  • Great first experience

by jsroubek on 7/6/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

For my first music festival, Spring Awakening made a lasting first impression that left me wanting more after the three days. The music and vibes were outstanding based on my experience. Friends coming together to listen to some awesome DJs was all that was needed to be done. I would definitely recommend this event to any of my friends who enjoy EDM and having a great time overall. Really looking forward to going to Spring Awakening in 2015!

  • Greatest weekend of my life!!!

by Shadezilla on 7/5/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Being a part of such an amazing event for all 3 days was unbelievable. Definately never going to forget such an amazing weekend. The atmosphere is electric. Something that's hard to find at a lot of places.

Unforgettable experience. I did not want this 3 day festival to end

  • Thomas gold no show

by PeteNorth on 6/25/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 2 out of 5

The fact that you let a dj how up day of wa unbelievable. The only reason I came on Friday was to see Thomas Gold. Tiësto as a head liner was a joke. If I wanted to hear a dj just play songs instead of mixing I would've stayed at home.

  • Spring Awakening is an experience on another level

Nothing beats good music, great vibes, and the city of Chicago.

  • Wonderful 3 days- ELABORATE STAGE DISPLAYS

    by BigGigantic06152014 on 6/24/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Friday was great- highlights being Destroid, A-trak, KNife Party and of course Tiesto in Soldier Field. Saturday was an all out rave with Pretty Lights dark music headlining the night. Paper Diamond and Diplo were well- recommended. Sunday the rain showers were short and the temperature was warm- no long sleeve needed all three days. Sunday was begun with Porn and Chicken, in which chicken wings were thrown into the crowd. During the day Sunday, my highlights were DVBBs, Blasterjaxx, Datsik, Dillon Francis, Nervo , and then I saw Big Gigantic- crazy fan following. Afterwards everyone left BG to catch the headliner- Kaskade, but they closed the field access becauseit was filled to capacity so I caught most of Kaskade in the stands until they started letting people on the field later. Wonderful three days I wish it never ended!

  • SAMF

by risssssssa on 6/24/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

Probably my last music festival for a while. Should be 21+ only. Had teens asking me to buy them beer. Overall had a very good time. I love Chicago, it was great weather, awesome lineup. If I do attend any more 3 day events they will be for people 21y/o and older though.

  • Too many high schoolers

by Chicagohousegirl on 6/23/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

The line up was great but, seriously, this event needs to be 21 and up. I haven't seen so many 15 year olds since I was in high school. Also, the fact that they only serve beer is ridiculous. Most options for people who are gluten intolerant at these things suck, but at least they have them! It would be such an amazing festival because they have such incredible djs, but again, 21+ would be so much better.

  • SAMF

It was so sick music was killing it, people were cool, and Soldier Field was incredible! I plan on going back over and over again!

  • Spring Awakening 2014

    by Jay906 on 6/23/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I can’t even explain how much fun this was. I am not at all into the rave thing and started to think I had made a mistake signing up for the trip. I was so wrong.... The first day’s line sucked but they had it figured out by the next two days. How anyone can put that many people together without huge problems is beyond me. I heard sixty thousand people were in attendance at one point and at no time did I see any fights. Chicago is its own party…. So much to do and see and their public transportation is safe and super easy to navigate. Don’t miss Navy Pier or Millennium Park.

  • Spring Awakening 2014=Epic!

by Jimmiejojoshabadoo on 6/20/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

What an incredible experience! I've been to NY, Hampton, VA, Toronto, Charlotte and my friend I was with had been to Ultra and I can say with certainty Chicago has it figured out. I had an amazing time with just wonderful people and enjoyed just epic mind bending sets from nearly every DJ on the bill. Tiesto was a bit rough as far as how crowded it was and the speakers seemed quite a bit low, but Pretty Lights and Kaskade were unbelievable performances and I had plenty of room to dance! Big G just stole my heart and was maybe one of the best times of my life! I love you Chicago!

  • Best festival ever!!!

by yesilikescake on 6/20/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

My first festival of this type and I was in love. It was a very good time with lots of friendly people.

  • Awesome Music

    by Cilla0925 on 6/20/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Had a great time! Wish the VIP we're a little closer or had better view and more drink selections like corona. Otherwise then that I had an amazing time! Great people and music.

  • You won't regret it!

by NDbz on 6/20/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

It's so worth the money. Everyone you encounter is extremely friendly. The sets are UNREAL, and everything is just flat out amazing. I am definitely going back next year. This is something I will always remember!

  • Sound system sucked, people too drunk

by Yuchie on 6/19/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 2 out of 5

They over emphasized the bass so all you could hear was the "thump" but no music. The people were mainly there to be belligerent and not to enjoy the DJs. It was disrespectful, no wonder why the DJs didn't seem to vibe with the crowd. I would not recommend if you are paying to have a good experience with good music. If you want to be rowdy with other people then this is your scene

  • Steve A. Was fun...

by OTUP on 6/19/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

This was my second time going to and what a big disappointment , not because of the performers but the "ridiculous" VIP sectors that were far from a VIP experience:( this year was even worst than last one, it felt as if you were outside the festival listening to; VIP tickets should be a different experience for those that bought them from the time you enter to the end of each perform...

  • VIP wasn't VIP

    by Hollywood616 on 6/19/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

The entire VIP experience was not worth the money. I've gone 3 years in a row and VIP has gotten progressively less and less special. The last thing I wanted to do before arriving on a day with an already packed schedule was to wait for an hour in a will call line. That's poor organization. The viewing areas for us were not close at all. Every year they get farther and farther away. Assuming I go, next year I'll be buying general admission tickets.

  • by BaddieMa on 6/19/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Easily the most amazingly epic 3 days of my life ! So worth every penny and so much more than just music and dancing , met some pretty extraordinary people. Can't wait to go back next year.

  • Best festival I've attended

by kaption on 6/19/14Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Hands down best fest I've attended so far, went to SAMF 13 also but this year was just amazing, not only do I go for the music but also for the over all production and it was all amazing , equinox stage was so awesome (keep it). Def plan on attending in 2015, side note went to EDC NY weeks before and it was not as crazy as SAMF...def the premiere fest in the mid west, only getting bigger n better. Plus I just love Chicago and soldier field and the surrounding grounds.
