    Great show

by SML on 4/30/24DCU Center - Worcester

Easy entry. Great seats. Missed Tim Montana. Saw Asking Alexandria for the 1st time and they were good, vocal to instrumental ratio was low…a little hard to hear some of the lyrics. Would have liked to hear more from the new album. I have seen Seether many times, this was the best performance by them although I wish they had played “Tonight”. Stained was awesome. Vocal ratio was spot on. Aaron Lewis was really amazing. There was little talk between songs and more time for music⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Some good, some bad

by Bex on 4/30/24DCU Center - Worcester

Tim Montana and Asking Alexandria were incredible! High energy, amazing performances, and lots of fun. Seethe was pretty good, but I'm not a big Seether fan, so I couldn't say if it was a good shower a bad show for them based on what their performances are usually like. They sounded great, though! Stand, however... Lewis's voice sounded nasally and kind of whiney, it didn't sound like his usual deeper voice. Outside of that, their set was just blah. In 40 years of going to concerts, I've only ever earned out of a show before it was done twice, and thus show was one of them. After about a half an hour into Staind's set, we just called it and left. I didn't go specifically to see Staind, I was there for AA, so overall it wasn't a big deal, but it was still disappointing to hear them sounding so bad. I'd love to tell everyone it was just us that felt that way, but there were a LOT of people leaving around the time we did, and it was only about 10:20 at night.

    Couldn’t get to floor

by Ashley on 4/30/24DCU Center - Worcester

We had the hardest time finding the floor or general admission area. Some of the access points were closed which makes sense but it took 3 different staff people to figure out how we could actually get down there. The show was good, although Aaron Lewis should speak between songs… we didn’t even know if/when they were done because they turn lights on after every song.

    Big Three

by MM on 4/30/24DCU Center - Worcester

Didn’t expect to have such fun with Seether, Staind and Asking Alexandria. This show was definitely beyond expectations . Was perhaps a little bit short but not much else can be expected when you have so many good artists.

    Good

    by E. on 4/30/24DCU Center - Worcester

The Big Gig III was a good event overall. The DCU Center is an excellent venue with great security staff. The lineup of artists was also a great combination. However, as a big Asking Alexandria fan, I do wish they were given a larger set as this show deviated from their current headlining show. I would love to see AA return to the DCU Center as a headliner, like in past years! I commend the band for them stopping the performance during a crowd injury as well. As for the venue, it was clean overall, but the beers were very warm from all concession stands. Bathrooms were fairly clean, but definitely experienced long wait times in trying to get in.

    Great Show

by Todd S on 4/30/24DCU Center - Worcester

All the bands were on top of their game. Seether killed as usual. Staind and Aaron Lewis were awesome. AA was great, miss Ben Bruce, hope his family issues can resolve themselves. Tim Montana was newer for me but has a bright future combining the rock and country genres.

    Hell of a Show

Awesome show! Great double headliner. Not a bad seat in the house. Would even see it again with the same setlist.

    Terrible Venue Management

by Logan on 9/16/23DCU Center - Worcester

The actual show was good, but venue management left much to be desired. Doors opened almost a half hour late despite it raining - leaving a giant line wrapped halfway around the building standing in the rain much longer than necessary. That was followed by the audio tuning being *terrible* for the opening band and not fixed until halfway through the second. I felt bad for the artists - they played a great show but it was spoiled by incompetent venue managers. I don’t intend to return to the DCU center anytime soon - the Palladium right down the block consistently runs a *much* better show, and I’ve been to a ton of them there.

    Pretty Amazing Ngl

    by Zach on 6/20/23

Falling in Reverse and Beartooth absolutely KILLED IT! Ronnie definitely stole the show in my opinion, but I ain't complaining. Breaking Ben was alright, they didn't do as great as I think they could of honestly. Still a great time, great show, 12/10 will be going again!

great show but volume was too loud

by David on 5/5/23DCU Center - Worcester

Fortunately I had ear protection, but a friend who did not had to leave. Breaking Benjamin was awesome as always, but the decibels were too high for the place unfortunately.

    Sound mix was awful.

by Steve on 5/5/23DCU Center - Worcester

Went to this show specifically to see Breaking Benjamin. Had no issue with any of the other bands, but the sound mix was terrible for BB. The drums overpowered everything - it was difficult to even recognize several of the songs. Very disappointed.

    The Big Gig

    by Ry007 on 5/3/23DCU Center - Worcester

We went to the Bug Gig Saturday April 29th. The doors opened 25 minutes later than the scheduled time with everyone waiting had to stand in the rain for 20 of those minutes. The venue was nice and clean and everyone was very nice. The first act was okay but the speaker were not very good and distorted. The next two acts was very good and sounded great. Falling In Reverse was absolutely amazing and well worth the cost. But Breaking Benjamin is a different story….. The vocals were so low we couldn’t hear them and the drums and guitar were so loud you couldn’t enjoy them at all. We ended up leaving after 4 songs.

    Good band ok sound

    by D. S. on 5/2/23DCU Center - Worcester

The sound mix was not very good. The bass was excellent but there was no midrange and the drums drowned out the guitars and vocals. The band was fine and the light show was well synchronized. The spot light literally missed the lead singer on all four bands - there was no spot light for center stage. We had VIP passes which were nice because we got food and drinks and a room away from the crowd to eat.
