The music of the Charlie Daniels Band is a unique combination of southern rock, country, blues and folk. With a career spanning 50 years and more than 20 million in sales, Grand Ole Opry inductee and Grammy Award winner, Charlie Daniels is coming to the Colosseum on Friday, April 16 at 9 pm to sing some of his greatest hits including, "The Devil went Down to Georgia," "The South's Gonna Do It," and "Uneasy Rider."
Great show. The CDB can still bring it. Awesome front man, awesome band. Did not know Charlie was such a good guitarist. Definitely recommend. No opening band, and not really long. But not surprising for a casino show.
Mr. Daniels did a great job considering his age. He has a great group of musicians that back him up. There were few more solo instrumentals than I cared for and the acoustics and sound system seemed a little out of wack but it was worth price of admission. He can flat play a fiddle..
Charlie Daniels has put together a super group of musicians to complement his talents. His keyboardist, lead guitarist and drummer are world class and worth the price of the ticket just to see. And of course Charlie Daniels is fun to see.... still rocking it in his 80's!
I wasn’t too familiar with this band but was totally impressed by the energy and talent of this man. The musicians that make up his band are so very talented. Very much enjoyed...just one complain (and heard this from others) it was way to loud for the space held.
Good opening act with The Allman Betts Band & then onto Charlie Daniels... what more needs to be said...
Charlie Daniels Band sounded great. Main complaint is the length of time they played. The band has a fair amount of material and the concert was missing a lot of it.
Great musicians & of course; the Greatest, Charlie Daniels! So much energy, no break, 1 1/2 hours of GREAT MUSIC!
Loved it. 2nd time we have seen them. I love the fact that they will do smaller venues as well as the big ones.
Best concert I have been to yet! Great musicians! I hope they come back to Albany again.

Great concert. Charlie Daniels has still got it. Liked the size of the venue, not too big and easy to access.
parking attendees precise pros. Entering the venue was quick and easy because the rules were readily displayed with staff getting you in as quickly as possible No hassle Inside the venue though guys should sit and let the lady's dance all they want
I have seen Charlie Daniels live no less than 10 times. Three shows over the past 5 years. This was his / their best show in over the past 5 years. Charlie Daniels is a True Patriot, has great engagement with the audience, and still can play the fiddle!! Allman / Betts was a good warm up show. Brought back some great memories of the Allman Brothers Band. Good sound. All around good show!!
First of all, the combination of The Allman Betts Band and The Charlie Daniels Band was terrific. I was so impressed with the musical talent on the stage throughout the night. Unfortunately, my party and I were constantly interrupted by late arriving patrons both at the beginning of the show and after intermission. Additionally, since beverages are allowed in the performance area, individuals were constantly coming and going throughout the seating area to get or refresh drinks or use the restrooms during the show. To top if off, the individual next to our party spilled his whole cup of beer into our area making for an uncomfortable evening.
I was pleasantly surprised on how great of a show this was.The Allman-Betts band to open were incredible and then 83 year old Charlie Daniels comes on stage with his band who are all great musicians as well.Overall from start to finish it was a top ten favorite show of mine.
Charlie Daniels at 83 years old is as amazing a performer as he was 30 years ago. The concert was fantastic. The Allman Betts Band was fantastic!! Great night of performances!
Charlie Daniels blew me away! He is still ready to get the show started and is an amazing musician with a lot more to give. I still can't believe he is 83 and still rocking and rolling! The Allman Betts Band are always on-point to give a great show! You make your Daddy's and family proud! So glad you are back together as the kids of amazing musicians! KEEP ROCKIN!!
What a great event! From our seats to the drinks and food to Charlie Daniels playing best concert in last few times we saw him!!
Not enough handicapped parking at this venue - some of the "handicapped" parking was a good distance away from the venue
Even at the age of 83, Charlie sounded great, so the show didn’t disappoint, however the crowd made it difficult to fully enjoy the show. Lots of people using flashes on their phones while trying to take video, which was distracting, and seeing people in today’s day and age walking around with confederate flags was offensive and in my opinion, shouldn’t be allowed in an inclusive public space.
