Brooke Shields and the rest of the cast rocked in The Addams Family. Every part was cast well and the acting was superb as was the writing. We couldn't imagine what the plot would be, as The Addams had been done before, but this production was fresh and new!!!
This was absolutely hysterical! We went with my parents and our two teenage daughters and everyone greatly enjoyed the show! The acting was excellent, the costumes and scenery superb, and Brooke Sheilds looked beautiful. We would definitely recommend this for all ages and we hope to have a chance to see it again.
This was my first Broadway play and it was the last performance of The Addams Family, but I loved the TV show as a kid so thought it would be a great first Broadway play for my son (who is 7) as well as my husband and me. It was fantastic! Brooke Shields was amazing as Morticia - singing and dancing - she looks fabulous. The entire program was entertaining and we loved the cast. My son was either laughing or shocked most of the time and really enjoyed it as much as my husband and me. Thanks so much to the entire cast for making our New Years Eve in 2011 the best we have had in years!! (Also, thanks to our Towncar driver for getting us out of New York so quickly with all the crowds after the show was over : )
A must see... definitely should be extended. Great Family show!! ( snap! snap!)
Too bad it is being canceled. Play was very good. Wife and I are in the generation that watched it on TV. Ganmama and Fester were hilarious. Morticia/Shields was a bit of a disappointment.... no pazzazz!

My granddaughter and I like the play very much. Characters were awesome. Scenery and costumes were super. I would go see it again.

My 14-year daughter loved it. Good enough for me. Humor, nice tunes, appropriate for teenagers. Competent performances, not too deep. If you need to entertain a teenager in NYC, this show will do.
Even better than I expected. Took my 12 year old grandson and 10 year old granddaughter - first time theatre experience for both of them - and they loved it. Best show I've seen in years. Fun filled for the whole family.
One of the best!! Brooke Shields, Roger Rees and the entire cast - simply amazing!! Just stellar performances. A shame to see it go!

Excellent play. Very funny. The theatre was very comfortable. We would go again.
How this script made it to stage is beyond me. Juvenile silliness mixed with obscenities and overt sexual references required my better senses to take over, cover my children's ears and eyes until we could make a graceful exit at intermission. Cheap thrills for those with low standards. I have heard they've made significant changes to the national tour score and script, so perhaps it will get better.
I took my neices and nephews to this event, They range in age from 8 to 19. We loved it.
It did not disappoint! It was the Addams Family we love and remember, but improved! Loved the music, the humor was excellent, the actors were wonderful! It was exciting to see Brooke Shields, he tango was superb!
The music, acting, dancing, and story line were all excellent.
