Summer: The Donna Summer Musical on Tour
She was a girl from Boston with a voice from heaven, who shot through the stars from gospel choir to dance floor diva. But what the world didn't know was how Donna Summer risked it all to break through barriers, becoming the icon of an era, and the supreme queen for every diva who followed. With a score featuring more than 20 of Summer's classic hits including "Love to Love You, Baby;" "Bad Girls" and "Hot Stuff," this electric experience is a moving tribute to the voice of a generation.
The songs, dancing and clothes brought back good memories.
If you love the queen of disco (and even if you don't) this show is a MUST SEE!!!!! I first saw it on Broadway in 2019 and came from New York to see it again ššššš
We really enjoyed the show!! We thought the show was very well crafted and the performers were amazing!! Lots of energy and passion in the performance
Thoroughly enjoyed this production from the costumes to the over the top talent. Unique narrative approach too. Only complaint was the man seated in front of me whose big head obstructed the left side of the stage! Not your faultā¦
Very disappointing wish I could get my money back. Story was hard to follow and there was an uncredited where the bright lift were shin in big right in my eyes very poor
The music was extraordinary and cast was outstanding! Donna was alive in this amazing show!! Her life story was well portrayed! I cried, laugh and danced! Loved the Disco Donna!!! Highly recommend this wonderful musical experience!! #LASTDANCEā¤ļø
This show was truly incredible! The cast, the sets, the storyline and how it was directed was absolutely perfect! I definitely recommend others to see this if they have the opportunity!!!
The singers and dancers were great! The story about Donna Summer was really interesting. I never knew anything about her personal life.
We thought that the singing and production were excellent. We enjoyed learning more about Ms. Summers life experiences.
Fantastic performance by the cast and crew. We felt both joy and compassion. I absolutely recommend this for everyone to enjoy and remember the era that it represents.
Show was greatā¦not many people were familiar with it including me. Story line was great, music was wonderful and actors surfers.
This musical was well-staged and well put-together. The singers were excellent! Overall, it was a great tribute to Donna Summer and her music.
The show was excellent. Three different, talented actresses performed the action portraying Donna in different stages of her life. Many of her staple hits were performed much to my delight. I could see this performance over and over.
I grew up as a kid he didn't really listen to Donna Summer, other than the occasional song here or there that caught my interest. However, recently had a Donna Summer āRenaissanceā where I gained a deep appreciation for her talent and just how genuine a person she really was. This was the first Live musical I have ever attended. Was very intrigued the way stage props were moved around. Found myself enjoying it very well, and knew almost all the songs that were performed (pretty good considering my lack of knowledge from three months ago). 'On the Radio' seemed to get the biggest audience reaction that night and I found 'Friends Unknown' to be incredibly moving. Hats off to the three ladies who did a magnificent job in the show. Rest of the cast were very good as well. Highly recommended, especially if you are a fan. Sincerely, A Friend Unknown
I loved the actors' performance. Disco Donna was amazing at Sunday's matinee. I was mesmerized at the talent. I've seen shows in New York and this one was just as good as any I have seen in NY. Also, it was my first visit to DPAC and it was wonderful. Staff was very friendly and professional. Special thanks to Zeda who helped my 93 year old aunt to have an amazing experience.
Well done show very entertaining love the DPAC great sound and not a bad seat in the house
Bought limited sight tickets but could not tell the difference. Music was awesome. Performers were spot on.
The women were beautiful, their voices were lovely, the choreography was wonderful. I'd like to see it again. I learned a lot about Donna Summer.
The musical was great and all the performers were topnotch. I learned some things about Donna Summer's life that I did not know. We miss her but she lives on through this musical.
