I was very disappointed. For the price of the tickets, I was expecting much more. It was just common magicians.
Wasn’t impressed at all, old tricks and easy to figure out.
My wife and I really enjoyed this performance. At one point I was laughing to the point of crying. This is an excellent show that entertains and mesmerizes all ages. I highly recommend it.
This was a very entertaining night and fast-paced with 6 different style magicians so a good variety of magic tricks. This show was very family oriented and quite funny. There was a lot of audience participation - one of the magicians asked children in the audience to be involved with his magic tricks and other magicians had adults participation. It was a fun night out.
This was a wonderful show for the entire family. There was quite a bit of variety, and it held our attention from start to finish.
They were awesome. We were so entertained. Least favorite act was the card guy. We loved the psychic and the main guy. Memorial auditorium was the big problem as you could not see very well from the way the seats are. It was a good thing there was a screen but very hard to see as it was very blurry.
My husband and I took our 6 year old grandson to the show. He had a great time-- and loved the Fox Theatre! He marveled at the ceiling. He really enjoyed all the magic acts very much.
I was expecting LESS audience participation. I really, strongly and highly suggest the magicians perform more acts on their own than having alot of audience participation.
I left 20 minutes in. My mistake apparently as this seemed for kids whereas I thought both adults & kids. Boring
Feel like a little kid again and enjoy an evening of magic and illusions that will leave you asking "how did they do that"over and over again. Great show for the entire family, with a few adult witty one-liners.
Great performances but a bit too much chatter. More magic and less babbling.
Our family enjoys magic and has attended many, many shows. This was not the best show we've attended but we definitely enjoyed it. We all liked the emcee, Steve Valentine. Hyunjoon Kim was excellent but difficult to see as his expertise is with cards and sleight of hand. The other magicians were also good. Before attending the performance I read a review that said this show was equivalent to a child's birthday party. I kept that thought in mind as I watched the show. I disagree. The show was not as wow-inducing as a LasVegas magic show but it was worth the $60 ticket. Negatives: 1) We sat about 25 rows back so we could not clearly see the stage. There was a monitor that we could see, but it should have been larger. At our distance we could not really see what Hyunjoon Kim was doing. 2) There were several times when stage lights were turned on the audience. These lights were sitting on the stage at eye level. When on, the light was blinding.
I had a personal reason for seeing the Illusionists...."The Inventor". I live near his hometown & worked on plays in our local community theater, some of which he was in, as an actor while he was in jr/sr high school! All of the performers were very good & left me wondering "how in the heck do they do that!"
I love magic and They were really good! Still Cant figure out how they did any of the tricks. Im definitely going back again if they come back
Acts were not exciting, some were silly, call children up to see a snow machine!?!?
The show was pretty awesome. I really enjoyed all of the magic that they did. Can’t wait until they come back again. I’m definitely going to see them again!
We had so much, kids loved it. We also enjoyed the adult humor. I don’t remember the last time we laughed this much. Magic show was great.
Would not see again. Was not that exciting to me personally
LOVED the show at Butler. Smaller venue made for a nice cozy show. Like the different acts as well.
We wanted to take the family to something different this year for our annual Christmas Family theatre outing. I must say we nailed it! This show was great for all ages. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend going.
