For more than two decades, the Crawfish Music Festival celebrates great food, fun rides, and the best music throughout two weekends every April on the grounds of the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. The Festival draws tens of thousands of attendees each year to see national headlining musical artists and regional bands in genres as diverse as country, zydeco, rock, blues, and R&B. Along with the music, the Festival hosts thrilling midway rides, a variety of food, unique vendors, games, and a major crawfish cookoff along with its national headlining concerts.
Overall the festival was good. Security seemed good. Parking was adequate. More food choices would be good as well as much more seating to eat is needed. It was very difficult to find a place to sit and eat crawfish platters. A lot of the tables were taken over by families who sat at them all day and didn't just eat and open the table back up for others.
Definitely worth the money we spent for the BZ concert. We didn’t spend much time at the festival, besides listening to Bailey Zimmerman. We did have some yummy snacks. And Bailey was SOOO good!! We thoroughly enjoyed his performance, from his great voice to the personal stories. Wish he had done a few more of his songs (I know he doesn’t have a lot of songs at this point, but a few more would have been really cool.) Hate that we didn’t go see Jordan Davis or Ashley McBryde on previous nights.
We are huge Ashley McBride fans! We really came to see her and of course the legendary Dwight Yoakum. The Concert was off the chain. With the opening acts Drayton Farley, The Weathered Souls setting the stage for Ashley and then Dwight. Ashley is incredible. We have seen her in Pensacola, FL; Fort Smith, AR; Orange Beach, AL; Las Vegas, NV; Mobile, AL; and now Biloxi, MS. She is growing up musically and professionally right before our eyes and we love it and will continue to follow her forever. Dwight what can I say? He still has it and we are so glad we got to see him rocking the stage.
Ashley's voice is so great and I loved all her songs both familiar and new to me, been listening to her all day in fact. She's a tiny thing but with spunk, I love it!! Dwight, people don't believe what a sleeper he is at a concert and he was feeling GOOD that night. It was best of the 4 times I've seen him, front row didn't hurt either! John Mellencamp use to be the best concert I've been to as far as the sound and tightness of the band, overall performance, now it is Dwight. The sound was great at this venue too!!
Beautiful weather in Biloxi Mississippi, perfect time of year for an outdoor show. I will be going back next year
Tickets stated a very different time than when the headliners played and to stick around for 10 hours was a little too much. Maybe the venue should give a better layout of the timeline for visitors coming from out of state, because the way it is now, I will never by another ticket.
Ashley McBryde and Dwight Yoakum are all we saw. They were fantastic. Not crazy about the venue. Thank goodness they had screens up to see the performers. The stage and seating are all at the same level. Front sections stood do we wouldn’t have been able to see anything without the big screens. Overall, we had a great time.
Crawfish were mushy, corn was completely dried out. I get it has to be cooked and moved fast but I’d think that means fresh and hot. However Dwight Yoakam was AMAZING!!
The set up was nice. The weather was perfect. Ashley Mcbride was fantastic. Dwight Yoakam is the cheng king of country music!
the weather was perfect, i purchased a "preferred" parking pass and was right at the entrance, food was great, atmosphere was great and the concert was absolutely perfect!

The Crawfish Music Festival was amazing! The vendors, food, beverages, fair rides, and concert were great! We traveled from Georgia to attend on Saturday. We will definitely be back next year.
Bought two tickets with seats. So me and my wife could sit and watch the show, it didn’t have to be up front but a seat. So we got some of the less expensive seats towards the back, which is FINE!!!!! No where in the ticket description did it say OBSTRUCTED VIEW!!!!!! But it WAS, and on top of that I was reprimanded by security when I made my way up the aisle to take pictures and video!!!!!! This isn’t “Ticketmaster”s fault and I understand but Ticketmaster needs to share this info with the event!!!! Because “general admission” could see the show WAY WAY WAY BETTER than us!!!!! And they paid less!!!!
Loved Ashley McBryde and Dwight Yoakum. Only downside couldn’t exit event to change clothes from day events to evening events. Weather warm in the day, chilly at night.
Drinks was way over priced more then the food the seating on the floor was to close to each other like a plane ticket they could have done better
Jelly Roll put on a hell of a show and can’t wait to see him again in September with Shindown!!!
Had a big oak tree for shade good music good food ..
Best music lineup on Friday and Sunday. Definitely need more Texas boys playing music here.
The artists and concert was amazing we had a great time. As far as drinks and food it was way to over priced!! They would not let you go back to your car once you came in which i felt was pretty messed up since Jelly Roll the headliner did not come on till almost 10pm
THE DAY WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! KOE WETZEL PERFORMED BETTER THAN I COULD HAVE IMAGINED! GREAT TIMES FOR SURE!!!!
