  • Great Show, Such Amazing Talent

by Sheila on 6/6/23Agganis Arena - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

The show was great. I went mostly to see Nathan Chen but really enjoyed all the performers. Kurt Browning was amazing. It was fun to see all the kids from the skating clubs so thrilled to see the skaters they look up to.

  • Skaters are amazing

by Dancegirl on 6/6/23Agganis Arena - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

The show was great. The Holt international speech is just way too long and not a nice way to try to raise money. Guilting people into it. Skaters are incredible and put their hearts into every moment. Pls keep Satoko Miyahara on the US tour - she is gold.

  • There are no words!

    by Joe P on 6/6/23Agganis Arena - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

One of my best event experiences ever and I am 67! And I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase front row seats! They were actually on the ice. So if you can imagine watching Olympic calibre skaters with no barrier in front of you at eye level, it was unbelievable. It was poetry and Ballet and pure athletics combined on ice. I will never forget it.

I have been to almost one of every skating championship event Junior and Senior, (no European Champs)Stars on Ice was a culmination of all that these skaters have worked towards over a lifetime! Nothing watered down! They give it their all an under spotlights! Wow! Great show and truly wonderful selection of International skaters from each discipline! Great job!

  • Disappointing

by Figure Skating Fan on 6/6/23CFG Bank Arena - BaltimoreRating: 3 out of 5

I have been attending Stars on Ice for over 20 years. At the show on Friday, 2 June 2023, at the CFG Arena in Baltimore, I was very glad to see Kurt Browning on his final season and to finally see Nathan Chen in person. However, the show was disappointing for two reasons: 1.) The music and sound was WAY TOO LOUD! Even though I was wearing ear plugs during the entire performance, I still had a slight ringing in my ears the next day. The thunderous volume definitely detracted from my enjoyment of the show. 2.) The choreography didn't have the same spark or creativity as that of some previous shows that I have seen.

  • I was pleased

by BallerinaAnna on 6/5/23CFG Bank Arena - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

My parking experience was good. Everyone at the arena was friendly and helpful.

  • Loved the show

by Happy on 6/5/23CFG Bank Arena - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

Had a great time. Nothing like seeing skaters live.

  • Great show

by DB on 6/5/23CFG Bank Arena - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

The show was excellent. The ice was a little short and I was concerned for the safety of the skaters with no boards between the people and the skaters. But the show itself was wonderful. Nathan Chen is such a star. Ilia is a rising star and the tribute to Kurt Browning was so well deserved. All of the skaters were fun and beautiful. The speaker, however, took too long before the intermission. The Arena seats do not work for tall men, by the way.

  • GREAT AS EVER

by Dave on 6/5/23CFG Bank Arena - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

So happy to see this event back in Baltimore after several year absence. I would see it during the '90's and '00's, but it stopped coming to this part of the country. However, the past two years I got to see it at Hershey. I had a great seat on the floor and also got to participate in the Meet & Greet for the first time. Figure skating is my favorite Olympic sport and I watch all the national and international Figure Skating events on TV

  • Fantastic Show!

by Nikki E. on 6/5/23CFG Bank Arena - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

This was our first stars on ice. We had floor seats. It was AMAZING. My daughter hasn’t stopped smiling. The venue seemed a bit unprepared (concession and souvenir stands weren’t open when we came in and had issues with parking garage) but the show itself was wonderful! I hope they come closer to Fairfax VA next year. We will definitely be buying tickets when they come near us again!

  • Leg room please!!

by Suzy Q on 6/5/23CFG Bank Arena - BaltimoreRating: 1 out of 5

The seats are way too close. My knees still hurt from the seat in front of me. How was this an improvement?

  • Great time

  • Fantastic show! Venue lacking

by Bballdee on 6/3/23Allstate Arena - RosemontRating: 4 out of 5

SOI at Allstate Arena on Tues, May 30, 2023 was fantastic! The show was definitely 5 stars! The venue however, was at best a 3, for an average of 4 stars. Venue is very dated and in serious need of improvement. Word of warning: seats on the ice, or floor, are not accessible to patrons that are strictly wheelchair bound. If you can ambulate with assistance, they will assist you to your seat. Never have I been to a venue that denies mobility-impaired patrons access to the floor level via elevator. Yes, they have a service elevator, but for whatever reason, will not allow patrons access to it.👎

  • Terrific show; terrible handling of the audience

by PattiD on 6/3/23Allstate Arena - RosemontRating: 4 out of 5

This 2023 Stars on Ice tour has an awesome cast of skaters who put on an incredible show. The programs were high-energy and lots of fun, and beautifully performed. Kurt Browning's final tour with the show made it an even more emotional evening. We loved everything about the show - except for two things: 1. Literally dozens and dozens of people were trying to get into their seats during the first numbers (at the start of the show and after intermission). It was very disruptive, to those who had to get up and to those behind them whose views were repeatedly blocked. Ice shows need to follow a rule similar to those at hockey games (no seating while the puck is in play), and hold people back until a number is finished; they can get to their seats during bows and announcing of the next skater. 2. The hard sell to donate during intermission was just too much. I love Scott Hamilton and admire his desire to give back to the adoptive community. The short video from him was fine, but then following that with a live speaker and trying to get people to commit to monthly donations on the spot was over-the-top aggressive. Keeping the house lights off for so long essentially kept the audience hostage, and maybe contributed to the problem of late-comers for the second half (issue #1 above). At the very least, I bet it turned off a lot of people, and did not help the cause very much.

  • SO fun!!

    by taylor g on 6/3/23Allstate Arena - RosemontRating: 5 out of 5

Stars on Ice put together a great lineup of skaters across the disciplines and they were all just so entertaining to watch! The group numbers surprised me as my favorite. Parking was a tad expensive but it was very close to the entrance. Every seat had a great view.

  • Great Job by All

    by S. P. on 6/2/23Allstate Arena - RosemontRating: 5 out of 5

Love the show. All the participants looked like they were having fun. Will miss seeing Curt Browning. Also, had wished Scott Hamilton had been able to perform this year. It certainly would have been nice to see Scott and Curt in a skit playing off each others antics. All in all the show was absolutely great. I do hope to see it next time it is in town. But can't you do something about the outrageous price of parking! $25.00 is pretty steep.
