Steep Canyon Rangers Tickets

Both Steep Canyon and Donna Long are great, refreshing, innovative with high musicality. Dailey & Vincent was OK, same old stuff.

Both bands were excellent. Great show in a very intimate venue.

The Rangers are arguably the best in Bluegrass. Their performance in Ponte Vedra Beach mostly consisted of their more recent works, which are overall their best. But we did miss their harmonies in some of the older works which have been described as "jaw dropping". We concur! Mike Gagino's instrumental pieces are just phenomenal and are always among the highlights of their shows. The only negative of the evening was the excessive volume of the bass which tended to overwhelm the rest of the performance. The Rangers seem to get better every year. We are looking forward what the rest of 2014 brings.

I first saw SCR last year when they backed up Steve Martin, and enjoyed that concert alot, so when the band came back to the area, I knew I had to be there. I am so glad I had tix to this concert because, as a group, the music was great and full of energy. Also as wonderful was the fact that each of the musicians is very skilled and each was able to showcase those excellent skills, supported by the rest of the band. If they are in the area, I will definitely see the band again, and I might even travel to the festival they put on in North Carolina! If you like bluegrass, you'll like SCR.

We saw their Rangers in St Augustine and had to see them again. They are entertaining from first note to the last. We have become big fans.

I had never seen the Steep Canyon Rangers in concert and I have to say they really were entertaining. I really liked how well they played together and they looked like they really were having fun up there on stage. I was definitely part of the younger demographic but it really didn't matter because they are a great music experience for all ages!!! Nicely done guys, I would come see you play again in a heartbeat!

Excellent shop. Great intro act was also very entertaining. I wish you could have done something about the two women next to me that talked the entire time (not about the show) ALso all of the noise in the refreshment area during the intro session. Great facility, All seat have a great view. We will go again.

Joy Kills Sorrow was great and Emma has a wonderful voice. Steep canyon Rangers were Fabulous. They played for 2 hrs. The Fiddler was truly AMAZING!

From the time that Joy Kills Sorrow entered the stage until the time the Steep Canyon Rangers left it the audience was treated to the best contemporary bluegrass ever. JKS"s lead vocalist had a voice strong enough that she could have been heard out on Church St. The band's stage presence felt like they were truly thrilled to be performing for their audience. SCR was double pumped. They sang new songs and old favorites with a gusto that just enveloped the audience. They just kept entertaining us from the time that they took the stage until they finally had to quit. The audience would have stayed until the next morning if the band could have lasted that long. Their stage presence was typical of them in that they made each member of the audience fell like they were there to play for just them - it was that kind of a show.

great down-home fun from a group that knows how to weave together enjoyable, catchy tunes. it was clear that each musician was individually talented, making the some of their parts that much more fantastic.

This was the best concert ever - each of them are excellent with the instrument that they play. They interact really well with the audience and the audience went wild. They came back for an encore and played 3 more songs. Wished they could have stayed all night. Love the new guy on the drum box - he was a great addition! This is my favorite bluegrass group!

I was expecting a good show; but this was terrific. Everyone was exceptional, the fiddle player was world-class, and the music was top notch. Their new release Tell the Ones I Love has a lot of great new songs.

Saw them with Steve Martin earlier this year and immediately looked for tickets. Bluegrass as good as it gets. Don't miss the chance to see these guys.

Steep Canyon Rangers always put on a great show! I've seen them at least 6 times and each time I'm happy that I went.

Steve Martin with the Steep Canyon Rangers and Eddie Brickell. One of the best concerts that I have ever attended! Simply stated it was two hours of exceptional music, great humor and superb entertainment! The Steep Canyon Rangers are an excellent blue grass band. They are very accomplished musicians. At one point during the concert Steve Martin and Eddie Brickell went back stage and the Steep Canyon Rangers performed a number of songs including an a cappella piece. All of the songs were done very well and the a cappella song was excellent. Eddie Bricknell sang a number of songs that she and Steve Martin co-wrote, she is a very good singer. Steve Martin is excellent on the banjo and his comedic talents were in full flight for the whole evening. When he was playing with the Steep Canyon Rangers the sound was fantastic. All of this made for an exceptional and very highly recommend concert.

The Rangers mesmerized the crowd in the warm and intimate environs of the Behtel Woods Center for the Arts on Friday evening, May 3rd. If you have the opportunity to see this band, I guarantee you will be treated to some of the finest harmonies and some of the best solo instrumental performances you will have ever heard.
