About

When The Fray first burst onto the scene in the early aughts, the Colorado-bred band introduced the world to a profoundly life-affirming form of alt-rock: timeless but inventive, arena-sized in scope but firmly rooted in raw emotion. Over the coming years, their soul-searching songwriting and high-powered sound led to earning four Grammy Award nominations, scoring a multitude of Billboard top 10 hits, and amassing a passionately devoted worldwide fanbase. Their single "How To Save A Life" spent a staggering 58 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the "unofficial theme song" for Grey's Anatomy. Rolling Stone praised their "stick-in-your-head hooks and eloquent narratives," while the LA Times called their music "melodically rich." The Fray's debut album How To Save A Life (2005) is certified double-platinum in the US and has been declared one of the best-selling digital debuts of all time.

They had great energy and roped the crowd into their set. They sound amazing, I had never been to one of their concerts and I’m so grateful I was able to experience this.

  • One of the best!

We had the pleasure of meeting The Fray at the M&G, and they were incredibly kind and generous. Despite us almost missing the event, they were patient and accommodating, allowing us to take multiple pictures with them. They didn’t seem rushed, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The concert itself was one of the best I’ve ever attended. The intimate setting of a smaller venue added to the overall experience. The band’s live performance was incredible, and I can’t help but wonder if there’s a way to justify seeing them again.

  • Disappointed

by Kat on 7/28/25South Side Ballroom - DallasRating: 2 out of 5

Openers started at 7. It was general admission without seating so really sad that they didn’t start until 9; audience was standing for two hours to hear them play. Band was great but venue was awful. Crowded and an uncomfortable way to listen to one of my favorite bands. Truly think they could sell out a better venue.

They managed to keep the concert very upbeat and entertaining despite the nature of their music. The crowd was friendly and respectful. Amazing concert!

But was able to get floor seats for Fray concert and he had a great time and really enjoyed the concert as did I . It was awesome !! It means alot when you can take a person who has a disability out and have a great time !! Thanks to the band and Bristol casino for having a great setup !! Have been letting people know there is this place to go if you have a disability or are in a wheelchair !!

We did the meet and greet experience and the band was so nice. We ended up in the front row and had a great concert experience. Would highly recommend seeing The Fray live!

  • A little hard to understand

by Kate on 5/13/25The Blue Note - ColumbiaRating: 4 out of 5

It was super cool getting to see the Fray live! I didn’t think I ever would! However, the mics either needed to be a little louder or the instruments a little quieter. I had a hard time understanding/hearing the words and I only knew about half of the songs well enough to know the words.

  • I love the Fray!

by Alan on 5/2/25Rating: 5 out of 5

I got the opportunity to watch The Fray at The Charleston Music Hall back in April. This is one of my all time favorite bands, so believe me I was thrilled when they cam here to play. Isaac and Joe performed like the true rockstars that the are. If they come back you better believe I will be there. Thanks for one incredible night

  • Awesome evening

by Debbie on 4/29/25Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races - Charles TownRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was wonderful! I think it showed that everyone is rooting for Joe. He really responds to the crowd. I like how appreciative he is of his fans. It is hard to move into the lead singer position, but Joe did not disappoint. His voice was strong even on the harder songs. Since seeing them in October, they added 2 members to the band. I thought they were a great addition. Ben and Dave continue to shine as well. The Fray is definitely back. I would go see them again in a minute.

  • Music amazing, the seating was chaotic..!!

by Joansete on 4/29/25Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races - Charles TownRating: 4 out of 5

Concert in general was AMAZING, great Band, awesome Sound...!!! Just because the seats were on a flat area, as soon as one of the people in the front stands up...everyone stands up; so we were kind of upset with that, but in general was a Great Show..!!!

  • Fantastic Show!! Didn't want it to end!

The Fray were energetic from the start of the show until the end. Really impressive performance and I wish I could go again!

  • Best performance ever!

by Wendi on 4/27/25The Ritz - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been to hundreds of concerts and this was the best!! The Fray’s music is awesome and their stage presence is on point. I saw them at Koka Booth in 2007 and so glad to see they are back on tour. The venue was sold out and the fans were all ages!! Glad to see folks who were very small when The Fray was at their peak enjoying their music!!

  • Amazing

It was such a good show. The lead singer went into the crowd and was such a great performer. I loved all the guitar switches before each song
