For more than two decades, the Crawfish Music Festival celebrates great food, fun rides, and the best music throughout two weekends every April on the grounds of the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. The Festival draws tens of thousands of attendees each year to see national headlining musical artists and regional bands in genres as diverse as country, zydeco, rock, blues, and R&B. Along with the music, the Festival hosts thrilling midway rides, a variety of food, unique vendors, games, and a major crawfish cookoff along with its national headlining concerts.

This concert was by far the best for Crawfish Festival.Great job guys
Our crew had fantastic time from son up to sundown from one beer to the 14th beer , from the rap music to the cut off jeans to the mullets and to the hair tied to the cowboy hat we had a phenomenal experience this year this was our fifth year to go and it just keeps getting more fun, you got to go next year, you got to see what it’s all about. Dont know will be there to headline but they have never let us down yet. is wrong in the past. The crawfish cookout was so yummy and delicious and once again we chose the top winners again. the kiddos went this year because they’re a little older m, they had a great time with other friends. they rode around they had a good time, just what a great experience it was again !!!!! so fun
When the tickets were purchased, the only time given was 1pm. We arrived at 1pm only to get in and find out Jelly roll wouldn’t start till 9:30pm! This was so frustrating considering we couldn’t re enter! Talk about a terrible experience and a lot of unnecessary money spent.
We paid almost 400 dollars for tickets to see jelly roll. When we got there we were told that jelly roll wasn't going to be there until 6, mind you we got there at 1 like the tickets said. We were there until 4 after we were told jelly roll wouldn't be there until 9. We tried to leave and come back later. I was told no you can't come back in once you leave. We didn't get to see jelly roll because we weren't allowed back. I have small children and they were done after the first four hours. I will never go to another festival at the Mississippi colesuem. Worst experience.
I am from Lafayette, LA & bought tickets to the Crawfish Festival in Biloxi, MS. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the concert that I bought tickets for, whom was Jelly Roll. However, the tickets showed that the concert started at 1pm. So my family & I showed up to the event center at 12:00. We bought food & drinks & went find our seats, expecting the show to start around 1-3pm. Except when we were sitting at our seats, (mind you in the dead heat of the sun, no shade, no nothing.. just black seats in the middle of what looked like a concrete lot).. a security guard came up to us & told us that our concert did not start until 9:30 THAT NIGHT & how they don’t tell people that on the tickets because they wouldn’t make as much money. SAD! There was a no re-entry rule which means if we wanted to see the show we spent $300 on tickets for, we had to wait from the time we got there (12pm) to 9:30pm. Absolutely ridiculous considering a bottle of water was $4.00, a can of coke was $5.00 & a beer was $11.00. We won’t even get on the topic of how much the food was. It’s absurd that they are keeping such details out just to make money, & normally I would feel like I’m overreacting, but even the event workers agreed. Absolutely pitiful, & I doubt I’ll be back.
Seating was horrible all they were used for was to stand on and block peoples view
We went late in the night for Jelly Roll and had a great time!!
The only thing is with purchasing these tickets we should have been able to leave and walk bavk in for the ammount we paid and they should have made it were we could see a lil better with other ppl standing up in front us...but besides it was super fun and so amazing jelly was the best part about it all ❤️🥰💯🌻
When we purchased the tickets for Jelly Roll, the tickets showed 1:00 pm. Naturally we thought that Jelly Roll would be playing at that time. We arrived at the coliseum as 10:30 to walk around and enjoy the other festivities only to find out that the gates did not open until 1:00 and Jelly Roll did not go on until 9:30 PM. I was not the only one who was completely blind sided by this. Then we find out that we could not leave the event and return. Thank goodness I did not wait around and enter the gates so I only lost my $10.00 parking fee. But just imagine all the others that entered thinking the same thing and had to make the decision, do we stay all day or leave. It had been a while since I had been to a festival so I thought maybe I missed something. I searched to see if I did, I could not find where any of the event times were actually listed. I did find where a lot of people were just as frustrated as I was. My daughter and I did return and Jelly Roll put on one AWESOME show. But you all have got to do better in your advertisement. The event schedule date/times need to be listed and people need to know ahead of time that re-entry will not be permitted.
This event is always awesome but this year was EPIC. We plan to go again next year and as many as we can after. If your lookin for great food, fun and music this festival has it. Great for all ages.
What a blast. There was so much entertainment for everyone. The kids had a lot of fun at the rides while the adults got to listen to a great lineup for days. This was very well organized for such a long event. The only complaint I had was a last minute switch up in the line up causing ALOT of people to miss one the main lineups (Pecos and the Rooftop) got switched with Kolby Cooper which was a shame. We missed 1/2 the songs as Pecos had already taken the stage in place of KC an hour before his time. Other than that switch a roo, overall it was so fun and the Crawfish from The Boil were on point and the price was even better.
We saw Ernest and Jellyroll the show was friggin awesome . Jellyroll put on better show than last time to me. Will definitely go next year again it was my first experience there loved it!!!!!
Everything was overpriced, couldn’t enjoy anything
I went on Saturday, which is when Jelly Roll performed and let me tell you, I am almost 30 and I have been to several concerts and this one was by FAR the best concert I have ever been to! I would 100-10 love to see him back next year!!
First of all, we bought our tickets online at Ticketmaster with the insurance and everything it costed $91 for two tickets. Then when we got there we found out that we could have easily just bought a ticket there for $35 a piece. The music was amazing but the pricing for the drinks was outrageous! We paid $48 for two mixed drinks in a plastic cup which both had a double shot so really we paid $48 for 4 tiny shots! That is crazy! Then ticket master online said the even was from 1pm-6pm but come to find out the person we went to see perform didn’t come on til 930 pm. But we didn’t find that out until after they scanned our tickets. Once you go in the gate you cannot get back in without purchasing another ticket! They won’t even let you run to the car if you forgot something, so my husband had to pay $35 to get back in just for running to the car to get something we really needed. It’s ridiculous. They need organize better and post an actual time line of performers so people don’t do what we had to do. We waited from 1pm all the way to 930 just to finally see the performer. It was a long wait and to expensive to do anything really so we just sat there most of the time to waste time. The food was reasonable pricing so that was the only upside!
I paid for a ticket to the festival specifically for the concert. The advertisement stated the concert was at 1 pm and I drove over a hour to go to it. The concert didn't start till 9:30 that night ( which I was made aware by other people not even the staff!!) and they wouldn't let you leave and come back unless you purchased another ticket. The icing on the cake was this was my birthday plans and it ruined my whole weekend because I also caught food poisoning from there. Very disappointed in the whole experience and the inconvenience.
Thw tickets say the show starts at 1 but the show didnt even start til 930. No where on the site did it say this. We were not allowed to leave and everything there was high priced. It was a long day of no shade right in the sun waiting.
Really cool setup right by the beach with a great lineup. However, they don't do a good job of informing people of the timeframe for the performances and with a no-rentry policy this is very frustrating as there just isn't that much to do to kill several hours
Getting in wasnt a hassle, the workers was nice. Great experience. Good food. Had a all around good time, something me ans family will be doin again next year
