I thought this concert was great! Both Steven Curtis Chapman and Jeremy Camp were spot on and provided a night of awesome entertainment. I am thrilled that the State Fair continues to host a Christan concert every year! Great job!
My husband and I attended this concert together and were touched by the stories told and illustrations of scripture given. Then to top that off with amazing music for our soul was truly a gift! We left that concert feeling the presence of God and left with something to take home from it and carry in our hearts. Thank you for coming to the State Fair!!
Jeremy Camp and Steven Curtis Chapman blessed the Iowa State Fair with their presence and their ministries. Both were a great start to the greatest midwest fair. It was great to hear about where these two gentlemen are in their walk and that they have overcome many trials and still press onward. It was also great to see that both Chapman sons are part of the band. Caleb (drums) and Will (bass) make a great addition to rhythm and tempo sections of the band.
So great to be uplifted by a person who is struck by tragedy and yet he is the one who gives you hope for tomorrow!!!
This concert was amazing. Everywhere you looked you could see the presence of God. It was very inspiring and uplifting and I left the concert feeling alive and revived. Awesome concert!
Jeremy Camp was great! The sound could have been a bit better for his 1st half. I've been to S.C.C. before and was expecting more of his stories & music. Wanted more time! It was awesome
Steven Curtis Chapman shared during the concert some very personal and difficult things that have transpired in his life over the past 1.5 years. It was amazing to hear this mega Christian musician share these things and be real with people. Sharing these things makes him seem more real and not so out of touch with those who listen and buy his music. Not to mention that his music is always wonderful. I love Steven and will keep coming to his concerts.
This concert was absolutely amazing! Both Jeremy Camp and Steven Curtis Chapman gave top notch performances. These men are so incredible!!!
This was a great concert. I love having Christian concerts at the State Fair. The attendance was great with all ages and seats were full.

I LOVED the concert with both the artists! My only thing I would have like tohave had the words to the songs on the screen, it's a great way to learn the songs I don't know as well.
It was a great evening for a concert, maybe a little muggy weather wise, but hey it's August in Iowa. Both performers gave great performances. SCC introduced a great new song. if I have a complaint it might be the sound, it wasn't quite right for the first song by either performer, but got better for the second. Over all it was a great night for praise and worship.
God used these two singers to touch my heart and remind me that I am not alone in my struggles. They are an inspiration to me in their faith and how they have come through the trials of life.

Aside from the heat, this was an awesome evening. A wonderful combination of artists. We are still enjoying the evening's emotions this morning. We are so excited that the Iowa State Fair could and would put this evening together.
I loved both artists and found their messages very inspiring. Wish the concert would have started a little earlier though!!
These guys were awesome! Not only is their music absolutely the best, but the love of Jesus shines when they are on stage -- for God's Glory! I am certain that God, the creator of the universe, truly enjoyed their performance last night as much as I did!
