About

Summer: The Donna Summer Musical on Tour

She was a girl from Boston with a voice from heaven, who shot through the stars from gospel choir to dance floor diva. But what the world didn't know was how Donna Summer risked it all to break through barriers, becoming the icon of an era, and the supreme queen for every diva who followed. With a score featuring more than 20 of Summer's classic hits including "Love to Love You, Baby;" "Bad Girls" and "Hot Stuff," this electric experience is a moving tribute to the voice of a generation.

    Excellent Show!

by N. on 10/2/19Rochester Auditorium Theatre - Rochester

Tech support assisted me with using the App to do electronic tickets. Worked great. The prepaid parking lot was not adjacent to theatre but a short walk of a block or so. The adjacent parking lot was same price. Excellent show! Would recommend it to everyone!

    Enjoyed it

    by P. M. on 10/2/19Rochester Auditorium Theatre - Rochester

The show that I went to was the FIRST show of this production tour. We were warned that they had not made it through a rehearsal yet without stopping. The show did stop twice for a reset. The audience was very good about it. We missed nothing, just a bit of a time delay. Speaking of time, there is no intermission for this show, so don't drink lots of water before going! :) The two woman who played Diva Donna and Disco Donna had wonderful voices. Really fantastic. My only problem was that Diva Donna also play Mary Gaines, Donna's mother. She would be one character in the beginning of the scene and the other character at the end. It was confusing, at least for me, until I got used to it. I believe that they should have had another actress play the mother. Regardless, it is a great show, you will enjoy it.

Our seats were very good. The music and dancing were spot on as a review of Donna’s greatest hits. We enjoyed all of it
