It was wonderful and Nathan lived up to all my expectations. Thank you!
Great performances, probably the most concentrated group of talent you'll ever see. Was also my first time in the new Climate Pledge Arena, also very nice.
We had an amazing time at Stars on Ice. Watching the talent in person was fantastic, and the venue was clean and organized.
Like watching an Olympic competitive routine live but better in that there are lots of performances that can't be done in actual competition. Many skaters and all very talented. In addition some great group routines requiring excellent synchronization. Highly recommend this show.
Bad--having to use an app for entry. It's difficult for some people, especially the senior folks, to navigate all the technology. As for the actual show--FANTASTIC! Seeing Nathen Chen in person was a revelation--he dances above the ice, barely touching it. All the other skaters were wonderful, too. We were wondering at first if the show would be a monetary loss because of so many empty seats. However, by the time the show started, apparently delayed by traffic?, there weren't so many empty seats. Each number was performed beautifully; the occasional falls did not distract from the artistry. I wish the ice skating organizations would advertise more to draw more people. This was an uplifting show with great performers and music.
I think it is unfortunate that the US was not as dominant as it has been at the Winter Olympics and I didn't watch it very much. It was great seeing it live for the first time in my life. It seemed like they were sandbagging a bit...for example no consecutive jumps and doubles instead of triples etc.
the skaters were great, Customes beautiful and choreography was exceptional.
Loved Alyssa Liu’s performance and of course Nathan Chen was incredible. We had a wonderful time
This show was nothing like shows past where the routines were all new and brilliantly choreographed. There were always dramatic performances but many were fun and quirky. This current show had moments of greatness (Nathan, Jason, Maddie and Zach, Maddie and Evan) but otherwise was ho-hum. I've followed this cast of skaters, some for 15 years, so seeing them perform the same routines they did all season or a performance very similar to what they usually do had me mentally checking out. As a result, it is unlikely that I will attend Stars on Ice in the future. I did however enjoy the group routines, especially the closing number. I'm also disappointed with my "front row" seats that were NOT the front row. There was a row of chairs on the ice that completely blocked my view. Had I known this I would not have wasted my money on seats that were a lie and would have instead, chosen cheaper, higher seats.
This was an outstanding show. All the greatest US skaters in beautiful performances with great presentation values. Very moving.
It’s a wonderful experience to see my biggest stars on ice in person. They’re so brilliant and entertaining!!
The show was absolutely fantastic. I paid extra for a front row seat. Unfortunately there were probably no short of 60 people that walked in front of me during the performance. Mainly audience members, but also staff, showing audience members to their seats when they arrived extremely late. There was not one moment during the show where I couldn’t hear people loudly talking over the music. I specifically chose a front row seat so no one would walk in front of me, but my plan didn’t work. Additionally, people who didn’t pay for those seats left their seats and came up and took them once the performance started. Those people were very loud and inconsiderate as well. The show was so beautiful and fun and professionally done, and I was very impressed. The audience almost completely ruined it though because they were so distracting. A few basic policies about consideration for others should be enforced so every audience member can enjoy the show. (For example, waiting until a skater finishes before finding your seat if you arrive late.)
I was in the front row, but the people sitting on the ice did block my view. Also, I felt the bag policy was ridiculous. However, it was an entertaining show. I miss the mother’s day brunch with the show and my previous sap contact is no longer there so I haven’t been contacted anymore about special offers related to skating.
First class skating event with all my favorites. Excellent sound system, choreography, costumes, group numbers and performances. Best Stars on Ice that I’ve seen over many decades.
This was an amazing show. I would definitely go again!
The performance was amazing! I would highly recomend it to all. That athletes were so talented and performed such technical and amazing routines. My seats were amazing and comfortable as well i was so close to the action! I would love to see it again if I get a chance too.
I took my 18-year-old who’s expressed some interest in watching mens figure skating. I wasn’t sure how it’d go over. But at least twice, she looked at me and said, “This is cool!” I enjoyed every minute and felt like a good mom too!
I would have loved to be there. I was headed to San Jose from Berkeley on 880 and cars in front started slamming on the their brakes, as did I, but the guy behind couldn't stop. He pushed me into the car in front of me so the front hood and back hatch were damaged. Me, I have massive bruises all over, but I'm alive. Thank goodness for seat belts and head rests. My car is potentially "Totaled"
Loved the show but wish the ushers had done a better job of managing people walking up and down aisles and often spending minutes trying to find their seats.
We arrived early, easily found our seats, and had a great, unobstructed view. The show began 15 minutes late, but it was well done, and entertaining.
