I really enjoyed the show, would definitely recommend to a friend!

This was my first play with the Black Academy! I was very pleased with what i saw! Definitely worth the money! I'll definitely be back!

The cast was great! They really pulled you into their story. The singers (especially Frenchie) were amazingly talented! And a plus was that my boyfriend and I were selected (with 3 others) to be a part of the opening scene of the play! Certainly a highlight!

Didn't like the ending it left you hanging, title of the play didn't match the play or what was happening in the play.

I was very impressed with the play. I have always read her books, but never thought that the play was going to be as good as it was, mainly because it was her first one. I think my favorite part was Freachie's son--"Sitting on the Dock of the Bay". Well it was one of my favorite parts. She had something for everyone, male, female (Christian Keys), young, old, single, or married. Zane you have out done yourself. Can't wait until the next one.

This play was so amazing the cast was awesome. The singing great. The story line was something that a lot of women have gone through. Zane really brought the fire and I am so excited to see more plays from her. I will remember this always. I have no negative thoughts about it. I will still continue to be her faithful fan of her amazing work.

For it to be a Zane play, I was expecting a more sexual tone..This wasn't anything I was getting excited about watching....I could have saved my money..

The scenery, acting, storyline, and singing were great!

Zane did an excellent job for her 1st stage play. I was glad I was able to witness the remarkable cast.

The play was OK but just like the movie very predictable. The books are much better.

The play was excellent. The cast includes multitalented performers, who were really great. I would recommend this production to anyone.

Absolutely loved it! Amazing play! Loved the story line. Every actor/actress on stage killed it! So much talent. Zane has a hit!

The performance of play was "Outstanding". The Acting is superb and on point. The music, Fabulous! Each character made you feel like you were living in that moment with them. The energy exhumed on stage and you were spellbound trying to figure out the final outcome. Kudos to all of you in the production, the writers, stagehands, lighting etc. Your place should be on Broadway! Congrats!

Overall the play was good but not great. The first act was quite slow. On top of that, there were so many interruptions in the audience with people coming in nearly an hour late. After the intermission the second act was so much better. I especially love Frenchie's song and hoped I would have heard more good singing. I know this is the first. Look forward to better next time.

Freda Payne is as beautiful & elegant as always. The actors were on point just as I imagined. The story line in the play was so real. I can see this type of behavior and backlash in some people. Life is good on this side but over there, not so much.Good job Zane.

Once the show start there should be limited times for late comers to be seated Too many cell phone lights

Loved it, it was just amazing and there voices are from God.

He wasn't that funny, and I thought there would be other comedians as a preliminary, before the main act. I probably would not attend future shows with him as a headliner

It was a great Show. Rashaan was fantastic and so were the back-up singers.
