    Terrible Venue Management

by Logan on 9/16/23DCU Center - Worcester

The actual show was good, but venue management left much to be desired. Doors opened almost a half hour late despite it raining - leaving a giant line wrapped halfway around the building standing in the rain much longer than necessary. That was followed by the audio tuning being *terrible* for the opening band and not fixed until halfway through the second. I felt bad for the artists - they played a great show but it was spoiled by incompetent venue managers. I don’t intend to return to the DCU center anytime soon - the Palladium right down the block consistently runs a *much* better show, and I’ve been to a ton of them there.

    Pretty Amazing Ngl

    by Zach on 6/20/23

Falling in Reverse and Beartooth absolutely KILLED IT! Ronnie definitely stole the show in my opinion, but I ain't complaining. Breaking Ben was alright, they didn't do as great as I think they could of honestly. Still a great time, great show, 12/10 will be going again!

great show but volume was too loud

by David on 5/5/23DCU Center - Worcester

Fortunately I had ear protection, but a friend who did not had to leave. Breaking Benjamin was awesome as always, but the decibels were too high for the place unfortunately.

    Sound mix was awful.

by Steve on 5/5/23DCU Center - Worcester

Went to this show specifically to see Breaking Benjamin. Had no issue with any of the other bands, but the sound mix was terrible for BB. The drums overpowered everything - it was difficult to even recognize several of the songs. Very disappointed.

    The Big Gig

    by Ry007 on 5/3/23DCU Center - Worcester

We went to the Bug Gig Saturday April 29th. The doors opened 25 minutes later than the scheduled time with everyone waiting had to stand in the rain for 20 of those minutes. The venue was nice and clean and everyone was very nice. The first act was okay but the speaker were not very good and distorted. The next two acts was very good and sounded great. Falling In Reverse was absolutely amazing and well worth the cost. But Breaking Benjamin is a different story….. The vocals were so low we couldn’t hear them and the drums and guitar were so loud you couldn’t enjoy them at all. We ended up leaving after 4 songs.

    Good band ok sound

    by D. S. on 5/2/23DCU Center - Worcester

The sound mix was not very good. The bass was excellent but there was no midrange and the drums drowned out the guitars and vocals. The band was fine and the light show was well synchronized. The spot light literally missed the lead singer on all four bands - there was no spot light for center stage. We had VIP passes which were nice because we got food and drinks and a room away from the crowd to eat.

I didn’t like it. The seats were uncomfortable and the band didn’t sound as good

    Breaking Benjamin disappointed

by poison on 5/2/23DCU Center - Worcester

The big gig was nicely produced, the local DJ's kept the show rolling. The opening acts were terrific. Falling in Reverse and Beartooth were electric. I am a huge Breaking Benjamin fan, this was my 6th time seeing them in concert, but I was left wanting. It was awkward that the lead singer was singing in the dark, and his bandmates just stood in front of their mics singing and playing their guitars. It was lacking the typical pyrotechnics, lights, energy, and interaction. Typically, Ben is friendly and funny in his interactions with the crowd. However, they were 10 songs into the show until he spoke to the crowd. It was cool to see his little boy playing with him and that they were making memories together. Nevertheless, I have high expectations for BB and they didn't deliver. If you were in the crowd, you would have noticed 25-30% of the crowd left midway through the show. Lastly, the playlist is played out. Check out setlist, it's essentially unchanged over the past 2 years. The only change I noticed was the deletion of Firefly and 1 or 2 cover songs. I am still a fan, just expected more.
