The Color Purple (Touring) Tickets

I enjoyed the play. They just didn’t hit the major parts like suge didn’t sing (sister you been on my mind) I mean that’s a significant part in the movie they didn’t do the hand game (me and you must never part). But I enjoyed the experience.

The actors and singing were great. It was a wonderful event.

We really enjoyed the performance. They engaged the audience and did a fantastic job with the singing. We laughed a lot and got to see things from a different perspective from the movie. Lastly, their voices were strong and clear and each song was heartfelt.

My husband and I attended this play and we enjoyed the talented performance this team put together. Awesome job! Kudos to the director for recognizing such a great cast. Then ending was surprising and I loved it!!

Well to start, I’ve never experienced so many people getting out of their seats during a performance—very disturbing. I could not get into the ‘chair’ props. The actors’ voices were drowned out by the orchestra. After seeing The Color Purple several times before, it was a disappointing experience.

This show was unbelievable amazing! I went in with high expectations, but it definitely exceeded those. The music, the acting and the singing was awesome. This is a must see!

The singing made the show worth seeing. The actors were also entertaining and retold the story well, but the set was minimal and did not add to the story at all. If you haven't read the book or watched the movie, the story may not come across so well.

Seating was great. Show was great. Staff was great.

Amazing cast made this a great experience! Each one is a superbly talented individual and together, they were awesome!

This is my 1st time seeing the musical play and what a powerful performance! I gave 3 stars for me because genuine connectivity in terms of emotions and mindset is lacking, but still worth seeing it as whole!

Great voices, great drama! Great staging! A terrific production!

I hate to say that the musical may have been better had I had a better atmosphere. I had great balcony seats. The employees were helpful until I sat down. The audience made it impossible to enjoy the music. People are rude and disrespectful. There was a woman behind me on her phone having a full blown convo during the performance! No usher to be found! Little lights from apple watches and telephones that hadn’t been put away EVERYWHERE. No ushers to be found. Needless to say, I left at intermission and decided to never attend again.

The Tennessee Theater was awesome as usual. Always a pleasure to see shows at that theater. Color Purple excited my expectations. Looking forward to going back for more shows.

Singing was amazing as was the acting Story line was also great

The singing and performances were exceptional. However, I and others around me on the main floor had difficulty making out the lyrics and dialogue. Often sounded garbled.

This was my first time seeing the show. I was skeptical that it could capture the story. I was pleasantly surprised! It hit me all in my feels, and was sprinkled with humor. The vocals were on point! Great show!

Many times throughout the performance you could not hear the actors. Most often when the orchestra was playing you could not hear. Love traveling Broadway Shows. Was extremely disappointed.

The simplicity of the set was amazing. It allowed for you to engross oneself in the performance. Would see it again.

We had a wonderful time at the Color Purple. Great actors and actresses. They sang their butts off!

The show was excellent they did an amazing job. I took my mother for her birthday.
