Styx have endured for over five decades while staying true to their progressive rock sound and theatrical live show. Since releasing their self-titled debut in 1972, Styx have sold over 54 million records worldwide between 17 studio albums, 16 compilations and nine live recordings. Notably, the band released four consecutive RIAA-certified multi-platinum albums between 1977’s The Grand Illusion, 1978’s Pieces of Eight, 1979’s Cornerstone and 1981’s Paradise Theatre, the last of which became their first to top the Billboard 200. Across their career, Styx earned eight Top 10 singles on the Hot 100, including the chart-topping “Babe” as well as “Come Sail Away” “Mr. Roboto” and their 1990 comeback single “Show Me the Way.” Despite several hiatuses and lineup changes, Styx have become one of rock’s most consistent touring acts, hosting nearly 100 live shows every year for over two decades and netting career-best earnings on massive co-headlining tours with REO Speedwagon, Foreigner and Def Leppard. In 2021, Styx released their seventeenth studio album, Crash of the Crown.

STYX still amazes me. Thee guys still have fun and know how to rock!
It was like listening to their greatest hits CD (as I did on my 100 mile journey to the concert) It just goes to show, many of the 70s and 80s bands still can put on a stellar performance at a very reasonable price. Styx is worth seeing, and I would do it again!
This is the third time I've been to a STYX concert and this one was just amazing. They played all thier hits, with "Come Sail Away" just rockin the house! Those guys sounded great, looked great, and had a great show!!!! BRING THEM BACK! BRING THEM BACK! BRING THEM BACK!
The Styx concert at Jackpot Junction casino was spectacular!!! Will definitely keep checking out their concerts!
These guys have not slowed down or weakened by the passing of years. They sound as good as ever and are still hot!
show was great! it brought me back to my teenage years when i saw them in their stadium shows many times.they have just got better with age.didnt quite know what to expect without dennis fronting but i was very impressed with his replacement. go see them if you get the chance, you wont be disappointed.
Styx was awesome. They sounded just like the original band even though it was just 2 of the original members. Would highly recommend this concert.
Styx was rock'in, Great songs, Didn't quit understand the Beatles Songs but was still great fun Rock'in and Roll'in.
The Styx concert on May 3 in Cham-bana was absolutely great. We had a wonderful time - the band can sing & play as well (or better) than ever. You will never regret seeing their show! How soon will they be back??
This was the 10th time I have seen Styx. It seems that they get better everytime. If you have never seen them, you need to spend some money on this low-dough-show and spend an evening with them.
I can't believe that Styx came to this middle of nowhere town and played such an awesome concert! They have a great stage presence and I loved the concert finale! The only drawback I could see about the show were the acoustics in the assembly hall, but it was still a great show and I left feeling that I got every dime of entertainment I was expecting out of my ticket. Overall, amazing - 5 Stars!
My family went to the Styx concert in Champaign. This was my son's first concert, and it was definitely an amazing concert for him to see!!! I absolutely LOVED the concert. It came off as being very intimate, like you were having a private party. The band was very humorous and seemed like real people. I grew up listening to Styx and have always loved them, I love them even more now. The concert was the best concert I have ever seen, and I have seen quite a few!!! I know my son will never forget it!!!! The only thing that disappointed me was that there were so many songs of theirs that I love that didn't get played (i.e., Mr. Roboto, nothing off of Paradise Theater). Also, at the end the played a Beatles song, which was unnecessary because they have so much of their own music that they could have played.
I have seen STYX several times over the years and am never disappointed. This time was special because I got to enjoy it with my 17 year old son who is now an extreme fan as well.
Wow! What a night to remember! A must see show for any rock and roller!
Great concert! Floor seats were great. Good stage performance
Excellent show. All the old favorites you would think of when you think of Styx. Sounded great, looked great. Only short fall was it was 1 hr 45 min long and no opening act. Other then that I really enjoyed these talented musicians who put on a great show!
What a great concert! Brought back lots of memories of 1976!! Great fun and great music from one of the greatest bands around. So glad that I went and that they are still touring and going strong!
These guys not only sounded good, they kicked total butt! Good musicians typically get better, not worse, and that is definately the case with these guys. If you think that these guys are "over"... think again. Like a fine wine, they get better with age! Good job guys!
First time my wife and I to see Styx in concert. Heard they put on a quality show and did not let us down! Would go see them again.
Styx sounded good and it was a nice turn out. Styx played for appx. 1 hour 45 minutes. Wished they could of played a little longer for the price of the tickets. Didn't play some songs like Babe or Mr. Roboto but they did throw in a few hidden gems like Castle Wall. I would recommend, especially if they were touring with another classic acts band (especially for the amount of the tickets).
