THE FAB FOUR IN CONCERT:
You know the saying: if it walks like a Beatle, if it talks like a Beatle...it must be The Fab Four, the world's foremost Beatles tribute band. The California-based quartet have been reviving Beatlemania with their spot-on impersonations for over 12 years, and practice has made perfect — the band's tours consistently satisfy the Beatle-shaped hole in fans' souls, drawing rave reviews for their extensively researched, down-to-the-mannerisms enactments of late great band's legendary live concerts. The Fab Four continue to carry on The Beatles' legacy in 2014, hitting the road with their beloved show on a string of North American tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Founded in 1997 by John Lennon impersonator Ron McNeil, The Fab Four spent their early days touring Southern California and playing regular shows at Disneyland. As the band's reputation grew, they landed an increasing number of high-profile gigs, including a headlining slot at Liverpool's annual Beatleweek in 2004 and a residency in Vegas from 2005-2008. Since then, the band has taken their show around the world, keeping the memory of John, Paul, George, and Ringo alive and rocking.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"What a great performance. It was like we were actually watching and listening to the Beatles live.”
"If you like The Beatles' music, and who doesn't, you owe it to yourself to see this band. They talk like The Beatles, they sing like The Beatles, they look like The Beatles, and they play like The Beatles."
"Took my 11 y/o son who is the biggest Beatles fan I know to see the Fab Four in Reading, PA. I felt like I was watching THE Beatles live in 2013! They sounded spot on & I loved how they got the crowd involved in the show."

Attending The Fab Four concert was like going back in time to experience the best of the British Invasion. Every song was great, and the execution was spot on. Can't wait until next time. I'll be wearing my Fab Four tee shirt, that I got at the concert, waiting for their return.
Very talented, very true to the Beatles in both voice and instrumentals.. Would see them again..
Highly recommended show! Many of the over 200 Beatles songs were played with excellence. I think the drummer has more talent than Ringo. Even though I don’t agree with the theme of “Imagine,” by “John,” it was performed very well and portrayed in his persona with uncanny accuracy. “Paul” had the characteristic vibratory head shaking from side to side executed perfectly. I would love to hear the real Mr McCartney’s comments on this young lad’s performance. They are all from the US but spoke with British accents for realism. My wife and I had a wonderful time warped evening as we briefly jettisoned back to the 60’s.
The Fab Four always provide a great show. The music and vocals are spot on, and they truly capture the 'character' they're portraying. The banter is fun as is watching them interact with each other. The show included a performance of the album "Meet the Beatles"which includes songs you won't typically hear. Good stuff! The Ed Sullivan impersonator is also fun and he definitely adds to the experience! You can't miss with the Fab Four!
Was a fantastic evening, it’s a Must see performance!!!
Had a great time the ushers were very helpful. Terrific sound system the third four were unbelievable.
Absolutely the best concert we have been to!!! The Fab Four and fantastic!!!
Celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary with The Fab Four. What a show! Like seeing the Beatles for the first time. Loved how authentic the band was and the variety within the show. Ed Sullivan impersonator was great too. So creative. All eras of the Beatles experience. A friend from Cheshire praised the authenticity of The Fab Four after seeing my video clips. If you’re a Beatles fan or ever wondered about the Beatles, you need to see The Fab Four! Symphony Hall was a great venue too!
Loved the concert. Saw one a few years that the Atlanta symphony played with a Beatles group. It was fabulous. Would love to hear that again!!
So I have to start off with the torrential rain we ran through to get to the theater. It was my first time at this little theater and so it wasn't sure what to expect. A little underwhelming, but the people were great and it made up for the old theater. There was a lot of character inside the building, and the bathrooms lol, and a small enough venue to feel cozy and personable. The chairs might have been a little bit more comfortable but I was hardly in my seat so it's okay. The only thing I would have to say is it wasn't loud enough. Been to many theaters and many shows, and the sound just wasn't loud enough. The show by the Fab Four was amazing, including the host who I later found out had gone through a traumatic loss a few months back. The fact that he was out there doing the best imitation of Ed Sullivan, and a little Nixon too lol, was incredible. The guys are absolutely amazing at what they do. The best Beatles tribute band out there. I've seen them several times, and it was nice to see him in a different venue that was a little more personable because of the size. In a larger venue it is amazing also maybe because of the acoustics as in the mountain winery, but I was having the time of my life and got a few fist bumps from the band members on stage. They really know how to get the room going. I love every single one of them and even the little mini that came out at the end of the show in full character, the son of one of the band members, and he was the most adorable thing I've ever seen. The concession stand would have been great if it had alcohol but I understand if it didn't have a liquor license. The guy running the concession stand was the kindest, and most happiest guy. The people ushering and helping were very sweet and not judgmental or rude or anything but a pleasure. The one thing I would have done differently, is put the band merchandise at the front near the guitar because we had no idea that there was any to be bought because it was blocked by the massive line to the women's restroom during the break. Even a poster would have been great to direct us to or show where merchandise was being sold. Sad thing is they only took cash so I couldn't even buy anything. Would I come back to this theater? Yes, the people are what make it. Don't change it, because it seems like a little bit of history for Santa Cruz. And as for the Fab Four, I can't wait to see them again.
This was a great show. It was well staged with great song selection. I would have liked to have had a few more songs. My wife's favorite of Blackbird and she was disappointed they did not play it.
The Fab Four were wonderful, great musicians, funny, interactive, they did their best. "Ed Sullivan"was great! Amusing and did a fun imitation of Ed. But the sound system was unbalanced as we could not hear the vocals very well over the percussion and other instruments. I think even the young man who was John Lennon could not hear himself very well as he kept putting his hands over his ears. The lighting was annoying as the pinkish light shined right into our eyes. The light show, in our opinion, was not necessary. It detracted from the show. All in all, we always enjoy the Fab Four shows, just this time the sound was off and it detracted from the show.
Great music played by talented musicians at a wonderful venue; we had a super fun night! We have seen Black Jacket Orchestra for several shows now and they never disappoint!
When you buy tickets for a Beatles tribute band, you expect to see them performing the most popular of their hits, specially when the show opens making references to 1964, and “Ed Sullivan” presents them. Alas, no luck. Only 5 or 6 of their greatest hits in a two-hour show. I feel let down and so did my group.

It was fun, the artists did great job singing and amazing voices that resembled the Beatles. Though it was a bit corny and silly as well. Overall fun night but not worth 50$ a ticket!
If you have not seen the Fab Four and like the Beatles, you need to. Excellent concert with some unexpected elements added to make the concert even more enjoyable. Excellent musicians as well excellent vocals. Can’t wait to see them again next year!
Overall an ok experience. On a positive note the band sounded good when they were playing, but sort of lame when the two band members were trying to imitate Lennon and McCartney’s accents. Also, the breaks between sets was too long. Probably the best part of the show was the comedian. Not worth the money.
This is the third time we've seen them in person. I know there are a number of individuals who play the parts and at least three of them were different than what we've seen before. Still an excellent performance would definitely go back for more.
