About

Styx have endured for over five decades while staying true to their progressive rock sound and theatrical live show. Since releasing their self-titled debut in 1972, Styx have sold over 54 million records worldwide between 17 studio albums, 16 compilations and nine live recordings. Notably, the band released four consecutive RIAA-certified multi-platinum albums between 1977’s The Grand Illusion, 1978’s Pieces of Eight, 1979’s Cornerstone and 1981’s Paradise Theatre, the last of which became their first to top the Billboard 200. Across their career, Styx earned eight Top 10 singles on the Hot 100, including the chart-topping “Babe” as well as “Come Sail Away” “Mr. Roboto” and their 1990 comeback single “Show Me the Way.” Despite several hiatuses and lineup changes, Styx have become one of rock’s most consistent touring acts, hosting nearly 100 live shows every year for over two decades and netting career-best earnings on massive co-headlining tours with REO Speedwagon, Foreigner and Def Leppard. In 2021, Styx released their seventeenth studio album, Crash of the Crown.

  • Young Band

by Bo on 9/29/25Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

That is how it seemed. So energetic and they were having a great time. I thought it would be good but it was great.

  • Way too loud for that size venue

by Robert on 9/28/25Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 3 out of 5

Can tolerate loud music but thought this was on another level and for no reason. Can barely hear the drowned out voices. Unfortunate!

  • Styx is always great

by Law on 9/28/25Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

Styx has been great for decades and they still are today. The newer stuff is great, Will E has been a fantastic addition not only as a producer but on stage as well. It had been way too long since they were at Bergen Pac, I hope it's not that long till the next time.

  • Too old to R&R ?

by HMS on 9/28/25Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 1 out of 5

It was a 90 minute show on a Thursday evening that began at 7pm. I hope the band was tucked in with their cookies and milk by 10 pm

  • Tremendous theater and great show

by Rufus491 on 9/28/25Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

Wow seeing Styx in this small theater with great views it was an amazing show. I’ve seen them a few times in bigger venues, but this one really blew me away. Their energy and the entire concert was superb.

  • We had a great time!!!

by Laurie on 9/28/25Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

Styx put on an excellent performance. The songs sounded the same as back in the 70s and 80s. I have been telling all my friends and family that this is a concert you don't want to miss!!!! They were amazing!!!!

by DJ on 9/28/25Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

We’ve seen Styx many times before, and they always sound great. That are all great showman and play many of their hits. They played about 90 minutes, and I wish the6 had played longer

  • Sounded Great

by CinNJ on 9/28/25Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 4 out of 5

Styx sounded great; we had a great time and the venue was very intimate. We just wished that they played a bit longer.

  • High Energy Concert

by Mermaid186 on 9/28/25Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

The Styx concert at the Englewood PAC was great. They came on and did a high energy show and played lots of their hits. The Englewood PAC is a great venue and we enjoy all the concerts we see there. Tommy Shaw's voice sounded great, as did the rest of the band's.

  • Awesome Show-As Usual

by Joe S. on 9/28/25Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

Tommy Shaw’s voice is as good as ever. Played all of their hits and Bergen PAC is still an amazing venue. Can’t wait until they come through this area again.

  • Awesome show!!

by Wendy Rose on 9/28/25Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

The band was high energy and enthusiastic. They played every favorite except for DDY’s “Babe” as well as a couple of newer songs. The volume was tailored to the size of the venue, making it feel like an intimate rock concert!! So glad I got a chance to see them😊

  • Amazing

by KR on 9/14/25Old National Events Plaza - EvansvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Styx was amazing. Can't wait to hear their new album. One of the best concerts I have been to.

  • Styx

by MrsE on 9/14/25Old National Events Plaza - EvansvilleRating: 3 out of 5

Styx was excellent. No idea who the opening act was, not introduced. I wish I had made a note of times but both acts were way behind schedule. Unfortunate especially with an older crowd. It went until almost 10. Sound quality was poor. & amateurish. Even feedback during one of Tommy Shaws solos. And of course $9 to $12 for a drink is ridiculous. .

  • Not what I expected

by Heavy Metal on 9/14/25Old National Events Plaza - EvansvilleRating: 3 out of 5

Styx was great they played all the hits and put on a great show. I was disappointed because when I bought the tickets it was for the brotherhood of rock tour with Kevin cronnen and Don Felder. They were not there instead we got a band I had never heard of.
