Loved the costumes & humor. The music was excellent too.
Lion King was a wonderful experience. Excellent vocals and performance by all involved. My wife and I took her parents and her 12 year old sister and everyone was completely blown away by the experience. A must see when in NY.
Some consideration should be made for people that have difficulty standing due to back issues. Once line was moving into theatre it was very well organized. Good amount of room for seating. The production is massive and impressive. It is captivating from the start.
It was amazing! The music, the acting and the costumes were fabulous.
From the very start to the end ,absolutely fantastic, the best show I’ve ever seen, highly recommend.
I have always wanted to see this show for the incredible costumes. We, the costumes were definitely worth seeing. Several songs were quite good (some were so-so) and the choreography was exceptional For children, this is a must-see production - maybe a Christmas/Hannaka/Kwanza/special gift! Adults will enjoy it as well - most especially if they attend with a child (or more)!! All seats are good, too. Make sure you get there early! It's a large, modern theater but with thousands of seats. You just cannot miss the opening number - it's the best!!
My 20 year old chose this musical, which I would not have, but I was in for a treat! The costumes and puppets were so clever and of course we all know the great tunes. We attended their 9000 show, yes it has been running for 22 years, and no doubt the show will go on!
Wonderful show from start to finish. I’d recommend it to anyone heading to NYC!
Didn't grow up watching Disney movies but saw the Lion King and Aladdin at Broadway. I saw Aladdin first and thought Aladdin on Broadway was the best thing I had seen in my life (was my first Broadway show). I had heard Lion King was the best thing on Broadway and I would disagree, think Aladdin was far superior. Lion King was okay but didn't live up to expectations.
There are no words to describe the show it was just amazing the whole experience from the beginning to the end great job excellent
Loved the show, very good performance and very entertaining
The Lion King is my daughter's favorite move. She requested the soundtrack be played at her birthday party as background music as soon as we could order one. Fast forward - she is 28 and we saw it together this past Thursday, May 30th in NYC. It brought back memories and created new ones. The costumes are incredible and more than I could imagine. The entire performance - just beyond words!
I chose this as my daughter's 1st Broadway's experience as a Birthday gift for her and it was ABSOLUTELY amazing! From the beginning it grabbed our attention and kept it captive throughout the entire play. This show is a MUST SEE!!
Loved the music scores, young simba, not greatest voice, teen simba was off, seemed to be on crack, not relatable ...
The Lion King is the best show I’ve ever been, each single detail is just fantastic. I’m so glad I could attend it and it’s truly recommend no matter age. The artists, live music, scenario, costumes, and entire production are from other world.
What can I say, everything is on point The visuals, the stage, the audio effects, the songs, every single actor did an amazing job, just one of the best experiences I've seen, highly recommended
We came to New york for my 40th birthday. We saw Lion king at the minskoff theatre on Tuesday 28th May and it was jaw droppingly awesome from start to finish. A truly unforgettable experience
Went with my husband, daughter, and 8 year old granddaughter. What a beautiful experience. It was a soul cleansing musical.
Great Show. Everything about it was great. The performers, the music, the costumes, everything .
beautiful effects that take over your senses. The actors performed incredibly well. They did make a few changes to the story and did not include the "morning report" song but it was an amazing experience
