Switchfoot are a Grammy-winning rock band from San Diego, California. Formed in 1996 by brothers Jon and Tim Foreman and drummer Chad Butler, the group released three albums before gaining major label attention following several prominent syncs in the 2002 romantic drama A Walk to Remember. In 2003, Switchfoot released their breakout fourth album The Beautiful Letdown, which went triple-platinum behind the band’s first Hot 100-charting singles “Meant to Live” and “Dare You to Move.” Their 2005 follow-up, Nothing Is Sound, hit a career-peak No. 3 on the Billboard 200, and the band would log another three Top 10 albums with 2011’s Vice Verses, 2014’s Fading West and 2016’s Where the Light Shines Through. Additionally, Switchfoot have earned six No. 1s on the Top Christian Albums chart, and their 2009 effort Hello Hurricane nabbed the band’s first Grammy for Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album. In 2023, Switchfoot released The Beautiful Letdown (Our Version), a 20th anniversary re-recording via their self-run independent label, lowercase people records.

Music was awesome! Venue was great! Pricing was... Unexpected for me. I mean, maybe it's because I'm not from Seattle so the big-city economics are just surprising to me. But c'mon, $10-12 for a cup of cheapish beer? And zero coffee or caffeine anywhere but at the 'general store'? Besides this, the field parking was smart and well planned, the festoon lighting was a cool touch, the bathrooms were plentiful, It was spacious enough that I never felt crowded, and above all my wife enjoyed herself. Thank you to all. Amen.
This was likely the tenth time my wife and I had the opportunity to see Switchfoot in concert. And once again, Jon and company out performed my expectations! Congrats gentlemen! However; although I enjoyed most of the music the preceding two "warm up"bands played, (especially Justin's/Blue October witness of what "Dare You To Move"meant to him), I felt their language was personally offensive, uncalled for, and a detraction from an otherwise glorious evening. My hope is that Jon and Tim Foreman will lovingly reach out to those that open for them with the reminder that we are made in the image and likeness of God, ... and vulgarity should have no part in that reflection. Thank you.
It worked well. Concert was great. Have had good luck using Ticketmaster. We will use them again.
We are long time Switchfoot fans, so we were excited to bring our sons to the show. They are a great band made up of truly good people, so we never have to be concerned about what message they may communicate. Unfortunately the two openers were NOT family friendly. First of all, openers are supposed to get short sets to warm up the ground for the headliner. But in this case, both bands each had actually more playing time than Switchfoot. But the far bigger issue was that both Blue October and Matt Nathanson were very vulgar. By that I mean, LOTS of f-bombs, right from the jump. And Matt was actually making crude sexual jokes, including joking about orgies. At one point, he walked around in the audience, high-fiving people, and when he got back to the stage, he commented “man, I didn’t realize how many kids there were here,” and then proceeded to cuss even more. We aren’t puritans, but we care about what our kids are exposed to. This was so bad and so constant that I had to get up and take our 11 year old son out of the venue to get him away from the onslaught. It’s a shame that more thought wasn’t put into who the audience would be for Switchfoot. They are a family-safe band, but I left this concert feeling disappointed and a bit upset that my sons had to put up with that barrage of vulgarity in what should have been a fun, peaceful night.
My husband and I were so excited about this concert! Who doesn’t love a good throwback to the good old days with a band like Switchfoot. We had no idea who Blue October was and had of course heard the one Matt Nathanson song that everybody knows. Blue October was the best part about this entire concert. Switch foot was just a lot of lights and it kind of felt like a ton of hnoise. Maybe I’m just old? But it was really very obnoxiously loud. Not to mention both Blue October and Matt Nathanson were not family friendly in between their songs being played. Tonssss of cursing and even Matt Nathanson acknowledged it, but he still continued to curse
Switchfoot, Matt Nathanson and Blue October were amazing! Best show I've ever been to. They all made me feel like they were as greatful to be playing for me as I was greatful to see them! They interact with the crowd and have so much energy! I can't wait to see them all again.
I love switchfoot and their concerts. Its always a wonderful experience. This was prob my favorite one as they pulled me on stage and sang my fav song. Thank you switchfoot i love you even more! 🫶🏼🫶🏼
This concert was a great experience. This was my wife's and I first time seeing Switchfoot and it was amazing. The energy and love from the band and the fans made it a great first time. We will definitely be seeing Switchfoot again.
The bands tried their hardest. The sound was horrible. Not sure if it was the venue or the bands.
Fantastic show! Very high energy and amazing interaction with the fans
Switchfoot is always amazing! However, this was billed as a concert with Switchfoot as the headliner. Switchfoot was not the headliner and performed first amongst the 3 groups there.
I honestly had a wonderful time at the concert; I went with my date and we both thoroughly enjoyed the music. Switchfoot had an incredible set and I'd happily see them again! The other sets were also pretty awesome :)
The band lineup wasn't announced beforehand, so I assumed that Switchfoot was the headliner, and the other two bands were opening for them. I had to work that day, and couldn't get there until the show started, so I missed nearly half of the Switchfoot show. I would have taken time off to get there earlier, had I known. I was very disappointed.
This was my first time seeing Switchfoot live. Their show was amazing!! There was so much crowd interaction and the sound was impeccable! I’ve listened to them and liked them for years but had never seen them live, boy was I missing out!!! The energy, passion, crowd engagement and enthusiasm was palpable! Thank you for a great show and for your positive messages with your music!!! I’m a forever fan!!!
The band was very appreciative of the crowd and played a very memorable hour.
Switchfoot was so engaging with us as an audience and as fans, they were energetic, fun, and I can’t wait to see them more in the future!
This show was entirely awesome!!! All 3 bands played a whole set. Went there for Blue October but became a Switchfoot fan too!
VIP process could use a little work. No designated area for each artist outside the gates. Wasn’t a very fluid process to get in. Overall it was a great VIP experience and an amazing concert. Really enjoy the reusable cups!!
No regrets seeing all of the artists. Parking was easy and my seats were the best!
