It wasn’t as good as I thought it was gonna be.

by Cbritt on 5/2/23DCU Center - Worcester

I didn’t like it. The seats were uncomfortable and the band didn’t sound as good

    Breaking Benjamin disappointed

by poison on 5/2/23DCU Center - Worcester

The big gig was nicely produced, the local DJ's kept the show rolling. The opening acts were terrific. Falling in Reverse and Beartooth were electric. I am a huge Breaking Benjamin fan, this was my 6th time seeing them in concert, but I was left wanting. It was awkward that the lead singer was singing in the dark, and his bandmates just stood in front of their mics singing and playing their guitars. It was lacking the typical pyrotechnics, lights, energy, and interaction. Typically, Ben is friendly and funny in his interactions with the crowd. However, they were 10 songs into the show until he spoke to the crowd. It was cool to see his little boy playing with him and that they were making memories together. Nevertheless, I have high expectations for BB and they didn't deliver. If you were in the crowd, you would have noticed 25-30% of the crowd left midway through the show. Lastly, the playlist is played out. Check out setlist, it's essentially unchanged over the past 2 years. The only change I noticed was the deletion of Firefly and 1 or 2 cover songs. I am still a fan, just expected more.

    Decent show.

by Tim on 5/2/23DCU Center - Worcester

The stage was so packed that Dorothy could barely move. The disrespect that she was given... Only half an hour of playing time? That was disappointing, she's amazing. Beartooth is terrible. We got up and walked around until they were done. Pretty Reckless was amazing, but a short set. It seems like most people were there for Falling in Reverse, but I am not a fan. Breaking Benjamin was better than I thought, buy people left before they finished!

    Truly AMAZING

by Val on 5/2/23DCU Center - Worcester

The entire set up was amazing! All the performers did a great job performing! The only issue was the bathroom lines, but that is to be expected for any event -- so it was no big deal! :))

    Great performances!

by Matt on 5/2/23DCU Center - Worcester

The concert itself was amazing. All the bands performed great and I enjoyed the experience. My only issue is that I felt the whole “VIP” experience was unorganized. They give you a lanyard that says VIP but it is just for show and does nothing to help you get to where you need to be because you still had to wait in a long line to get a bracelet to access your floor seats which in turn made you late for the opening of the actual show. Why not give the bracelets and the lanyard at the same time???

    Big Gig Review

by Chaela on 5/2/23DCU Center - Worcester

The show was a great mix of new/up and coming artists and established bands. This is my second Big Gig, and both were great shows, but the venue sucks. Getting in the venue was chaos, they didn't open the doors until the show was starting, and getting to our section was ridiculous. Vendors were not prepared for the lines, causing extensive wait times.

    Falling in Reverse nails it!!!!!

    by Boul3vard on 5/2/23DCU Center - Worcester

Ear me here, ALL the bands had there moments and give a good show! But one of Them rock the place so hard that I dont know in which state of mind Breaking Benjamin were when they stepped on the stage. 45 minutes of high energic songs with no time to breath! Was a bit scared they would not make it due to issues with their singer's voice. But bang there they were!! You know it's gonna be good when the crowd sing every songs during the break!! Si I guess now you know I like the shows, all of them, even if we had to drive almost 8 hours all the way from northen Quebec to catch them. Of course you already guessed that we were there principaly for Falling in Reverse. That was worth it!!

    Technical inadequacies

by Renee on 5/2/23DCU Center - Worcester

Lineup was great, but half the bands sounded muddled. Only Pretty Reckless sounded good (great, actually!). The lighting was also frustrating. For some bands, the band members were in darkness if they stepped away from their specifi spot. And Breaking Benjamin was hard to watch because the lead singer was in darkness and if he was the one singing ir playing lead, you tried to watch him. We left early because it was frustrating, but the band before that also had members in shadow. We dont just go to listen; we want to WATCH.

    Good show bad venue

by Roro on 5/2/23DCU Center - Worcester

The bands were great. The Bud Light zone tickets I bought were misleading. No private bar or different food selection as advertised with ticket. Was not able to attend the beer tasting prior to event as advertised. The venue is dirty and disorganized. I was there twice last year and it was just as disorganized and dirty then too

by Sarah on 5/2/23DCU Center - Worcester

Was mainly there to see FIR and they did not disappoint! The best out of all 5. Didnt even stay til full end, was not impressed with Breaking Benjamin. Oh well, money well spent either way!

    Fun but low energy

by JRC on 5/2/23DCU Center - Worcester

For the price paid for tickets (Section 110 Row D, not top of the line obviously but $130/ticket), they had speakers blocking our view and the netting around the stage felt like it discouraged the acts to interact with any parts of the crowd that weren’t front and center, which kinda sucked. I got those specific tickets in hopes that we’d be close enough to the stage. I feel like if I had paid less for nose bleeds in a center section that I would’ve had a better view, so that’s really disappointing. Also, the music they had playing in between acts was so low, we could barely hear it. It was only if everyone started singing aloud that you could really get into the song. Beartooth, The Pretty Reckless and Falling in Reverse had amazing energy and you could feel it throughout the crowd but it felt like all the energy dropped as soon as Breaking Benjamin came out. A lot of people, including us, left early because of it which sucks to say because they’re a great band. We went primarily to see Falling in Reverse, which was amazing, but I wish the overall experience was better.

Great Performers but Really Poor Acoustics

by Lenny B. on 5/2/23DCU Center - Worcester

Each of the performers were great. It was a terrific lineup. The sound quality was horrible for all bands. Not sure if it was the mixing or the speakers in the DCU Center, but in most cases you couldnt hear the singers, and in some cases you couldnt hear the guitars. The drums were prevalent and the reverb, sound backfeed was there. This experience makes me question whether I will attend a concert at the DCU again.

    It was good

by Kara on 5/2/23DCU Center - Worcester

The concert went pretty good. Dorothy didn’t sound great because her music was louder than her vocals, so it was really hard to hear. Beartooth did pretty good. Pretty reckless was amazing per normal. Falling in reverse even with having a sore voice, put on amazing show, and got the crowd very pumped! And Breaking Benjamin did very well. Different from when I saw them over 10 years ago, but it was really cute how Benjamin had his son on stage with him
