About

THE FAB FOUR IN CONCERT:

You know the saying: if it walks like a Beatle, if it talks like a Beatle...it must be The Fab Four, the world's foremost Beatles tribute band. The California-based quartet have been reviving Beatlemania with their spot-on impersonations for over 12 years, and practice has made perfect — the band's tours consistently satisfy the Beatle-shaped hole in fans' souls, drawing rave reviews for their extensively researched, down-to-the-mannerisms enactments of late great band's legendary live concerts. The Fab Four continue to carry on The Beatles' legacy in 2014, hitting the road with their beloved show on a string of North American tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Founded in 1997 by John Lennon impersonator Ron McNeil, The Fab Four spent their early days touring Southern California and playing regular shows at Disneyland. As the band's reputation grew, they landed an increasing number of high-profile gigs, including a headlining slot at Liverpool's annual Beatleweek in 2004 and a residency in Vegas from 2005-2008. Since then, the band has taken their show around the world, keeping the memory of John, Paul, George, and Ringo alive and rocking.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"What a great performance. It was like we were actually watching and listening to the Beatles live.”

"If you like The Beatles' music, and who doesn't, you owe it to yourself to see this band. They talk like The Beatles, they sing like The Beatles, they look like The Beatles, and  they play like The Beatles."

"Took my 11 y/o son who is the biggest Beatles fan I know to see the Fab Four in Reading, PA. I felt like I was watching THE Beatles live in 2013! They sounded spot on & I loved how they got the crowd involved in the show."

  • TRULY, The Greatest Concert That Never Was

by Terryfab on 7/25/11The Pacific Amphitheatre - Costa MesaRating: 5 out of 5

NON STOP GREAT MUSIC AND IMPERSONATIONS OF THE LEAD PEOPLE IN EACH BAND. The ending with both bands competing against each other was great.

  • What a Great Time!

by WWolvesLondon on 7/25/11The Pacific Amphitheatre - Costa MesaRating: 5 out of 5

What a lively, fun, enthusiastic concert this was! The Fab Four worked really hard to look and sound like the Beatles and succeeded! Lots of interaction with the audience and a really great sound! I feel like I've finally SEEN the Beatles in concert! The Rolling Stones were pretty good, although "Mick Jagger" didn't have all the songs down exactly as we know them from albums and the radio. Still, they did all the big hits, and people were dancing and singing at the tops of their lungs to all of the songs by both groups. It was really, really fun. I would highly recommend this concert to anyone who wants to "see" either of these groups. Every word was understandable, and every song was recognizable and performed well. Great Concert!

  • The Fab Four and Jumping Jack Flash were fantastic

by HiLy on 7/25/11The Pacific Amphitheatre - Costa MesaRating: 5 out of 5

We had a blast. Really liked the format, switching off the bands. Great idea. The Pac Amp is always a great venue. Small enough you can't really go wrong with any seat.

  • Glee - Invasion style

by Traillmix on 7/25/11The Pacific Amphitheatre - Costa MesaRating: 5 out of 5

This was an incredibly fun show. Although both bands played a "mini" setlist due to the time restrictions, it appeared that everyone in the audience was having a great time singing along with them. Jumping Jack Flash is the best Rolling Stone tribute band I have ever seen.

by Kabiasi on 7/25/11Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

I had heard good reviews from their Las Vegas Shows years back, but was stunned by their performance last Friday @ Humphrey's. The resemblance was also amazing, though I remember the Beatles being a little taller. For the most part ....AMAZING !

  • Amazing and Fun

by 1Sol on 7/25/11Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was amazing, people enjoyed the moment. Everybody was singing along, the song were perfect and Ed Sullivan was incredible and very funny. I think a lot of people remember the 60's and also my 15 son was happy to live this experience.

  • Fab Four was right on

  • Fab Four at Humphrey's

by Lovepooh on 7/24/11Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

Better than the other Tribute groups. Look and sound more real. Humphrey's is the BEST venue for any concert. Casual crowd, great scenery, perfect atmosphere, no "rif-raf" in the audience. Thanks to the event staff. Fab Four are the greatest. Never a dull moment. Will definately see them again!!

Unfortunately I was to young to see the Beatles live but this was a great show. Would have like to hear more songs, Let it be and others. Also, the length of the concert was short considering the cost per ticket.

This Beatles tribute band provided an evening of great entertainment. They do an amazing job of imitating the voices, characteristics, and appearance of the Beatles during three stages of the band's evolution. Every song is, of course, well known and they play and sing them perfectly. All on all, an evening of great fun.

  • Let Me take You Down

by 44BB on 7/24/11Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

Great concert from great musicians (no tracks, etc). I have seen other tribute bans, but on one compares to the Fab Four! They are the absolute best Beatles Tribute band! If you close you eyes, you would think you are listening to the actual Beatles circa 1964 -1970. They have the exact Beatles mannerisms, clothes and stage presence to compliment their musicianship! Loved the "Ed Sullivan" impersonator too! Totally affordable & enjoyable show! I plan on seeing them the next time they are through the San Diego area!

  • Good, not great/

by SoCalBob on 7/24/11Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San DiegoRating: 3 out of 5

The Fab Four have the Beatles look and sound down pat, though in some ways too pat. Using classic Beatles quotes ("those of you in the cheap seats, clap your hands. The rest of you just rattle your jewelery", etc.) between songs - sorry, that's a little too much., and it felt forced. But, when they stuck to the music, it was quite good. The band had a bit of trouble getting the crowd into it - but that wasn't really their fault, as I've seen other bands at Humfrey's have the same problem. Humpfrey's seems to have a noise ordinance they have to adhere to.. and while I'm not into bands being louder than a 747 taking off, being able to hold a conversation at normal volume while the band's playing means the band isn't loud enough. The Fab Four also employed an Ed Sullivan impersonator to introduce them and do shtick when the band was off stage doing a costume change. It didn't work... the guy's Sullivan was OK at best, and his routine was decidedly not funny. As the music was the best part of the night, I'd like to see these guys again at a different venue where they could turn up a bit. Right now, I'd rank them behind Rain as far as Beatles tribute bands go - but with the volume restriction, the crowd never got completely into the show, so it may not have been a fair test.

  • I went back to the 60's

by Rawbin on 7/24/11Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

Most of us who enjoy music, know the Beatles. I was taken back in time when they started to play. They look like them, sound, like them and preform like the Beatles. I would go as far as to say, If you've never seen or heard the original Beatls, the Fab Four fill their shoes no question about it. They have the voices, the moves, the outfits, everything down to perfection. I knew every word to every song, it was so much fun. The crowd got into, it is a show I recommend to all ages...Great Fun!

  • Fab Four deliver, again!

by MissyandBrady on 7/24/11Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

My family and I have seen the Fab Four perform many times over the years and continue to be amazed at how good they sound. I can't tell you how many Beatles tribute bands we have watched, but none compare to the Fab Four. Ron, Ardy, Gavin, and Erik are true professionals, and it doesn't hurt to have fellow cast members Michael Amador and Rolo Sandoval working their magic with the sound!! Great job lads!!

  • The Fab Four were great

by captaindon1 on 7/9/11Amphitheater at The Wharf - Orange BeachRating: 5 out of 5

I really enjoyed the Fab Four in concert at the Wharf Amphitheatre in Orange Beach, Alabama. The music, the sound, the appearance was awesome. They did great songs from the beginning of the Beatles era to the end. Orange Beach, Al was very fortunate to have these talented musicians perform. I loved it.
