  • Had a great time and will definitely be back.

by BASH on 8/26/25North Charleston Coliseum - North CharlestonRating: 5 out of 5

Marcus is a talented guy and of course JJ always brings it. Also Kudos to the stage crew who earned their money with the last minute venue change. Great Event and will definitely be back.

  • Didn't get to see Marcus King

by Disappointed on 8/26/25North Charleston Coliseum - North CharlestonRating: 2 out of 5

We were extremely disappointed with the concert. Perhaps we didn't understand what we were buying tickets for. All we heard were several singers (related to Marcus?) of straight up country music. We came to hear the Marcus King Band that we greatly enjoy, and there was none of it.

  • Great lineup both days

by JackM on 8/26/25North Charleston Coliseum - North CharlestonRating: 5 out of 5

Marcus King Band Family Reunion delivered again this year. Amazing lineup Great choice to move the venue and all that entailed with transfering equipment and BBQ.

  • Spectacular

by Travis on 8/26/25North Charleston Coliseum - North CharlestonRating: 5 out of 5

The festival was awesome!!! All the work that went into switching venues in less than 24 hours was a miracle. Nothing was missed. From the great new artists to the true force that is The Marcus King Band. I loved every second of it. The BBQ was amazing. Tomatoes and watermelon combo was spectacular. The tacos in the Frito bags were awesome. The ribs were the best I have ever ate. We were really surprised how good the food and service was. Hats off to your crew for the effort switching venues. That’s a lot of damn work. The Marcus King Band is the greatest currently touring band hands down. I’ve been to many shows but his are phenomenal. Just a wall of sound created by the best musicians and artists in the business. We will be back next year for sure. You really have to witness Marcus King and the Marcus King Band to understand. I can’t wait to see what’s next with you guys!!! Keep rocking!!!

  • More Country than Blues

by runner on 5/14/25Avalon Theatre - Grand JunctionRating: 3 out of 5

Dog Park was a great Indie Rock Band that set the stage for Marcus. I had seen Marcus King at the same venue a couple of years ago and loved his blues / southern rock show enough to see him again This time it was mostly country with some dark ballads thrown in, not my favorite. I will pass the next time he comes to town.

  • Markus King fabulous opening band not so much

by Lucy on 5/12/25Avalon Theatre - Grand JunctionRating: 4 out of 5

Dogpark was exhausting to listen to for 40 plus minutes. Each one of the band members is quite talented! They play well together in ways but each guy is just competing to be the loudest and most noticed. I didn't want to be there anymore after them . Obviously the audience knew more than we did because the venue wasn't even half full for them . If we would have only known! Now the Markus king Band was sensational. Each and every member is so talented! I loved how there were times when keyboard was featured or lead guitar etc. so professionally compliment each other. Boy they love playing together. It was a treat .

  • Sound was terrible…

by Kennyd 12 on 5/12/25Avalon Theatre - Grand JunctionRating: 3 out of 5

I was really looking forward to this show…Dogpark, the opener, had a great set and their sound was good but not great… they did an inspired performance… However when MKB took the stage it was a spiral of playing too loud and distortion off the rails We were seated 1st row and left 3/4 into the show because of the bad sound… The Avalon Theatre is an acoustic gem and it is always a great venue to achieve good sound quality … but not on this night Really disappointed

  • Greatness

by Rick on 5/12/25Avalon Theatre - Grand JunctionRating: 5 out of 5

Marcus King and his band are A+++ musicians. I really like that they play a lot of genres well. Blues, Rock, New Country, Old Country and even Jazz. I enjoyed the concert very much. Also the venue had great acoustics. Go see the Marcus King Band.

  • Marcus King Band

    by Tay-Gun on 5/12/25Avalon Theatre - Grand JunctionRating: 5 out of 5

The Marcus King Band come to town and bring big smiles and a big sound. Their performance stands out whether at a small venue or the big stage of Red Rocks. They will take you on a musical ride that you will be ready to get back in line for the second it is over!

  • Great Band not great sound.

by timcoboss on 5/12/25Avalon Theatre - Grand JunctionRating: 3 out of 5

Watched for half the concert hoping sound would improve as the show progressed. Everything was real muddy. and his guitar had a low hum that never went away. left halfway through.

  • Marcus King Great Show

by Annie B on 4/22/25Greenfield Lake Amphitheater - WilmingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Second time seeing him and he didn’t disappoint. Small, intimate venue that can’t be matched. Great night! Opener, Dog Park was also very good!

  • Amazing artist!

by Jud on 4/22/25Greenfield Lake Amphitheater - WilmingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I can’t say enough about Greenfield Lakes the venue, but Marcus did not let us down and it was an amazing show with guest artist from North Carolina on brass!

  • Too Loud

by Ric on 4/22/25Greenfield Lake Amphitheater - WilmingtonRating: 4 out of 5

Marcus and his entire band are extremely talented musicians and put on a great show. My only complaint is that the volume was just too loud and was unnecessary. It actually detracted from the quality of the music. Seated in the front, probably 8-10 rows back the sound didn’t mix well at that volume and vocals were buried in the mix and couldn’t be heard well. Going to the far back seats and walking to my car in the last song of the encore the sound was much better. Kind of too bad as I had been looking for to this show but the excessive volume was a disappointment.

  • Excellent Musician

by Jennifer L on 4/22/25Greenfield Lake Amphitheater - WilmingtonRating: 5 out of 5

First time hearing Marcus King live. Very talented artist.

  • More than expected

by Minga on 4/21/25Ting Pavilion - CharlottesvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Marcus King was spectacular! I wasn't as familiar with him but have now found a new appreciation for his music. It's as if Chris Stapleton, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Meatloaf had a baby!

  • Marcus King

by Dave on 4/18/25Ting Pavilion - CharlottesvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Enjoyed meeting the band before the show. Nice VIP experience. The show was fantastic and we enjoyed the opening acts too.

  • Good and bad

by Plebobin on 4/18/25Montgomery Performing Arts Centre - MontgomeryRating: 3 out of 5

Marcus was good when you could hear him. Bass player was way too loud as was the keyboard. When they were all really. jamming it was a mess. Ok when it was just him or quieter songs. Cut the bass noise in half lose the keyboard and the 2 nd guitar. Less would be better.

  • Marcus King Montgomery

by Marcus fan on 4/18/25Montgomery Performing Arts Centre - MontgomeryRating: 5 out of 5

Great venue at Montgomery Performing Arts Center. So classy. Marcus was great - but surprised he didn’t play much off his newest album - especially the cover song.

  • Could have been great

by Sprat on 4/15/25Pensacola Saenger Theatre - PensacolaRating: 1 out of 5

I love the Marcus King Band. They were great as usual but, we paid $110.00 for our tickets and we were in the only seats in the theater that someone was standing up. We asked the usher to ask them to sit down they would not. We asked to be moved and there was 6 of us so no where for us to go. It was about 4 sometimes 5 people standing and they would not sit at all, so everyone behind them couldn't see a thing. We left and so did the people directly in front of us and the people all the way to the back. So there was just this weird row where everyone left. When we left we told the police that they should do something when that happens they said they could not but the artist could. I am sure that he couldn't see this was happening. I will go see him again but certainly not at this venue. Or anything else at this venue. Very disappointed about this venue and the way they handled this for us and all of the other people that left.
