  • Time travel back to the 80’s

by Wallysgtr on 10/6/25Music Box at the Borgata - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Strangelove has to be the most passionate tribute band I’ve ever seen. Performed spot and with incredible sound/voices. Loved when they brought up old WLIR and Larry the Duck (IYKYK)

  • So much fun

by Suzanne on 9/19/25Hard Rock Live Sacramento - WheatlandRating: 5 out of 5

They sounded great and played a great combination of old and new songs. My friends and I loved every minute and danced the whole time

  • Good Show

  • Stranglove was so fun!

by Franke on 9/16/25Hard Rock Live Sacramento - WheatlandRating: 4 out of 5

This was our second time seeing this tribute band. They are absolutely fantastic. They get five stars but the people who stood in front of us get a big thumbs down. I wish I could go to a concert without having people stand up in front of us. I guess I have to get front row seats next time.

  • Wow

My wife and I are a big fan of Depeche Mode and I’ve seen them in concert many times and we were blown away by Strangelove. It was a great evening would highly recommend anyone who loves Depeche Mode to go see them😀

  • GREAT MUSIC

by Gigabytes on 9/16/25Hard Rock Live Sacramento - WheatlandRating: 5 out of 5

So I work for the venue where this band recently played and I LOVED the show!! the opener was the Bowie Experience where the opening band played David Bowie songs, some of which I've heard and others that were new to me. AND THEN THE HEADLINER BAND played and it was AWESOME Again they played several songs fromalbums that I've never heard, and some that I grew up listening to! It was an extremely ELECTRIC experience!!

  • Best Depeche Mode tribute band

by Green Hornet on 9/16/25Hard Rock Live Sacramento - WheatlandRating: 5 out of 5

I saw this band in Denver by fluke about 5 years ago. Awesome! Then 2 weeks later they were in my hometown of Sacramento at a small venue. Awesome! They have been in town about 3 more times and now played the Hard Rock Live just outside of Sacramento. They do not disappoint. They take you back to the the sound and stage show of a Depeche Mode concert of old!! Dave and Martin should be proud of the way these guys represent the greatest band of the lost 80’s! Go see them!!

  • A Chippendale's performance to a backing track

by Jos on 9/16/25Hard Rock Live Sacramento - WheatlandRating: 1 out of 5

They sing to a backing track, sometimes pretending to press a few keys and shouting out something incoherent. The vocalist acts like a Chippendale's performer instead of actually singing.

  • Great experience

It was a great experience that would be unforgettable.

  • Weak bass in the sound system

by JP on 9/3/25Uptown Theatre Napa - NapaRating: 1 out of 5

The Napa Uptown sound system is weak. The bass is not intense enough and does not give you that thrill of seeing live music; you should feel the bass in your body. Instead, it's like listening to music in your car. I will not be recommending this venue until they beef up the sound system.

  • This was a great show

by Dr K on 9/2/25Uptown Theatre Napa - NapaRating: 5 out of 5

Was skeptical at first, being a fan of the DM, then figured, hey, these guys look like them, sound like them, what if. Well, they didn't disappoint. they were great. It was like what I think DM sounded like back in the day, it was a fun concert, everyone that was there was from about the same era 80s kids that grew up on DM and the Cure and Strangelove brought back that feeling of being young again. Todays DM is still great, but they moved on, they now write new music, they sound different now, they sing about other things that are more important to them today, and that is cool, I still go and buy tickets to see them every time they come to town. Strangelove gave me what i don't get much - trip down a memory lane, going back to my teenage years when DM was in their early 20s and the songs were new then, sounded new to us. this is what I got from them. Loved the show. will go again next time they are in town, its a free trip back to your youth. you cant ask for a better way to spend a weekend.

  • Depeche Mode cover

by Anonymous on 8/20/25The Wiltern - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome this band was. They covered Depeche Mode like they were Depeche Mode. I would see them again in a heartbeat. Small venue couldn’t ask for better. I really enjoyed the show any other acts that played that evening we’re also fantastic by the way.

  • Pleasantly Surprised!

by Nicole on 8/19/25The Wiltern - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Did I actually see Depeche Mode or a cover band? I may never really know! My first time seeing Strangelove and as a DM fan since the late 80's, this was such a treat! I was a little skeptical at first, but since I was bummed missing their (DM) last tour, I didn't want to miss the next best thing. And for them to be playing so close to my place (walking distance), I knew I had to. I bought a really cheap ticket, but it was at the Wiltern so any seat is a good one! I was not disappointed. The lead singer (faux Dave) was magnificent! Has all of his mannerisms and quirks down to a T. I was pleasantly surprised! I will definitely look forward to seeing them again the next time they swing around.

  • Strangelove great-but too may openers!

by Dr. Jo on 8/19/25The Wiltern - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

When I purcahse tickets-I really only want to see the headliner....There were 3 opening acts and Strangelove didn't get on stage until 10:30 PM!! That's 2 1/2 hours waiting for the main headliner. They were great but get rid of the opening acts!

  • Love this high energy Group!

by JJ on 8/18/25House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

This is the 3rd time I have seen Strangelove. I have also seen Depeche Mode in concert twice. High energy, professional, talented performers! They love to perform and it shows. Great at engaging with audience. Would see them again!

  • Greatest show I have seen in years

by Joel J on 7/14/25Aztec Theatre - San AntonioRating: 5 out of 5

This show is one in the best shows I've ever seen in my life. Not only was it true to the original band but I was with really good friends which made it even more worthwhile. The venue took care of the Ada seating needs and a wonderful way and that dreams we're amazingly strong.

  • Fantastic

by Mbrg on 7/14/25Aztec Theatre - San AntonioRating: 5 out of 5

This is the third time I’ve seen this band. Seems like they get better every time. Music is on queue and the vocals are great. Highly recommend if you’re a fan of Depeche Mode. The opening act Electric Blue was also very good which is a David Bowie cover band. Both the guitarist and drummer from Strangelove played with this band.
