My wife and enjoyed the show but I found the 20 min plug for their charity right before the intermission to be little too much.
I found the show entertaining. For me the skits were a bit corny. Would like to have seen more pair skaters as I enjoy the choreography more than the single skaters. I found the show a bit on the amateur side.
I went to see the show after a two years hiatus, where the show didn't come to Laval. This time, the show was created by the excellent Kurt Browning, (now retired from active skating in the show), Elvis Stojko, THE other idol I always went to see is still in the show, and more in shape than ever. 90% of the show rests on the young generation of skaters, who are also excellent. We even had the World Champions in Couples and Men. Loved their performances, albeit, some of them seemed more in their "program"mode, than interacting more with the audience, like the veterans. Keegan Messing is an excellent exemple of what I mean. Not only a daredevil, and an excellent skater, each time, he stepped on the ice, the crowd was there, to cheer him. One little point of improvement, is that most of the show unfolds close to the entrance where the skaters enter, so the people on the other side of the rink (I was one of them), missed a lot of the action, since the big screens were occupied with the sponsor's ads. All in all, is a wonderful show to go watch, especially with the family, or if you are a skater, or a former one. Kurt Browning's signature was present in some of the choreo, especially the comical numbers; albeit, the guy's severlily missed on the ice.... Thanks heavens, Elvis, Gilles and Poirier and Keegan are still there to hold fort for the guests.
Didn’t like the acts between the performances. Why was it only in English? Shows in the past were much better. It’s too bad because the stars have so much more potential!
Midway through the event 2 skaters took to the ice and spoke about World Vision charity and urged the audience to donate $49.99 per month to the charity. With middle class families spending $100 per ticket to bring their kids to this show, this ask lacked a lot of class. Was a BIG turn off.
My family and I enjoyed the show very much. The last time I saw Stars on Ice was more than 3 decades ago and I went home with Elvis Stojko's autograph. I loved seeing him again. It was nice to see younger skaters and veteran skaters shine. We really enjoyed the evening. Thanks!
We loved the show it was amazing.I really enjoy and my granddaughter love it too..I really enjoy to see the real champion of olympic and world champion .
Great show. Thoroughly enjoyed the show. Our second visit in 15 years - we forgot what we missed. We will be there again.
Watching Ilia do a quad axel, Patrick, Deanna and Maxine were some of the highlights of the performance. They were amazing and thankfully they were because the theatrics of the show were down right weird, long and quite frankly boring. I wanted to leave during intermission. Thankfully Keegan and Ilia had memorable performances after intermission that made it with it. Seriously, it was weird, didn’t make sense and bordered on ridiculous. Please stop.
I am 5'10 women very tall when I took mt seat I could not move my legs. It was so uncomfortable I went to talk to an employee who got me in touch with some one who could help. Your staff was wonderful they got me seats but not the ones I payed for to be closer to the ice.
The Stars were amazing. Stunning. The skits going on... they were confusing and hard to understand what was going on. For me (49) for my grandmother (94) for my dad (69) and for my neices (15 and 16). We were all asking each other what was going on multiple times. And the talking was hard to hear as muffled too loud. A skit is good just if it made more sense on what was happening or going on. Like 1 example is they brought out tins as a radar or something but why, what was the purpose or reason. They put them down skated around and then picked them up. Juts confusing.
We went for a date night and really loved the show. All of the skaters were very impressive!
Thanks so much for the great show! Loved seeing Ilia skate. Elvis was as entertaining as always. Just a pleasure to watch the level of skills these skaters demonstrate. Awesome show! Looking forward to next year!
Loved it. Can hardly wait to see it again! It was worth it. Dancing on skates is no easy task and they make it look so easy! Wow!
Loved it and would definitely go again. Great seats.
STAR ON ICE, a mesmerizing fusion of dance and ice, delivered an unforgettable spectacle that left us spellbound. The meticulously choreographed routines, breathtaking athleticism, and seamless transitions kept us engaged from start to finish. With a diverse range of performances, exceptional music selection, stunning costumes, and undeniable passion from the skaters, this event stands as one of the best shows we have ever seen. It was an immersive journey that blended elegance, artistry, and sheer talent on the ice.
Great skating Great show Great outfits Amazing talent Amazing music Incredible show. Sad that it was the end of an era. A terrific show. Every minute of it!
The skating was wonderful, the show was moving and full of fun. I will miss you Kurt!
This was an incredible show - from the music, to costumes, to choreography.... the skaters are all phenomenal! The show was funny, touching, and incredibly beautiful - so moving. I wish I could see it all over again!!
My husband and I both loved Stars on Ice. The entire show was very well choreographed, with a mix of humor, drama, romance and one sexy (but still family friendly) performance. The skaters are absolutely elite and they really work hard to give you your money's worth, and even the older legends will give you the jumps and flips that excite the audience. So worth it.
