The Tennessee Titans played their first and only Super Bowl on January 30, 2000, against the St. Louis Rams. Unfortunately, the Titans were defeated (23-16) in a game that is considered by many to be an all-time classic. Super Bowl XXXIV is also famous for being referred to as the "Dot-Com Super Bowl" due to the heavy amount of dot-com ads.
Weather was extremely cold, but always glad to go to a titans game.
well what more can i ask for , when the charger's beat the titten's on their own turf!!
I don't know what it was with the people at the concessions in near sections 319-317 but they had horrible attitudes and treated myself and others like we were a bother to them. It might have been because they had to work on Christmas, but that was not my fault. They were rude and dismissive.
The Titans did not seem prepared for the Chargers' offence, especially precision passes to receivers doing out and hook patterns up the middle. The fact that two of their starting linebackers were not playing seemed to make a difference. Unfortunately, the officials, where did they come from? & who in San Diego paid them off?, gave the momentum and lots of yardage and first down conversions to the Chargers many, many times on what appeared to be many, many questionable calls. Overall, an enjoyable but cold Christmas outing, but don't, don't buy tickets in Section 115, excellent seats, unless you are prepared to stand the entire game!
This was an awesome game I took my grandson to this game and it was his first NFL live to see and he loved it. We had a great time. We set with both dolphin fans and Titan fans and had a blast. As always there is never a bad seat at LP Field. Thanks.
Happy 50th birthday! My sister loves Titans football. I wanted to give her a special present for a special day. The game, the outcome, the day was perfect!
I showed up at the hotel on east side about ten minutes from the stadium, waited on friend to meet up. When she came, we did a little shopping for souvenirs, ate at Applebee's for dinner, and just enjoyed each other's company. I being a Dolfan and her being a Titans fan, we whooped it up all day Saturday. Next day we went to the stadium. We were surprised that there was no mall near the stadium; at least that was what the official parking attendant said. In Indy, there is a Circle City Mall just a short walk from Lucas Oil Stadium where we can shop for stuffs, look around at sports stores, eat at nice restaurants, etc. My friend and I walked around the stadium before we went up to the nose bleed upper section. Then we walked up to our seats arriving about an hour and half early, it was a pleasure to see the sights, seeing the river near the stadium, watching the video on the jumbo tron, etc. The game was an exciting one, overtime to boot. And while my Dolphins did not win, at least they made a great game out of it. My friend and I were sooo glad to make it there. We are already making plans for next year's game, location to be determined.
Dolphins vs. Titans was an unforgettable game!! Miami should have, could have, would have, but didn't win. Thanks to a 15 yard penalty for tackling a player with the ball???? All in all a super game to watch live! Most of the CSC staff was helpful, however, a few rotten apples need to learn some courteous manners. 2 of which need to learn when asking paid ticket holders to leave the visiting side front row before the game, to maybe say please and thank you the first time asking! I don't think taking pictures of one's favorite football team an hour or so before the game is really gonna bother anyone?? The rude CSC usher sure did act like it. We're all adults here, act like it!! A simple please, followed by thanks would have sufficed!!!!!! Thanks for reading!
I for the first time got to watch the Miami Dolphins play in real life and its an experience I will never forget. Too Bad they lost but barely though.
We had seats high up-secrion 208. Though high, we had great views of the field. The seating was spaced in a way that we never felt crowded. The bathroom (women's) was clean and WARM! My only real complaint was the very limited concessions up in that area and extremely slow service. I was second in line and waited almost 15 minutes for a hot chocolate. The servers were chatting with each other instead of waiting on customers. I would love to go to another game, but I'll eat first!
Great game for the Titans! Took the lead early with Vince Young. Collins came in & kept the momentum going - a little rusty, but still Collins
The Stadium is very fan friendly. Helpful and courteous staff . The security folks were OK too, much better than other NFL sites.
THE TITANS DID A GREAT PERFORMANCE. THEY WHOOPED ST LOUIS BUTT 47-7. I'M GLAD THIS WAS THE GAME I DECIDED TO WATCH. IT WAS WORTH IT.
It was all too simple to go online, purchase tickets, print them out, and then go to the game. I'll be using this service in the future! Although I'm not a Titan fan, I very much enjoyed the game.
Down 4 points with 2 minutes to play and 99 yards to go, going for it on 4th down 3 times on the drive scoring with no time left in game to win by 3 was truely amazing to watch and it made 5 in a row for the Titans who started 0-6! WOW!!!!
Wonderful fans and Stadium. Not a bad seat in the whole place. Even in upper level we could still see the game perfectly. The atmosphere was like something from a movie. The only suggestion I have is to let the fans know when they order their tickets that they will need a parking permit to park anywhere near the stadium unless they want to pay 15-20 bucks for parking. We had to park on the other side of the river and walk and in the dark on the parking situation until we pulled up in front of the stadium. Other than that it was an amazing game, very memorable.
HAVING ATTENDED SPORT EVENTS FOR ALMOST 60 YEARS, THIS WAS THE GREATEST GAME EVER. iT OUTSHINES SUPER BOWLS, WORLD SERIES, FINAL 4, STANLEY CUP, ETC. SEATS IN THE NOSEBLEED AND FIREWORKS AREA, BUT PROVIDED GREAT SIGHTLINES. TITAN FANS ARE SOMETHING SPECIAL. NO OTHER COMMUNITY OFFERS A BETTER VENUE FOR THEIR FAN BASE. HOPE TO CONTINUE THIS TRADITION, AS WE ARE SOME 125 MILES AWAY.
The view could not have been better, neither could the game....
This amazingly historical game was my first ever Titans game. I have been a fan since the move to Nashville being from TN but living in WY have always wanted to go to a game. We moved to AL with finally a chance to go and I can't believe my 1st was one of the greatest comebacks of all time!!!!
It was a totally defensive game. The score didn't stack up on either side. It was definitely not a boring game.
