About

When The Fray first burst onto the scene in the early aughts, the Colorado-bred band introduced the world to a profoundly life-affirming form of alt-rock: timeless but inventive, arena-sized in scope but firmly rooted in raw emotion. Over the coming years, their soul-searching songwriting and high-powered sound led to earning four Grammy Award nominations, scoring a multitude of Billboard top 10 hits, and amassing a passionately devoted worldwide fanbase. Their single "How To Save A Life" spent a staggering 58 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the "unofficial theme song" for Grey's Anatomy. Rolling Stone praised their "stick-in-your-head hooks and eloquent narratives," while the LA Times called their music "melodically rich." The Fray's debut album How To Save A Life (2005) is certified double-platinum in the US and has been declared one of the best-selling digital debuts of all time.

This was our second Concert with the Fray, after a small Clubconcert in Cologne in March. Again they delivered a great show..

  • Great concert, great venue

by frankipants on 7/21/14JBL Live at Pier 97 - Hudson River Park New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Event though there was a down pour we still stayed - we enjoyed the venue, sound was great and ofcourse the bands were pretty good too. We didn't use the facilities so can't comment, but the venue was pretty easy to get to. For the Wine/Beer - maybe someone could be walking the lines checking IDs and giving wrist bands so that it doesn't slow the ordering queue. Also you ran out of beer and the main event hadn't even started :( Good concert all in all - we will be heading back to the venue for Lorde

Second time I've seen The Fray in concert and they never let me down. Great concert and amazing performance. They played a good combination of their new album and their older ones. Loved it and will definitely see them again when they are back in town

  • The Fray is amazing!!!!

by Anonymous on 7/18/14Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 4 out of 5

The Fray was amazing! They are so talented! They each played multiple instruments and their voices sound perfect together. They are very fun and entertaining. Red Hat Amphitheater was a small outside venue that was nice, since it didn't rain, but something was off with the sound. It was hard to hear their voices at sometimes because the music overpowered them. Also, there was no covering at all, so if it had rained, it would have been very unfortunate.

  • Red Hat Ampitheater

Such a fantastic show! These guys are truly talented!! The show itself was amazing, I've never seen lights put to use in such an interactive way. I had the best night and it was honestly an unforgettable performance.

  • Fray is super entertainment

    by g19generation4 on 7/17/14Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

Band was tight, music superb. The guys had a great time playing to the audience in Raleigh, and had not been here in a while. Combined some oldie favs with new music. Just a great time to hear the entire audience sing lyric for lyric!

The Fray was absolutely AMAZING. I would see them a million times over. Neon Trees was fantastic too, but they didn't play my favorite song...so I was a little bummed. Overall awesome concert though and totally worth the money!

The Fray, Barcelona, and Oh Honey performing on July 14th at Raleigh NC's Red Hat Amphitheater provided a wonderful evening. Access to the getting into and out of the venue was smooth. People were friendly. Music was terrific!

  • The Fray was an A+ experience

by Kittylovefray on 7/17/14Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

The band members explained their story of how they formed, they came out into the audience, had lots of energy, and were extremely nice. Great time

  • The Fray is great live!

    by KJMB05 on 7/17/14Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 4 out of 5

I've always loved their songs, and actually hearing them play my favorite songs live is even better. They don't do a lot of talking (I wonder if it's because the city of Raleigh has a curfew for concerts held at Red Hat - I know, what a bummer) but they sure do a lot of playing. Their opening acts Oh Honeys and Barcelona were pretty impressive too. Highly recommended.

Great show! My first time at Red Hat and I loved that it wasn't overly crowded and that parking was so easy:)

  • Lots of energy

Enthusiastic performers and crowd. Not the greatest musicians on the block but they really put their hearts into the performance.

  • The Fray is amazing!

Saw them in St Paul MN. They put on a great show. Walking out I heard a lot of people say it was one of the best concerts they had been to. Vocals are amazing!!! Love all of their new music! One of my favorite bands!

  • Great concert and great price!!

by Anonymous on 7/15/14Festival Pier (at Penn's Landing) - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5

I didn't expect much of this concert because the tickets were so cheap, but it ended up being amazing! I'm not a big follower of either of the bands, but I listen to music lots of music in the genres. The Fray was very good live and Neon Trees was even better! Neon Trees were great performers and really got the crowd to have fun. I would definitely recommend this concert to anyone.

  • The Fray and Neon Trees

by Hatesmakingupnicknames on 7/15/14Festival Pier (at Penn's Landing) - PhiladelphiaRating: 3 out of 5

The music was fantastic! I even enjoyed the warm-up bands. The event was fun with vendors with giveaways and souvenirs for sale. The weather was perfect. We got to the concert early so we had a great view. What made the experience lose two stars was the number of ignorant, entitled attendees who felt it was their god-given right to be up front, even though they arrived late. I and everyone near me were pushed almost constantly throughout the show. News flash - if you are saying, "excuse me" while pushing people, you are proving that you know you are rude.

  • Amazing Show

by RNRJESS on 7/15/14Festival Pier (at Penn's Landing) - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

The Fray impressed me. Isaac was awesome with the Piano. They got a new fan. Neon Trees WOW! Tyler one of the best frontman. The group's sound and persona was delightfully heard & felt. The full summer moon put a glow over the concert.
