I loved every second of the of the play! I wish Broadway acts would tour to Charleston more! The singing was phenomenal!

The show was incredible throughout. We cried, laughed and were completely enthralled with the story and music. The theater is cozy and The seats are very comfortable. The employees of the theater are less than welcoming They almost shout at each guest as they complete security and direct you to a door. They seem annoyed that you are even attempting to enter the theater. Also to get to the restrooms you have to completely exit the theater and use the casino restrooms- then re enter. Again subject to the rudeness of the employees. Yes it’s a casino but if people are paying 150.00 a ticket they need to adjust their behavior and accommodate people with a welcoming friendly manner.

Went to see The Color Purple(Touring) and it was absolutely amazing. It now tops my list of favorite Broadway shows I've ever seen!!

I could not imagine how this wonderful movie could be made into a musical. After seeing the show and the PHENOMENAL performers, my question was totally answered. Thank you for a breathtaking evening.

Saw at EJ Thomas Hall. The seating was great for the ticket price. They cast did an excellent job. I would recommend.

The Color Purple was an excellent play. The music was unmatched. My boyfriend and I are very happy that we went.

I’m unsure how to address this but during the deeply powerful production several audience members had their phones on a rolling through social media. Perhaps a bold & clear announcement prior could help. Also there were several guests who talked during the production. The set was incredible, the detail & transitions smooth, & raw human talent was incredible! We’ll be back!

This Rating was given simply based on the low budget of the show. Literally they used chairs only for every scene and baskets! The props were not good at all! never a scene change? I feel like there should have been more of the story/details as well. This should rating however should take NOTHING away from the actors and actresses they were all great! Some of the most beautiful voices ever!! Celie & Sophia & Harpo WOW!!! I did also love the spin that the play took!!

When we got to the show on time they made us walk around the building to the box office for nothing then we end up be late and miss the first part of the show.

Very entertaining and funny... it had a lil twist to it but the cast was amazing...Just wished they sung the songs from the movie.

The performance was amazing! I've seen The Color Purple 3x and this has been the best thus far! Only reason I did not give this a 5 star is because the venue was so cold. We asked twice if they can adjust the temp and nothing. Other ppl also spoke to the users about the temp.

This isn't the first time I saw the show but the first time with this cast and it was amazing. The young lady that played Ceily was fantastic she commanded the attention of the audience. Actually the entire cast was amazing. Filled with powerhouse voices. Great show will go and see it again if I got the chance!

From start to the end I was memorized by the acting and singing. The casting crew was phenomenal!!! For the amount of stage space allotted for the performance, was definitely uesd creatively by the production team, etc...

The show was amazing!! I enjoyed it in its' entirety. It had humor; great singing and such a beautiful story. You must see it.
