About

THE FAB FOUR IN CONCERT:

You know the saying: if it walks like a Beatle, if it talks like a Beatle...it must be The Fab Four, the world's foremost Beatles tribute band. The California-based quartet have been reviving Beatlemania with their spot-on impersonations for over 12 years, and practice has made perfect — the band's tours consistently satisfy the Beatle-shaped hole in fans' souls, drawing rave reviews for their extensively researched, down-to-the-mannerisms enactments of late great band's legendary live concerts. The Fab Four continue to carry on The Beatles' legacy in 2014, hitting the road with their beloved show on a string of North American tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Founded in 1997 by John Lennon impersonator Ron McNeil, The Fab Four spent their early days touring Southern California and playing regular shows at Disneyland. As the band's reputation grew, they landed an increasing number of high-profile gigs, including a headlining slot at Liverpool's annual Beatleweek in 2004 and a residency in Vegas from 2005-2008. Since then, the band has taken their show around the world, keeping the memory of John, Paul, George, and Ringo alive and rocking.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"What a great performance. It was like we were actually watching and listening to the Beatles live.”

"If you like The Beatles' music, and who doesn't, you owe it to yourself to see this band. They talk like The Beatles, they sing like The Beatles, they look like The Beatles, and  they play like The Beatles."

"Took my 11 y/o son who is the biggest Beatles fan I know to see the Fab Four in Reading, PA. I felt like I was watching THE Beatles live in 2013! They sounded spot on & I loved how they got the crowd involved in the show."

  • Fab Four were Fab

by Gail on 11/14/24Majestic Theatre Dallas - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent show. Loved the added entertainment of Ed Sullivan performer. He brought us right back to the wonderful 60’s with his banter and funny stories. All four fellas showed a remarkable likeness both sight and sound. My favorite, “Imagine” brought tears to my eyes. Fantastic theatre for this venue. Plan to get tickets the next time they are in town.

  • Great music as Usual

    by Bubba-n-Pat on 11/13/24Majestic Theatre Dallas - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

The wife & I have been watching the Fab 4 since catching them many years ago in Vegas with the original 4. The show is always great. Since the expansion of having more than one performing group, of the 4, on many occasions, I can spot the alternates, which are not quite as precise as the original 4. None the less, the show was still great, especially Ed! Would like to see them playing more Beatle's songs that were not necessarily released as singles or on the charts i.e.; "I'll Get You", In My Life, etc."Pass it on..... GREAT SHOW!

  • Did I see the Beatles?

These guys have it down exactly, mannerisms, talking voices, etc…. The singing and playing sounded just like the albums!!!

The Fab Four put on a great show at the beautiful Majestic Theater in Dallas, Texas! Loved all the songs - at times felt like I was back in the 60’s! “John Lennon” in the white suit - wow - looked just like the real John Lennon!! Ed Sullivan - great job and made the show even greater!!

  • Not a good evening.

by Fab Four @ HOB. on 11/11/24House of Blues New Orleans - New OrleansRating: 2 out of 5

The musicians were pretty good. Song selection left a lot to be desired. Skipped from semi early songs to Sgt. Pepper. This is the fourth Beatle tribute band I have seen in the last year or so and clearly the bottom of the bunch. There was a Ed Sullivan impersonator who ate up at least 40 minutes of the 90 minute show telling jokes etc. I did not pay to see an Ed Sullivan look alike ramble on and on. There was no encore. Costume changes were good. Band equipment on stage were not real Vox amps ( I have been a bass player since the sixties) but fake cutaways with a modern amp behind the deception. All of the other tribute bands used real vintage amplifiers and instruments. Also the drum set arrangement never changed as the music progressed as did the other three bands I saw. The music and show was alright but WAY too short! I would not pay to see this again.

  • Fab Four-A truly great show.

by 60s Guy on 11/6/24Palace of Fine Arts - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

The Fab Four, Meet the Beatles Album show is great fun. The guys really capture the excitement of the Beatles with their excellent recreations of all those great songs. A nice tribute to John was touching. I encourage all Beatles fans to catch the Fab Four program Great fun!

  • 'The Beatles Lite' concert review

by Crazy Codger on 11/5/24Palace of Fine Arts - San FranciscoRating: 3 out of 5

The Concert felt more like a stage show than a music concert. The sound was clear and volume was acceptable, but the comedian playing Ed Sullivan was a distraction of the events authenticity. His humor was weak. The show should have run longer for the cost of tickets we paid. My eldest Son & I expected more rockin' out going on. It felt pretty generic and geriatric. I will do more research before attending this type of cover band event again. No complaints, I just like realism. Cheers to staff and Band Members

  • Fabulous Four

by Rick P on 11/5/24Palace of Fine Arts - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

They were awesome again! The music the costumes the banter even Ed Sullivan was entertaining. The crowd was into it. The best part was an evening of live Beatles music. I’ll be there next year.

  • fantastic evening!

by JB on 11/5/24Palace of Fine Arts - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

It was so much fun having the Fab Four entertain us. Basically three sets covering the Meet the Beatles era, Sgt Pepper, and general hits. Very entertaining and lots of audience participation! Very authentic costuming. Only wish they played more than a few songs from Sgt Pepper and played some from the Rubber Soul/Revolver, and more than one George song! Perhaps they rotate their song choices?

  • Truly a Beatles Tribute

by AnitaC on 10/30/24The Egyptian Theatre - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

I loved the Fab Four's concert and tribute to the Beatles! It was beyond my expectations for sounding authentic. I marvel at the talent of those young men and the amount of work they have put into perfecting the Sound. The only drawback was the venue. The Egyptian Theatre in Boise is old; it is not well-marked in the lobby to assist attendees entering at the correct door and I heard others complain about the same thing. The seats also left something to be desired for us old folks with rickety knees. But it wasn't bad enough to detract from the overall rating. Loved it and would go to see them again!

I really enjoyed it. And ED Sullivan did an excellent job. The music was great..Thank you!

  • nice show if you love the Beatles

by ducky124 on 10/20/24Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair - WestburyRating: 4 out of 5

I have seen all the top Beatles tribute bands over the years and these guys rank right up there with the best. The costumes were fun and the music spot on. I even enjoyed the comedian doing the Ed Sullivan routine. I only have one small complaint. They did too much talking between some songs. I would much rather have heard more music. So because of this I give it 4/5.

  • great show!

by Dee on 10/20/24Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair - WestburyRating: 5 out of 5

Thoroughly enjoyed the show. Loved reliving the the Ed Sullivan show and the old commercials. Brought back a lot of memories. I thought that was great. Our favorite part of the show was when they changed into the Sgt. Pepper outfits. I thought they were outstanding the second half. Teared up when they had "George"do his bit and the photos they were showing and again when "John"sang Imagine. Would see them again for sure.

  • Dont Waste Your Money!

by Never Again! on 10/20/24Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair - WestburyRating: 1 out of 5

Not impressed - Short 2 hour show with more of the Ed Sullivan impersonator and commercials than playing. Wasted the whole first set on songs we never heard and getting the balance of sound right. Took a long break then played commercials and finally came back for a short second set where the eventually played some of the songs everyone wanted to hear.
