Switchfoot are a Grammy-winning rock band from San Diego, California. Formed in 1996 by brothers Jon and Tim Foreman and drummer Chad Butler, the group released three albums before gaining major label attention following several prominent syncs in the 2002 romantic drama A Walk to Remember. In 2003, Switchfoot released their breakout fourth album The Beautiful Letdown, which went triple-platinum behind the band’s first Hot 100-charting singles “Meant to Live” and “Dare You to Move.” Their 2005 follow-up, Nothing Is Sound, hit a career-peak No. 3 on the Billboard 200, and the band would log another three Top 10 albums with 2011’s Vice Verses, 2014’s Fading West and 2016’s Where the Light Shines Through. Additionally, Switchfoot have earned six No. 1s on the Top Christian Albums chart, and their 2009 effort Hello Hurricane nabbed the band’s first Grammy for Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album. In 2023, Switchfoot released The Beautiful Letdown (Our Version), a 20th anniversary re-recording via their self-run independent label, lowercase people records.

Our first time at House of Blues and first time seeing Switchfoot!! Truly one of the best concerts I've ever been to!
I loved the show. I’ve following Switchfoot for 20 years and been too a few shows. They always bring the heat! I had so much fun, even days later I can’t stop thinking about it. They were awesome and looking forward to their next tour!
Switchfoot ROCKED THE HOUSE! They were totally engaged with the crowd and were flawless. It was a very entertaining show which we thoroughly enjoyed! Great venue as well!
Loved the smaller, intimate venue. Rocked it as always!! Lifelong fan for sure.
When you have a milestone show, you hope the music is amazing, the venue and staff enjoyable and that you can share it with incredible people. And if you are really fortunate, you get to enjoy it from a spot right on the barrier. Saturday night at Aura in Portland, ME was my 30th Switchfoot show and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! It's probably in my top 5. The energy traveling back and forth between the band to the crowd was amazing. Switchfoot loves to connect with their fans and they have a wonderful community that has formed a family around them. I shared the night with my daughter and dear friends I've not seen in several years. What a gift!!
What an amazing concert at a wonderful venue! The music was amazing, energetic and super fun! Loved this small, intimate setting and the seats were so comfortable! A+ concert!!
I’m always amazed at the energy - and in the case of Switchfoot, the level of joy – performers can bring show after show. It’s great to leave a show feeling just plain happy to have been there.
Amazing performance - great band, sang every song from the Beautiful Letdown album and then some. One of the best concerts I’ve been to!
This was the BEST concert I have ever been to! I can’t wait to see them again!
I had a blast at my first switchfoot concert experience! The vocals of @jonforeman was even better live! He really made us feel his music and the vibe like we are all one! He reached out to the crowd and made us connect with each other! It was a superb experience one I truly won’t forget!
One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. The sweetest guys with the best energy. They took us back to better times for one night. Thank you so much Switchfoot ❤️
I had a great time. The concert was amazing, musicians were the best and the venue staff were helpful and courteous. So good!!
Venue - Amazing Sound Quality - Amazing Price - Very well priced for concerts in T.O. Switchfoot - Amazing This was my first time seeing them. The Beautiful Letdown is a staple album from the 2000’s. They sounded just as good live and they do in a studio. The energy of the show was amazing, but was also made to feel very intimate. Especially during Twenty-Four when it was just Jon and his Acoustic in the middle of the crowd. I’ve been to a lot of concerts in my lifetime. This was definitely Top 10.
Best concert ever!! Had an absolute blast. Switchfoot is amazing; they're so cool (not to mention their beautifully written lyrics. Every song hits). I was a fan already but I've become a much bigger fan. Switchfoot fans are amazing too; everyone was so into it!!! So fun!! The venue was also the perfect place for this concert, standing with everyone in the crowd and getting to see Jon come so close to us into the audience was the best. Love you Switchfoot!!!!!!!
The Beautiful Letdown tour stop in Toronto was awesome. After playing every track to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their breakout album, the band continued on by sampling hits from their catalog. By far the best show from Switchfoot in the past five years, they still entertain and inspire.
What a blast I had with Switchfoot that night! Since I was 13 years old I’ve been following them as a fan, but never got the chance to see them in person due to many factors and obstacles. Now they came to Toronto for second time, I got the chance and went to see them! I’d never had a very close experience with the singer Jon Foreman who walked in between us on the floor, singed and share his personal experiences with us. He even high five people included me! Not needed to get the great and meet ticket. I loved the concert and Switchfoot really exceeded my expectations beyond everything else. Whenever they come back to Toronto, I’ll go and see them in concert definitely. Also if they come closer to the border in the US hehe 🙃 Highly recommended for all Switchfoot fans!!!
The best ever, just so amazing, worth every penny. Wish I could see them again tonight tbh
This was awesome! Switchfoot is so good, and the Commodore was a perfect setting for them! I would do that again in a heartbeat!
The talent, crowd engagement, humor and fun they provided was outstanding by every band. Cant wait to see all of them again soon.
We really enjoyed Matt Nathanson’s show as he engaged the audience. Blue October was new to us and we really enjoyed their music as their lyrics were very good. We left after second song by Switchfoot as it was not our style and we could not understand the words. Plus the lights were crazy which I was not sure how it contributed to their show.
