The music of the Charlie Daniels Band is a unique combination of southern rock, country, blues and folk. With a career spanning 50 years and more than 20 million in sales, Grand Ole Opry inductee and Grammy Award winner, Charlie Daniels is coming to the Colosseum on Friday, April 16 at 9 pm to sing some of his greatest hits including, "The Devil went Down to Georgia," "The South's Gonna Do It," and "Uneasy Rider."
Based on recommendations regarding large gatherings, we made the decision to not attend. What a disappointment! We thought that the event might possibly be cancelled or postponed. We were unable to give our tickets away at the last minute. Really disappointed as we really wanted to see Charlie perform!
It was nice to hear some good music from a great man. The band that opened was good to.
The venue is a smaller one but there isn’t a bad seat in there. Everyone was so helpful. House Whiskey was amazing and we would gladly see them again! Charlie Daniels put on an incredible show and we plan to see him again in August.
Truly amazing jam session! They played the known classics interspersed with jam sessions led by wonderful musicians.
As always, Charlie and his group did a fantastic performance. For an 83 year old, he can still do it and his feelings toward faith and the arm services is above the greatest.
Had good seats center 4 rows back great concert. seats to close together need more space to sit
I paid extra for front row seats, my wife and I were looking forward to the concert. I had read reviews about cramped seating, that is an understatement! Being front row I had plenty of leg room, however the seats are way too close together! I have NEVER been to a venue with that tight of seating. Also, Charlies mic was messed up, we could barely understand anything he was saying when he was talking let alone singing. We will definitely think twice about going to Kansas Star again to hear a concert!
Overall a huge disappointment. Sound system was poor quality. McDaniel's didn't sing the songs we thought he would. Almost left - but stuck it out - would not go see him again.
Charlie can still put on a great show! Loved their performance! Kansas Star Event Center tho... pretty sure their bartending staff gets uglier and slower every time I go.
Not a huge concert, which was nice because it didn’t feel overcrowded or stress-inducing! Arena was awesome, music was great, and we loved that there were no openers and it was an hour and a half show of who we actually wanted to see! Show could’ve been a bit longer, but overall was GREAT!
As always Charlie Daniels put on a great show. Great music!
Ticketmaster put the tickets in Wallet on my iPhone. That was great. But then Wallet put an ad wanting me to subscribe and it wouldn’t delete. So we could no longer show the second ticket because the ad covered it. But Golden Nugget let us in so no problem. And it’s a great show.

It's a very small venue. The sound was excellent and the big screens allow you to see cavities in their teeth...lol, although you are already so close to the stage. Charlie Daniels Band puts on the best show I've seen in years. Do not let their age fool you. These are very talented and incredible and amazing musicians! I enjoyed it so much that I would definitely go see them again. And I liked the small venue there at Morongo, so if another band comes along that I'd like to see, I would definitely go there again.
At 80 years of age Charlie Daniels has the energy of a 40 year old! He played a 90 minute set which included most of his big hits and his normal patriotic tributes to the troops and USA. Great fun!!
The CDB is fantastic. They never disappoint! However the theatre location at Morongo leaves a lot to be desired. The sound system needs to be replaced and the seating is very uncomfortable. During the performance we could hear people talking outside. Hopefully they are planning a better facility in the future.
my grandson and i went to see him. my grandson so loves him that he plays the violin and he plays charlies songs on it. jusy love charlie. first time to the casino for both of us also
Had a great time. Sound system needed to be a little bit better. Small area is hard to get the sound right. The band was great and Charlie Daniels was GREAT. Still going strong after all these years

For an 83 year old lead, Charlie is amazing on both the guitar and fiddle. His band gave one of the best performances that I've seen this year. No rock band could have given the energy that Charlie Daniels Band does.
