When The Fray first burst onto the scene in the early aughts, the Colorado-bred band introduced the world to a profoundly life-affirming form of alt-rock: timeless but inventive, arena-sized in scope but firmly rooted in raw emotion. Over the coming years, their soul-searching songwriting and high-powered sound led to earning four Grammy Award nominations, scoring a multitude of Billboard top 10 hits, and amassing a passionately devoted worldwide fanbase. Their single "How To Save A Life" spent a staggering 58 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the "unofficial theme song" for Grey's Anatomy. Rolling Stone praised their "stick-in-your-head hooks and eloquent narratives," while the LA Times called their music "melodically rich." The Fray's debut album How To Save A Life (2005) is certified double-platinum in the US and has been declared one of the best-selling digital debuts of all time.

very good concert! I would go to another when the come back.
I was pleasantly surprised with the two opening acts, especially Jack's mannequin. the enthusiasm displayed by their singer is hard to describe. The fray were very, very underwhelming. The acoustics were bad and very, very loud. It was hard to recognize some songs.
If I could do it again I would absolutely get tickets early enough to be in general admission, but overall it was an amazing show. I had listened to/liked a few of Jack's Mannequin's songs before seeing the show, but the day after the show I bought their album--they've got a really unique sound and live they make you want to be in the front row soooo bad. The Fray, on the other hand, was 100% enjoyable anywhere you sat! It's unbelievable how talented Isaac is and how flawless his voice is live. I love how they stay true to the way the songs are on the album as well. They don't change the songs up so much by holding out notes and changing the tune that you can't sing along :). I also really liked how humble they seemed. They put on a great show but it didn't seem like they were all about "me, me, me" like so many popular musicians are. They are truly in it for the music and to make a difference in people's lives.
I would have to say that this is one of the best concerts I have ever been to - Neese, Jack's Mannequin, and The Fray were downright amazing!
I loved Jack's Mannequin, but The Fray was boring, repetitive and forgettable. Would not see The Fray again. I hope Jack's Mannequin comes back as the headlining band, not the opening band.
I did not enjoy Jack's Mannequin. I think the stage was quite crowded and having been sitting in the pavilion, it was sad to not have a great performance they are capable of. It was not the greatest thing I have ever seen nor did I want to watch the whole thing. The beginning, middle, and end of the Fray's concert was unforgettable. The lighting and piano made the set absolutely amazing. Along with the classy piano and stage set up, you could tell they deserved to be where they are now. The collaboration of voices showed very well and the repeated encores was beautiful and left you wanting them to play all night.
Great show and too bad to those that left the Fray early cus you thought it was over. 30 minutes more!
the fray was absolutely amazing. by far the best show i've seen. nothing can top it! :)
Great concert, awesome time, no complaints at all. One of the best nights i have had.
I have been to a few concerts in my life and this one was UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING!!! They are so good and even better live, I am so happy I went and got to have a live experience of their music!
The Fray was a good concert and their music sounded great. I was they would have been a little bit more entertaining and remixed some of their songs. Every song sounded just like it was being played on the radio. My favorite part was when they played "Heartless" from Kayne West but it was like the Chris Allen version from American Idol. Overall it was a good show!
Not knowing Jack's Mannequin all that well prior to the concert, I am now a true fan and went home and dowloaded their album. The Fray was AMAZING and put a great live show. Isaac really connects with the audience and sounds great live!
Even though it took a little too long for the crew to set up between sets, and I had been standing for 5 hours, it was all worth it when the Fray came on. They put on a fantastic show and I had a really great time!!
The sound was fantastic and it was an amazing concert, even if I couldn't see the back half of the band. Our seats were slightly obstructed view, but the music was fantastic! It was high energy and good music.
The concert was absolutely wonderful! Meese was pretty good. Jack's Mannequin has a way of really pumping you up and The Fray is always amazing! Issac has the most wonderful voice ever!
OH MAN THIS WAS THE BEST CONCERT I'VE BEEN TO BY FAR.. .AND TRUST ME i HAVE BEEN TO QUITE A FEW!!!!. Both The Fray and Jack's Mannequin are both amazing to watch live. You really can feel their passion fill the room.
I had an amazing experience at The Fray concert. They were a great show to see live. Sometimes when you go to concerts they don't sound the same as on the radio but The Fray definately sounded perfect. They were very interactive and into the crowd and it was a great show to sing along to and enjoy yourself. I would recommend this to anyone who likes them!
The Fray combined with Jack's Mannequin for a night of excellent musical ability and songs that capture the heart of America was the perfect event for fans of many ages. The Fray's talent seemed endless throughout the night with amazing vocals, outstanding stage presence, and brilliant showcases of new and past hits by the band. The set list was clearly something both bands had worked hard on and they did a great job of mixing new songs with old ones, and slow songs with upbeat ones. Overall, it was a night of enjoyment with two endlessly talented bands.
This was my first concert at the Target center, and it was extremely pleasant! All the directions found within the center were very helpful & the layout was clearly marked - making seating very very easy!! The show itself was amazing! Meese, a band I had never even heard of before, sounded excellent & I am planning on checking out their album too! Jack's Mannequin was AWESOME!! The energy that the band had was contagious, and their songs are, of course, very fun and got the crowd pumped!! The Fray had the most AMAZING light show! It was brilliant how they incoporated the feel of the songs to the visual effects around the band! The whole experience was unforgettable & I look forward to going to another concert at the Target Center again! ^_^
I'm not much for the concert scene, but my admiration for the Fray--and very reasonable ticket prices--was enough of an enticement for me to assemble a trio of friends and brave rush hour traffic and rabid fans. By the evening's end, I was certainly glad I had! The Fray was preceded by Meese (solid, if a little forgettable) and Jack's Mannequin (I was a fan by the end of their set, and bitterly regretting my decision not to purchase one of their t-shirts prior to the show.) The Fray was nothing short of incredible, and it didn't take the band long to convince me that their talent is refreshingly independent of the recording studio. The setlist was a satisfying mixture of tracks from "How to Save a Life" and "The Fray" (though I would have liked to hear "Heaven Forbid" live.) From the cheerfully rousing "She Is" to the wistful "Happiness," the Fray delivers an absorbing, emotionally charged evening that never ceases to be entertaining.
