I saw them. It won’t be the last.
Marcus king did not disappoint, amazing voice and the band was amazing also . The seats were up balcony and were the best . I can’t wait to see him again
