This was a good event however the amount of people there who started fights was a little scary. I wish I would have known a schedule before hand because the opening bands were not very good. The Fray did an awesome job and the venue had a good set up

About
When The Fray first burst onto the scene in the early aughts, the Colorado-bred band introduced the world to a profoundly life-affirming form of alt-rock: timeless but inventive, arena-sized in scope but firmly rooted in raw emotion. Over the coming years, their soul-searching songwriting and high-powered sound led to earning four Grammy Award nominations, scoring a multitude of Billboard top 10 hits, and amassing a passionately devoted worldwide fanbase. Their single "How To Save A Life" spent a staggering 58 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the "unofficial theme song" for Grey's Anatomy. Rolling Stone praised their "stick-in-your-head hooks and eloquent narratives," while the LA Times called their music "melodically rich." The Fray's debut album How To Save A Life (2005) is certified double-platinum in the US and has been declared one of the best-selling digital debuts of all time.

Amazing concert. I will never forget it.
by Bridgeeeeeeee on 7/15/14Festival Pier (at Penn's Landing) - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5Radio 104.5 puts on the best concerts! I loved this one and cannot wait for the next block party. I had an amazing night and am beyond happy I attended. Thank you so much Radio 104.5, keep it up!!!
Good show.
by Richcur725 on 7/15/14Festival Pier (at Penn's Landing) - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5We had seen Neon Trees before and like their new album. We had planned to see the show at the Piazza when announced and were happy to get the tickets for free. We enjoyed the show, but not sure we would have gone had we had to pay for tickets and fees. Thanks to Radio 104.5 we were able to see a good show at a reduced price. Both main acts were good and we would recommend seeing them. BTW - the DJ spinning between acts was really good.
Neon Trees was amazing!
by Cgerhart on 7/15/14Festival Pier (at Penn's Landing) - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5I think the show was amazing but it was fairly long and by the time Neon Trees came on everyone was tired.
Great Night
by Mimsy215 on 7/15/14Festival Pier (at Penn's Landing) - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5Overall a great night. I'm a big fan of The Fray so seeing them in person was an awesome experience even though the song selection was alittle dissapointing. I was actually surprised how great Neon Trees was, they are an awesome group to see play live! Overall the concert was in my opinion a success and we'll worth the $27 I paid for the ticket. And of course the venue was great as Festival Pier always is.
Went for The Fray but was blown away by Neon Trees
by foodasaurus on 7/15/14Festival Pier (at Penn's Landing) - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5The Fray sounded good live but were pretty low energy and mellow. Didn't know most of Neon Tree's songs but they were amazing live. Very high energy, very in tune with the crowd. Would definitely go to see them again.

Awesome concert. I always love The Fray but Neon Trees were very good. They sounded very good live. Tylor seems like a humble artist and loves to entertain. Had a great time.
The Fray Turn Trees Neon
by Anonymous on 7/15/14Festival Pier (at Penn's Landing) - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5Got to the event late but was still able to see The Fray and Neon Trees put on a hell of a show! Nice venue. Awesome atmosphere. Good people. Definitely recommend.
The FRAY was awesome!
by samismells on 7/15/14JBL Live at Pier 97 - Hudson River Park New YorkRating: 4 out of 5The FRAY show with opening act Oh Honey! and Barcelona was amazing! It is a great venue for a show and despite a brief rain shower, it was great MUSIC! Fray did some old songs along with new, perfect MIX! They also had new light show that they did not have last time we saw them at the Paramount, in Feb.
Fray and Neon Trees
by HailingRoses on 7/15/14Festival Pier (at Penn's Landing) - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5Hype and intesity of bands was awesome! Wide range of people. Beware extremely wasted drinkers/ big guys almost falling on you. Very fun atmosphere and nice band leads. Too much people drinking however. 1 or 2 almost fight about standing in spots. But overall very fun energetic time that lasts late.
Neon Trees was Too Loud
by Anonymous on 7/15/14Festival Pier (at Penn's Landing) - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5Let me begin by saying that I truly enjoy loud music. With that said the first 3 band's sound level was comfortably loud but Neon Trees left my ears ringing long into the next day. There's no reason for that decibel level. With that said, I truly enjoy both the Fray and Neon Trees. They both put on quite a show.

I love The Fray, so I don't have anything bad to say about the performance. It was nice to also hear from some local and up-and-coming bands as the opening acts. I was hoping The Fray would be able to play more songs, but I understand they had to stick to the schedule. My only complaint was about the venue itself. I tried to look up reviews about it ahead of time since I had never been there before, and there was a mix of good and bad. All I can say is it wasn't as bad as people made it seem, but it wasn't stellar either. Overally, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and would attend this event again!
Block party
by Azisa on 7/15/14Festival Pier (at Penn's Landing) - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5The event started out slow and a little bit boring, but it needed up being great! The Fray and Neon Trees were amazing and extremely energetic. And the crowd wasn't so bad either! I met a lot of cool people, and had an amazing time with my best friends. I'm definitely going to the next one.

The Fray & Neon Trees Classic
by Lahnee on 7/15/14Festival Pier (at Penn's Landing) - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5This is the 5th time I've seen The Fray live and they haven't disappointed me yet. Neon Trees had great energy and really kept the crowd engaged. The outdoor venue was a perfect setting for the weather and the opening bands really did a great job getting the crowd hyped for the headliners

great show! The Fray started awfully late (show said it started at 6:45, and the Fray didn't come on (up first, before Neon Trees) until 8:40. That's a bit too late to sit around. Otherwise, no complaints whatsoever!

The Fray did an amazing job, O Honey was another good band that played as well.
The Fray & Neon Trees put on an awesome show
by SC350Z on 7/15/14Festival Pier (at Penn's Landing) - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5Every artist this night was amazing. Great stage presence all around, minimum waiting time between acts. The Festival Pier venue is very spacious as well, with a huge stage, and lighting.
