  • Best ever show

Amazing show. Beautiful to watch. Jason Brown solo performance was most touching.

  • Amazing Evening of Figure Skating

    by J. P. on 5/23/23Honda Center - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

This event never disappoints. It features the best in US Figure Skating as well as a dose of foreign skaters as well. There are individual and group numbers which feature wonderful music, lighting and choreography. It is entertaining and both the skaters and the fans attending are friendly and make for a fun evening for all ages. If you really want a special extra treat buy the Meet and Greet where you can actually take pictures and spend time chatting with all the skaters.

  • STARS ON ICE was terrific

    by P. T. on 5/23/23Honda Center - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

To see Jason Brown and Kurt Browning in person would have been enough, but to add Nathan Chen, Loena Henrdrickx and all the other wonderful skaters... I actually cried halfway through the whole thing because I was just so happy. I've been watching figure skating since the early 1960s, when I remember my mother telling me about the plane crash that killed the US figure skaters... and then by 1968 we had Peggy Fleming, an Olympic gold medalist. I've been hooked ever since. Thank you, Scott Hamilton, for starting Stars on Ice. Years ago, I went to the Ice Capades, which I found very disappointing because the skaters didn't seem to be given the opportunity to show what they could actually do. I didn't have that problem here. As long as I've got your ear, I'd also like to put in a word for reviving the professional competitions — the level of maturity and artistic & choreographic creativity was always a joy to watch... and that's certainly part of why I was thrilled with last night's performance as well. Job well done, everyone! Also, thanks to those behind the scenes that make it happen. Thank you for being flawless at your jobs.

Always great, such an amazing show. We go every year and it never disappoints, and so fun and wholesome for kids.

  • I had a wonderful time and could see well from my seat.

by Mar on 8/9/22Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I had an amazing time really enjoyed the show and the food options. I do wish the font on the names of the skaters was clearer. The music was good and up beat as well as the lighting. It was my first time and I cant wait to go to the next show. Ive spoken highly of the show to family and friends.

Nathan Chen and all of the skaters were even better in person than watching the Olympics. I am so glad that I decided to go see the show in person. It was well worth it and probably the best show I have ever seen!

  • Thank you Stars On Ice for an amazing show!

by Kathi L on 6/6/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

After cheering TEAM USA at the Olympics in China, I was so excited at the possibility of seeing Gold Medalist Nathan Chen, and all the US and World champions skate in person in Portland. I was so proud of each athlete for their hard work, perseverance, and being the best skaters around! I hadn't gone to Stars on Ice since 2014 when my daughters took ice skating lessons. Now they are grown up (24 and 28) and we decided to go because we admire the ice skaters so much! They make it look so easy! Loved the programs, music was inspirational and moving, the ladies skating outfits are even more beautifully designed, wonderful plum/lavendar colors, practical design. It was captivating to watch each program. Each athlete was unique, amazing, and just looked so warm and personable. Loved watching Nathan skate to Rocketman!! Loved Karen Chen's skate to Hero. Thank you Nathan for sharing at the end of the program. Portland was your last stop of the tour. I could tell you all were close and had an amazing experience and memories to cherish. Thanks for coming to Portland and sharing your talents. We are so proud of the skaters and crew, and everyone who put the pieces together to make the program so entertaining and wonderful. There's been so much sadness in the world. Thank you for giving us something to smile and be happy. Have a great summer everyone! :)

  • Went for Nathan Chen and go a whole lot more

by Annie K on 6/6/22Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I went to this Stars On Ice mostly to see spectacular Nathan Chen skate as he thrilled us all during the Winter Olympics, but, oh boy! Every skater on the ice was just wonderful. It was a spectacular evening of skating - Stars On Ice says it all. Thanks for a fantastic show of skating prowess by all the Stars, and wonderful showmanship too. The sets, costumes, lighting and music were so well done, complimenting the skaters' solos and pair dancers. My husband and I loved every minute of it.

  • Great Show

by Jill A on 6/6/22Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Attending was an experience we never had before and I'm happy to say it was well worth it! It was great to see our stars doing what they do best. We have to admit, we liked it best when they all skated together.

  • Stars on Ice was Fantastic

The show was absolutely wonderful and the music selection was great!! Climate Pledge Arena is absolutely awesome!

  • Worst one I've seen

by Disappointed attendee on 6/4/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PortlandRating: 2 out of 5

I've never left a Stars on Ice show disappointed until now. Most of the music was slow & I seriously almost nodded off a few times. I don't mind a few slow songs, but the upbeat fun ones are more entertaining to watch. The weirdest part was child adoption being pushed in our faces. A brief verbal advertisement would've been fine... but turning the lights on & making people feel pressured & going on and on... that was ridiculous. I didn't pay for a commercial. I love children & yes, more should adopt if they can, but set-up a booth somewhere, don't make it part of the show.

  • Amazing show!

by JJ on 6/2/22Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I honestly love the show! There was great skaters and the arena is a great place. The seats were cheap and there was good seats available as well. I loved the program and I brought a friend that knows like nothing about figure skating and she found it super fun too!

  • Best Stars Ever, and There Have Been A Lot of Great Ones

I wasn't able to locate my parking ticket for the 5th Avenue Garage but the fellow let me in anyway. I would like to make sure the garage gets reimbursed.

Nice to get back to events with Stars on Ice- I have loved ice skating since I was a kid and this was a delight to see the stars, costumes, moves, and be together again. Highly recommend if you want to see up close and personal Olympian and Ice Skating Champion stars!

  • Fabulous!!

by Cheryl on 6/1/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

It was such a privilege to see these skaters perform their award winning routines. Great lighting and sound. Not too loud or too bright. The price was right also.

  • Phenomenal Artistry & Physicality!

by Jules on 6/1/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

Moving & magical, I was transcended to a place where only beauty, boldness & positivity existed on the ice & in the arena.✨🙏🏼✨☮️✨♥️✨⛸✨ Thank you, from my heart for this unique experience which I’ve only felt with “Stars on Ice” performances! I’ve been blessed to attend numerous “Star’s on Ice” performances since 1990 & every time I’m left with feeling a sense of wonderment! This performance by this cast was almost beyond description, as I literally “felt” the emotions of the athletes on a visceral level; honored to sit right off the ice by the entrance/exit the skater’s used , my companion & I felt immersed in the experiences of the gifted skaters & their deep connections to one another. I attended the SOI performance 4 years ago, when I initially experienced Nathan Chen’s artistry & superior skating techniques in person; it was amazing to see four years later he had taken his talents to a new level, nearly beyond my ability to describe! Yet with all of the entire cast’s talents on the ice, it was their extraordinary spirts I felt flying across the ice & it was magical! I thought of nothing else but joy as I was totally immersed with all the souls on the ice; Thank You to the cast, the crew & to Scott Hamilton for envisioning this experience & using it as a platform for the ultimate good for families everywhere! Knowing children & their future parents are being united for the last 35 years is so inspiring & hopeful! ✨🙏🏼✨🙏🏼✨⛸✨🙏🏼✨🙏🏼✨♥️

  • It was the best ice show we have ever seen!

Seeing all of these beautiful young skaters in person, especially Nathan Chen, our current Olympic champion, and the fabulous performer Jason Brown!
